We could only stay barely 2 hours and had to cancel. The pictures look nothing like in person. Very run down. The pool was closed for repairs which appeared to be closed for years. We were on the 4th floor. The elevator made a huge clang and popping sounds as it approached the 4th floor. Our AC unit didn't work. 3 drawers were broke and laying in the furniture. Sheets had stains on them. Scared of the lift, we took the stairs. There was, what we thought, a homeless person hanging out in the stairs with a couple bags. We talked to the front desk and she said let it run a while first. I reluctantly said alright then. We left for 15 minutes and while figuring out food options my other half read recent reviews on this location. One mentioned noisy nights and prostitutes on the floors. Understanding this shady location now and seeing one on the stairs, we returned to cancel. The room was now hotter than when we first left. The at first nice front desk lady became short answered with a bit of a snarky attitude. She never once asked what's wrong, what happened, or apologized. She kept saying "you have to go through your 3rd party for a refund, I can't do it and they probably won't either!" Luckily I called Expedia and they were very understanding and helped me fully. Do not stay at this property.

staff was friendly and professional, but the pool, restaurant and bar were all closed for the entire stay...those amenities are why I booked the place to begin with, so that was a bummer...Also, our tv didnt work unless we held the remote directly in front of tv lol...

The property is being renovated. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. You need to be a little cautious when pulling into the parking lot as it is right next to a freeway exit and people seem to ignore the yield sign.

Property was on par for price range. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Breakfast was 1 star (very sad). Did not use workout room. Outside pool was in disrepair and has been for years. It was that obvious. Obvious signs of neglect throughout. I had higher hopes for a Wyndham associated property. Asian restaurant on the property was permanently closed. I got what I paid for. That's it. Property was convenient to good shopping and restaurants.

Much of the hotel was under renovation or just plain unusable. The pool was closed, half covered with a torn cover, and generally a mess. The laundry room was closer for renovation. The phone in my room had no cord and was basically a paperweight. There was often the smell of weed in random parts of the hotel from the lobby to the elevator to the hallways. The staff was friendly but that couldnt account for the overall mess of the building.

Their rates are cheap but beware of the $100 deposit. They were going to charge me upon check in and said I would get it back if the room was in good condition after check out. I complained that there was no mention of their deposit when I booked the reservation, the desk clerk said "we don't disclose that on third party sites." I have never had trouble with booking on this sure before but that's what you get from a hotel that also has weekly rates. It seems to have a hotel side and a separate apartment building for longer stays. It was already hot but their pool had the winter cover over it. It was not as advertised, the photos on here are not accurate.

So the hotel is old which is not the problem it is run down and rusted stair that almost broke loose every time you stepped on it. It looks like they were trying to upgrade or update but there is lots of work that needs to be done. Pictures were not accurate of the property.

Checked in at 1030p Room was filthy! Thick dust on bed frames & wall baseboards. NOT VACCUMED. Lights & TV didnt work. NO batteries in both smoke alarms sitting on tv stand. Poorly patched Holes in walls n door. Towel rack hanging half out of wall.Had room on 2nd floor and had to leave lobby & drive back to far back of lot to access in room pouring rain! People in adjoining rooms were yelling and argueing and slamming doors well into the late morning hours. At 7am when woke up saw a bug that looked like a roach crawl across the floor Mold in corners of bathroom Totally disgusting Will never stay there again

This hotel is unkept. The table, nightstands and TV console were covered in dust. There were several stains on the chair upholstery. The carpet is coming up at the edges. The worst was seeing a cockroach when we closed the fridge. We were able to catch it, showed it to the staff and was told the only other room available was one without a working A/C. We got the hell outta there. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Its so filthy its a health hazard.

Perfect location in Johnson City. The room was filthy. The floors in the room and bathroom had visible debris, rocks, and dirt. The shower had hair in it. :( I've never stayed anywhere this dirty.

There was pizza crust and rat poop piled up behind our beds, blood spots all over the walls and heaters, and the shower was dirty, our beds were made but once we took the covers off we could tell they weren’t washed(sex stain), the entire third floor smelled of cigarettes(we only went to the third floor). This is the only hotel I’ve ever walked out of and not to mention the stairs are everything but safe And to give you an idea of the cleanliness the phone was so dirty I didn’t want to call the front desk with it. My son said he’d rather sleep in the car than the beds. Stay away at all costs it’s horrific

There were blood stains on the walls, sheets had blue and red stains. The floor had not been swept in what appeared to be months. There were fake nails on the floor, someone’s pills!!! toe nails, food crumbs and just gross. The handle to the mini fridge filled with crumbs and dirt, The so called dresser/ entertainment center was filthy. There was melted candle wax on the table, ceiling peeling in room. Toilet didn’t flush. ADRIED UP DIRTY washcloth on top of the shower curtain. No towels, just hand towels in the room. The doors had been busted in and a make shift metal frame installed to support the entrance door. Celine’s peeling on all walkways, busted cement. The people staying next door screaming and yelling at each other rink pacing the halls back and forth past our window. The walls paper thin. The restroom floors disgusting. The sink did not drain! The phone in room had no cord to the handle. The fire alarm was off the wall and laying on the table. The cable to tv was fallen off wall and ran along the crack of the door. The place is absolutely disgusting and SCARY! We came for volleyball tournaments. Forgot to make reservations early and turns out NASCAR in Bristol this weekend too. $200 later on the most disgusting place I’ve ever had to stay, and still nauseous!!!

