Decent room, courteous staff. The room looked very well cared for or recently renovated. Only downside is the limited pool access for children, swimming is not an option if you are not at the pool by 6:30 pm.

Really enjoyed our stay. Family room was plenty large enough and comfortable and clean. Staff really helpful and friendly and the breakfast was fantastic quality. Having the use of the pool and facilities really topped it off for all the family. We would definitely stay again.

Godd breakfast with lots of options. Room was great, spacious & beds really comfortable. Room 185 is a quiet room, you can see the road but no road noise. Great service: I had a problem with the hairdryer and after a call to reception, a lady from housekeeping was knocking on the door within minutes, with a replacement in her hands . We used the pool & jacuzzi, all good there. Changing rooms clean & well stocked, spinner for wet costumes was a bonus. Have already recommended this Hotel to friends & family. Good value for money, parking cosrs £6 per day.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Room was spacious and clean with good facilities, although slightly dated. Restaurant and bar area were also good and well used. Was disappointed to find on arrival that the gym was closed for maintenance. The hotel should have told this beforehand.

Good overall. Great location. Nice restaurant. Discount on meals if you don't have room serviced during your stay. A little tired in places but clean and good value.The only significant negative is the £6 a day car park charge but this was made clear at time of booking.

Bathroom had rust in the wash basin and black stains all around. Toilet had mould inside. Bath tub was blocked we had to request help from cleaning staff. We think these issues were old and the booking staff were aware of it we were given this room 108 deliberately.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the state of the room my family and I stayed in during our recent visit. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was far below what we expected and well beneath any acceptable standard. Upon entering the room, we were immediately struck by the dust covering the furniture and surfaces. The air quality in the room was so poor that it made it difficult for my family, including my two six-year-old children, to sleep properly. This alone is unacceptable, but the worst part was discovered in the bathroom. The shower curtain was in a horrendous state, completely covered in what appeared to be blood. The entire curtain was stained and filthy, making it impossible for us to even consider using the shower. This sight was extremely disturbing and shocking for us, especially considering we had young children in the room. The experience was so distressing that we will never be staying at Orida Hotel again. I feel it is important to bring this matter to your attention to ensure that no other guests have to go through what we did. I hope you take immediate action to rectify these issues for future guests. However, for us, this was truly a disgusting and unforgettable experience for all the wrong reasons.

Lovely stay at the Orida Maidstone. Room large and comfortable. Nice bedding and fluffy towels and very clean. Staff all very friendly so nothing to complain about. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel reception was well run and check-in went very smoothly. Our room which was on the ground floor was spacious, very clean and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed. The only down side was the complicated lighting arrangement in the room. In the morning, we found the breakfast well stocked with a reasonable range of item. All in all it was a very nice stay

Whilst the public ateas of the hotel were clean and updated the bedroom was old, tired and dirty. This was raised with reception staff who agreed and said they would 'pass it on' to management.

Reception was polite and helpful but room wasn’t Good for the money paid £160 for the night with the parking and the room was fusty smell. Neither windows opened and closed with ease, carpets was extremely dirty and very stained, we didn’t take shoes off until we went to bed. Carpet was also baggy in places, caused our toddler to trip a couple of times, towels was already wet in the bathroom with cracked tiles, which was concerning. Bed was comfy and very spacious

Checkout is 12pm, so why are cleaning staff banging on my door at 9am to clean my room, there's a hangar on the door saying do not disturb, bang on the door at 12pm if I haven't left, but not before. £6 for parking is a *iss take, parking should be free, this is just a money making scam. Reception staff are as miserable AF, if you don't want to be polite go and get another job. Hated this place and everything about it.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. Room was clean & tidy & everything worked ok ( tv, lights, shower) Room & hotel generally looking a little “tired” A fresh coat of paint, repairing cracked tiles on bathroom floor, repairing sink where the internal covering has come away making the sink appear dirty (it wasn’t) Replace/refurb carpet in hotel room. We have stayed a few times at the Orida and most rooms appear as “tired “ as our last one. No complaints regarding staff, food, cleanliness etc which have always been very good.

Great stay, the staff made it very personal for our special trip with a surprise card and a lovely pair of towel swans and petals. The pool was great for the kids. Breakfast did not seem quite as plentiful as our last stay but still nice. Would come again, rooms are really big and great value for money for our family of four.

Room is stuck in 2000. Scruffy round the edges. Water flow means it takes a few mins for the lacklustre shower to get hot. Towels are getting a bit threadbare. Good size though.

Overall a very reasonable hotel especially for the price paid. This former Hilton hotel is a bit tired and would benefit from a refit, however this is reflected in the price of the rooms, and it was still comfortable and everything needed for a business stay. Bed was good and a decent shower. Plenty of good parking on site, and good location. The hotel has some great facilities such as a gym and pool, and restaurant or bar, plus a Starbucks counter, so overall more than you get in a lot of hotels for a lot more money. I would definitely stay again, it is not the Ritz, but good value and lots of facilities. Plenty of nearby places to eat if the hotel menu doesn't grab you although a wide choice on the menu. The only thing lacking was AC, on a hot night this would not be ideal and most modern hotels have AC nowadays.

We were unable to have food but the restaurant looked nice. I thought the room was nice until I saw the back of the curtain and the window. There was a lot of black on the curtains through dampness I imagine It made me think it was not clean enough. The bed was comfortable for me but not my husband. You cannot please everyone. My nephew always stays there when he visits from Ireland and said it was good.

