It was neat they had a tennis court, mini putt, an indoor pool, hot and sauna. But the pool, hot and sauna were all out of order. Breakfast included was ok. The facility could use a paint job and the front desk were unavailable most of the time. I will not be staying there again. It’s unfortunate because the place has potential if some extra care was added.

Last year the facilities were disappointing, but this year we were amazed with all of them excellent and fully operational: pools, sauna, gym, minigolf, barbecues, tennis court. Dinner in the restaurant (bison burgers) was great and the server was happy to replace fries with tasty salads. We plan to come again.

An older facility but clean and friendly staff. We always stay here when in Parry Sound. Unfortunately the indoor pool was closed but the kids enjoyed playing squash, basketball snd the oytdoor pool.

Pretty big property. You can tell the building is quite old but the rooms were quite clean. The indoor pool was a hit with the kids, and there is a nice outdoor pool and pool deck for the guests to use. There is a small park for the kids and a mini golf course that although in slightly rough shape was fun for the kids none the less.

They had 2 fire pits with Muskoka chairs which is great to relax around and roast marshmellows.They had a BBQ for those who want to eat outside and a gazebo.They had indoor/outdoor pool,pool table and gym.They had ATV that you could rent.Also had a restaurant.One part of parking lot had not been paved but that wasn't a big deal.Property was clean.Room was clean.It had TV,microwave and small fridge.Close to the highway.Unfortunetly we were not able to use the facility and all it had to offer for our 2 day stay.We were there to visit the kid at their trailer and friends in French River.The weather was not the best on Sunday as it was pouring rain.It would be a great little getaway for a few days.

Staff are excellent. Room clean. Breakfast and restaurant are very good. Friendly people. Outside pool and hot tub were closed. Indoor pool was great. Room needs a comfortable chair for sitting. Office chair sucked. Over all we would recommend.

Liked the room, clean and comfortable, quiet. Big property, tennis courts, mini golf, outdoor pool, firepits. Breakfast is good, but all cold food, other than waffle maker and tea, coffee. Indoor heated pool area is old and dated, hottub not running.

This place for me was an ideal location to be able to visit family in the area for holiday weekend and have access to the many things to do outdoors in Seguin. This place was more impressive then I expected for a highway side motel. Room was impeccably clean. Lobby was large and simple - could have used a bit more furniture for sitting and waiting. Breakfast bar was REALLY good again for the price of the room. The courtyards were so cute with firepits and chairs, and I love that they rent ATVs for use. I didn't try the restaurant so can't speak to that but - staff was responsive with a barking dog issue. Big parking lot with lots of room for boats and trailers. And excellent highway access. Definitely would recommend as a place to stay while exploring the area. Lots to do on the old highway 69, where it is located.

It is very old and needs a lot of work. Carpets were very dirty as were the curtains. I had a terrible asthma attack that lasted hours. We could not stay the second night we had booked out they would not refund the night. They did finally agree to refund 50 percent but given the situation we were not happy. The bed was terrible, the pillows ridiculous, the tv sucked and there was zero water pressure in the shower. Was hoping we could submit some photos but doesn’t seem to be an option.

Amenities are there but no stuff to use, like golf balls, tennis, or squash stuff. The air conditioner was very loud will keep you up at night. The indoor pool was dirty, stuff floating around in it.

The room was in poor condition hallway door was hard to close same as bathroom door,the carpet was very badly worn ,the beds are very high too high for a shorter person,my wife had to stand on one of the crappy chairs to get on the bed,the repairs in the next room ended late and started early around 10 am . The Dining room was great friendly staff and the food was excellent

We were underwhelmed by the room we got for the price we paid. (Having said that, we understand it's cottage country in the summer and that we did not take advantage of the 'resort amenities' as we just needed a place to sleep.) The rooms are tired and basic but clean and the air conditioner works just fine.

First, let me temper this review with a couple caveats. It is an old facility, and a drive up to your room stay. It is not trying to be a five star stay. The staff was pleasant enough at check in and check out. The lady who worked breakfast our second day was lovely, and recommended a restaurant in the area. The room was acceptable for what I needed: a clean bed, a shower and a small fridge. Wifi was free and had good coverage for most of the trip. I would stay here again if I was alone as I was this trip. The room has had a refresh with an updated bed, artwork and TV, but the carpet was awful, the furniture was old and falling apart in places, the phone wasn't plugged in nor could I reach the outlet to plug it in, and they lost power for several hours in serious heat which also shut off the water supply. We left rather than stay during period because the heat was serious and with no power the pools were closed as well. It might have been nice if they had given a discount or something as an apology for the power outage, but didn't even apologize at checkout. Room for improvement.

Would have given 5 star except the front desk wouldn’t let my parents grab the keys before checkin time when they explained they simply wanted to grab the keys and check in early because they were joining us at Killbear and since they don’t allow check ins passed 10pm, they didn’t want to drove to Killbear and have to rush back before 10pm. A little silly. They were strict NOT BEFORE 3PM…but then the owner goes table to table the next day and asks for 5 star reviews from everyone. They said the stay was decent, lobby was updated and the rooms were ok for the price. If you want 5 star behave 5 star…giving keys a little early isn’t a big ask. Cheers

Rooms are a little outdated for what you pay. Breakfast is as expected, however, dishes get piled and left too long and items (cream, jam) don’t get replenished quick enough or they advise that they have run out (which is not acceptable in my opinion). Otherwise, great place to stay! Staff is friendly and complimentary firewood is a bonus 👌 Overall, 4 stars

Everything was great except the lack of property management. There was freezing rain which accumulated very bad ice which had very little salt put down once. It was extremely dangerous and caused a fall & shoulder injury when i slipped. I had to leave at 5am due to slip and fall, even though check out was not due intil 11 am

Hi there we just recently stayed on this resort and inn located in Seguin Parry Sound. It was nice, clean, safe and comfortable. The breakfast was always ready at exactly 7:30am several choices was given. The vehicle was registered upon checking in there was even a photo of a black bear with warnings. If you are a family with kids they’ll be busy with the pools indoor and outdoor together with the play ground. I would highly recommend this place be it with someone or with a family setting. If you are open to drive less than 15minutes to downtown Parry Sound to visit the tourist spots such as 30,000 island tour boat, Museum, plane ride and restaurants. This is the place for you.

Rooms clean and comfy beds. Ate at restaurant very expensive for what we had and was very hot in hotel and restaurant. They only had continental breakfast. Figured for the price you pay for hotel you think they would have eggs sausage bacon. Warm food we had to go elsefor breakfast. Nice property.

Hotel is wonderful. Breakfast needs work ie., They ran out of food, yogurt was frozen. Restaurant at Hotel was horrible. Took forever with no other guests dining. Food was terrible. Hotel charged me more than the quoted price I booked.

The staff and owner was friendly, beds uncomfortable, walkways, ill-maintained and treacherous amenities were run down or non-functional. Ice machine broken indoor pool not working. They compensated us. Restaurant served spoiled chicken tenders in a kids meal to my son.