Filthy. This hotel is not just run down but it is not even close to clean. Baseboards bowing off the wall, dirty floors that obviously have not been mopped in some time. Dirt and dust in all corners of the room. Stained sheets. Carpet peeling up off the floor. Very gross and would never return.

Hotel was not bad, very worn, holes in walls, lots of wear and tear. Bed was comfortable. Would have been fine but not good sleep due to doors outside of room openings and closing all night. No sound proof, you hear every door open in hall opening and closing. Honestly never seen hotel built this poorly for sound.

Pros:The beds were clean and comfortable and there were clean towels and wash clothes. Reservation and check-in was easy. The facility was easy to find. Cons: There were stains all over the walls in the room and halls. Melted wax had been splashed on the walls in the room. Furniture was all wobbly, stained, burn holes and some broken. The room was so cold that we had to turn the heater up to 88 degrees and sleep with sweatshirts over our night clothes to stay warm. One side of the toilet seat was not fastened to the toilet and we almost slid off of the toilet a couple of times. There were holes in the walls in the elevator, some of the room numbers were on pieces of paper taped to the wall and most of the exterior of the building had trash piled up around it. I've stayed in Days Inn and Suites before and NEVER experienced this type of situation. I didn't expect this facility to be a 5 star hotel but I certainly didn't expect this. If we had been staying longer than one night (we were here for a funeral) we would definitely have found a different place to stay. This was a very disappointing experience.

Clean and comfortable enough, but the sink did not have a fully connected drain and would leak on the floor whenever used, there was a hole in the bathroom wall and the chair in the room had a broken seat, but it did have a mini fridge and microwave

It was ok for the price. Rooms are big, but walls and doors could use a wipe down. Not the cleanest. There was also a bag over the smoke detector. I probably wouldn’t stay at this location again. Though I will say, the staff was SUPER friendly

The rooms seem to be clean but did find 1 roach in the bathroom. The 2 staff i interacted where nice and helpful. The property is run down and if i was staying more than a day i would have left. One reason i booked the hotel was because it offered breakfast. To my disappointment there was no fresh fruit they ran out of biscuits for the gravy. Had a very limited selection of cereal snd a few yogurts. If you want an inexpensive hotel for 1 night i would recommend it but that would be all i would recommend.

Not well maintained. Outside stairway area very rugged looking. A shopping cart ledt by the stairway.A hole in the inside hallway carpet. In the room the door was dirty and the do not disturb hanger was dirty. But the room was comfortable and quiet and the price was right.

Property is basically best for driving to/from. Room Air Conditioner was SUPER loud. Belt squealed. Compressor loud. Definitely requires maintenance. I left my tools at home, unfortunately. I thought about asking for a different room, but knew it would take too long, as my check in did.

Staff were very friendly and check in/out was quick. The restaurant/bar advertised as attached to hotel is permanently closed. Room had a funky smell (like a mix of cleaner and old smoke smell) but everything looked clean. No tv remote so had to change channels on the actual tv. The microwave also had such a short cord it could not even reach the outlet from inside the tv stand it was sitting in. We had to place it on the floor temporarily to even be able to plug it in and use it. Ok for a short stay but would not recommend if you are looking for a nicer, updated place to stay.

The guy at the front deak in the evening was awesome. He was very kind but also funny. The check in process was very fast and easy. We were able to get a room on the 1st floor which made our trip even better. Hotel was big. The restaurant/bar was a very nice surprise. We ate there both days. Room was comfy. Shower was warm and good water pressure. The hotel as a while could use some updates but it looked and smelled very clean. The breakfast was nothing to get excited about. Some boiled eggs. Frozen sausage and biscuits to warm up. And some runny gravy. Yogurt. Cereal and toast. Orange juice, coffee and milk.

Very dated. Trash in floors and appearance was dirty. Breakfast was gone by 7:30am. When I first checked in I got a room that was already occupied and I walked in on them. When I went back they announced my room number in front of other guests. I was not comfortable with the stay as a solo female traveler

Wonderful staff who have been more than kind to me and my family during a hard time. Good breakfast. Large, clean, comfortable rooms. Tons of counter space in bathroom. Little to no disturbances or shady people. All around an awesome place for a great price.