The room was indeed quite spacious, offering a comfortable area to relax. The bed provided a very pleasant place to rest and sleep. Unfortunately, the room lacked air conditioning, which could be an issue. The bathroom, however, would certainly benefit from some renovation and updating. Overall, the space had its pros and cons.

Three night stay to attend a music festival. The reception area is large, airy and with plenty of seating and has a great little Starbucks counter. The checking in process was flawless and staff were professional and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable albeit a little tired in areas. There was no AC but two fans had been provided which did the trick. The buffet breakfast was excellent, especially the cooked sausage! And totally set us up for the day. It is possible to walk into town but it is also on a bus route which stops across the road from the hotel. For what we wanted this hotel gave us it and more.

The property was very nice and comfortable and I would recommend staying here. The staff were very pleasant, the one gripe I would have is the bar/coffee area only had 1 member of staff serving so at busy times you could be waiting a longer time than you may appreciate to get served.

We arrived after midnight for an overnight family stay before an early ferry from Dover. Our 6 year old promptly threw up in reception but the chap checking us in was amazing. We tried to clean up but he insisted he would do it and despite being mortified he made us feel welcome. For what we paid, the hotel was comfortable, 2 large king beds, very clean, good staff and easy location. Would definitely stay again.

Saturday dinner served in bar area due to wedding being held. With the disco could not hear yourself speak. Not enough serving staff on duty for the dinner service. Quite long waits at the table and only one staff member on the bar. Had to fetch own drinks for the table. Breakfast had a good menu but the food was only warm and when placed onto cold plates it quickly became cold food.

Everything about this hotel is dissapointing, firstly this hotel is filthy - stairwells, carpets, rooms, you name it, it's filthy. Checkout is 12pm, so why are cleaning staff banging on my door at 9am to clean my room, there's a hangar on the door saying do not disturb, bang on the door at 12pm if I haven't left, but not before. £6 for parking is a *iss take, parking should be free, this is just a money making scam. Reception staff are as miserable AF, if you don't want to be polite go and get another job. Hated this place and everything about it.

Nothing to dislike here, stayed for 2 nights for a nearby wedding. I knew it didn't have air con, but fans were provided...360 days of the year it would not have mattered. The Orida is an older property that has been pretty well maintained over the years. The bedroom was clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was very dated with a mirror on the wall of the bath!! The staff were polite and helpful at all times, and the food in the restaurant was good too. Great location, easy to get to, good value for money. Please re-do the bathroom!

Very good hotel on the outskirts of Naidstone and with excellent road connexions to Europe on to London. Close by are railway stations, the famous Chiltern Hundreds pub/restaurant (recommended also), a shopping mall, and Mote Park. The hotel itself has very good facilities, is spotless inside and out, and in spite of its proximity to a main road and motorway, quiet. Our family room was spacious, had a mini fridge and tea-making facilities. The bathroom had bath/shower and was likewise spotless. Disabled/less abled facilities (not needed in our case, so this is from a non-disabled perspective) looked to be excellent. Recommended.

Lovely hotel, and a good price for the facilities. There was a wedding in the hotel, and I am pleased to say the late night music didnt travel. Good breakfast selection, being constantly replenished including GF options. Very handy as a stop off on the way to France. £6 overnight parking charge, but was very secure. I would stay here again

Overall, our stay was a positive experience, made before and during the Kent show.The reception staff were very helpful. The bar/ staff restaurant staff were excelllent. Our room was clean, spacious with 2 king sized beds. It was at the rear of the hotel on the first floor, above the vehicle unloading area (very noisy at 5am). Food was very good, including the breakfast. The hotel is in short walking distance to large Next and M and S stores, which is useful. My wife and I ate in the bar area and the outside patio, which was very nice with excellent service (this saves 8 pounds which is the service charge in the restaurant). We particularly liked the offer of not having the room serviced over a 2 day stay in exchange for a 20 per cent reduction in food and bar including alcohol.It was very hot whilst we were staying and air conditioning would have been useful as we could have closed the window ( see noise comment above). On the first night the women in the next room were very noisy and were loudly arguing in a foreign language until 0230 in the morning. This was not the hotels fault. All other nights were peaceful. In summary, we would definately stay at Orida Maidstone again.

The property was very nice and comfortable and I would recommend staying here. The staff were very pleasant, the one gripe I would have is the bar/coffee area only had 1 member of staff serving so at busy times you could be waiting a longer time than you may appreciate to get served.

Alot of hotels could take note of the breakfasts served here! There was soooo much choice! In fact i would say it is the best hotel we have ever been to for choice at breakfast. So thank you! Made my birthday extra special.

Lovely hotel and facilities, Had a meal in the restaurant for 3 adults and 1 child which came to £98 we had no starters and only 1 dessert and one drink each, my son paid and £10.90 service charge was added without asking, The glass of wine was over £8! Bit pricey for Maidstone and overall.

When you went to the hotel lobby, the deco fills you with optimism that the rooms are similarly looked after. This is not the case. The hotel looks to be a rebranded Hilton hotel where the investment has gone in redecorating the lobby and none in the bedrooms. What’s the bed was comfortable and the room contained all the things necessary to be able to stay away from home for a night the rooms are really dated. In the morning I decided to pay £19 for a breakfast only for it to be cold. The flavour and ingredients were superb. However the ability to keep that amount of food hot is an issue for the catering team having paid £19 for a cold hot breakfast I feel like I have been fleeced.