When I entered the property I noticed the toilet seat had what looked like a cigarette burn in in it, one shelf in the bath tub bad seemingly been pushed down and the caulk had broken from the wall, the TV was awful, I couldn’t get a Roku or fire stick to connect to the internet and the screen seemed overly zoomed in. And on top of all that the sofa and chair was covered in disgusting stains. Not to mention the hall ways were cold and the front desk people were rude when I asked if I could get a different room so as not to be charged for damages I didn’t know if they knew about or not. When they said no I asked for a refund but couldn’t get it until I talked to the third party I booked the room through. Then they gave me exactly ten minutes to check out so they would approve the refund through the third party but given the attitude I received when checking out, I don’t know if I will get the refund or not. I will never stay with this branch again.

The hotel was okay, the restaurant and bar were very good. The service was prompt and courteous. The room was nice, the beds comfortable and wifi and cable tv were very good. The things that were a disappointment: the pool was closed, they were out of 'do not disturb' signs and our room was right next to a second entrance and we were awaked numerous times due to people going in/out all hours of the night and the door was Loud. (Our stay wasn't 1 night, it was 3.) The free breakfast was nice. The price was good and the location was excellent as it was directly off the Interstate and close to numerous restaurants and stores. We were attending a music festival in Bristol which was quick and easy to get to as the hotel was located on Hwy 11(20-25 min away from downtown Bristol). I will definitely use them again, but request a room far away from secondary exits.

Unfortunately, now that the namesake is licensed to independent operators, that is not the case at this Johnson City property. In short, this property is poorly managed, poorly maintained, and not a value at any room rate. Take yourself and loved ones elsewhere to avoid dirty rooms, unsavory characters lurking about the different sections of the property, and a noisy overall experience.

I felt truly unsafe at this hotel and despite booking for 3 nights I left after reviewing the property and the room. There were only about 5 cars in the parking lot but one was half stripped and burned out. The one guest I saw looked like he was on very heavy drugs. The pool was not open and looked it it had not been in a long time. There were numerous places where the overhead concrete in outdoor walkways was crumbling - and if a new piece fell it could have hit my head and killed me. Lastly the window in my room had been shot out. It had two bullet holes in it and a partial repair. It had plexiglass installed inside of the broken glass. I left and came back the next day to ask the manager for a full refund. He was not there and I showed the pictures to the person at the desk. Although the Expedia rating was not that high (about a 6.4 when I booked) I felt it was high enough for my budget and needs for a simple room. In my view the rating should be about a 2 or a 3 and clearly a lot of bogus reviews are propping up the overall score. Management never got back to me and I just called corporate to share the details and request a refund.

Ok listen. This hotel was an experience. I'm not gonna sugar coat it. This Hotel is going through a rough time. The pool was under renovation some rooms smelled like sweat, and smoke, but the room I stayed in wasn't horrible. The A/C kept the room cold, and the beds were comfortable. Let's face the music though this sweet little hotel has fallen on hard times. It doesn't have the traffic to help it get where it needs to be, or enough help to maintain a pristine condition, however, the heart is there. I was looking for a ridiculously cheap hotel just to stay a couple nights and this one worked perfectly. I didn't need a lot of amenities, or a huge crowd of people to be there when i was, and this hotel delivered. The staff were all friendly and willing to help with any and all problems. So if you're looking for a quiet, inexpensive place to stay for a couple of nights that is in the perfect spot to travel to anywhere in Johnson City, this is the perfect hotel. 😀

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was not open, the laundry room was closed with a sign on door to go to the local laundromat. The breakfast was terrible. It was microwaveable food. Nothing was prepared such as eggs, sausage or bacon.

Stayed for one night while traveling with my kids. One of the main reasons for picking this hotel was the location, breakfast and the pool. Once we got there and saw a sign stating that the pools was closed. When asked further I ws informed that the pool has been closed for a while as it needs to be fixed and "due to COVID" there is no company to fix it. My natural follow up question was why not just make it clear that the pool is closed on the website as it has been an ongoing issue. I was told "that is above my head." As far as breakfast, the choices included cereals, frozen omelet and frozen sausage patties. There were two microwaves with instructions on how to rewarm the meat and egg. Rooms were clean but needed some work

The lady that checked us in was really nice and helpful. It was late on a Friday night when we checked in and they were doing karaoke in the bar, but we couldn't hear it in our room, which was good, because we were tired. We had a restful night and the breakfast was good.

This particular hotel needs a lot of work to get it in good shape. When we checked in the first room we went to had some serious water damage in the ceiling and was leaking. We went back to the front desk and the two gentlemen were very friendly and they deeply apologized and gave us 2 rooms to choose from. The breakfast wasn’t much to look at, but it was ok. Overall, it is a place to sleep.
