There are really great trails around the property and walking distance to the mall. Could be cleaner, especially the outside area, and with a smoking area, and one of my stove top burners wasn’t working.

Average property. A lot of illegal drug use by multiple guests leaving unpleasant smell of marijuana in common areas. Large Air gap at bottom of rooms front door. Room Service nonexistent. Laundry room several machines not working properly.

They need to clean their outside and have a designated smoking area. One of the stove burners did not work and there was no bath tub plug. Otherwise, the hotel met my basic needs. The front desk service and beautiful surrounding trails made up for the other factors.

The property is an aging hotel and it shows. The parking lot had cars on jackstands that had obviously been there a while. The parking lot does not feel safe and has large puddles and breaks in the lot. There is no place for people to sit down and relax after a drive. Our room had roaches and was sloppily cleaned. The woman at the front counter was slow and gruff but got the job done.

The grounds have a lot of small trash around. My room door (which opened to the parking lot) had a 1" gap at the bottom, not covered by a sweep or anything. Easily a large enough gap for a small rat (and the snake chasing it) to enter and likely to make it hard to keep the room warm in winter and cool in summer. The electrical outlets were discolored--I didn't have the courage to determine whether it was water or dirt. The water and HVAC worked and the room had a small refrigerator/freezer. It would be okay for an extended stay as long as the outside temperature was mild, the vermin stayed away and you didn't mind the ugly chips and random paint splotches on the walls, damage to the bathroom door and generally run-down nature of the facility. I didn't sleep well in the bed, but that might have improved if I stayed longer (sleeping in a strange bed for one night isn't enough to figure out whether you can adapt to it).

Room looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the 80s. There were burn holes in walls. Holes in walls. Broken tv, lamp and cabinet. Found roaches in the bathroom. Dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at.

The room was infested with cockroaches. Dirty bathroom. Hair on the sheets. (That's was not mine). There was no trash can. When I booked online there was no mention of a $100 deposit until I arrived. The door frame was duc taped in place. There was no smoke detector (removed from wall). Smelled like mold and cigarettes. Do not recommend. I should have known based off of previous reviews but everything else was sold out.

Checked out within minutes of walking in the room. Roaches crawling on the bed. Marijuana & cigarette smell in the room. The entire place was filthy. I would have stayed in my car before i would've stayed there. I took pictures of just how bad it was.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Woman checking us in was very nice but we had issues with the rooms. 1st room reeked of weed. 2nd room seemed fine until after my event- I went to adjust the heat and saw MULTIPLE small bugs and roaches coming from the walls. Turning on the heat also set off the fire alarm. My friend and I had to leave & drive 6 hours back home in the middle of the night after an already long day. Room was also very worn down, there was a huge crack in the floor by the kitchenette. There were no blankets on the bed, just 2 very threadbare flimsy sheets that had holes in them. Very disappointed & grossed out

I am very reluctant to leave negative reviews, but the room was shabby, two stars, with burn marks on the floors and dining table. If you know what you're getting, you might be fine with it, but I was expecting a bit better. It was noisy in the morning; guests are not especially respectful of other people who might be sleeping.

Bed was hard, front door had a gap in bottom letting in all the cold air, tub wouldn’t drain properly, telephone didn’t work, bathroom had a missing door under the sink. Very noisy upstairs and blasting music in parking lot. My 10 year old was very uncomfortable and scared to go to the car.

I stayed at this Hidden hotel for several days as part of an interstate move. I enjoyed the convenience to shopping and restaurants with easy freeway access to get to work easily. The rooms were decent equipped with a kitchenette. As side from loud neighbors it felt relatively safe. The non smoking rooms were definitely smoked it. I had to change rooms after 3 days. The service was excellent Mark was professional, friendly and accommodating. He helped make my stay enjoyable that I ended up extending a few more days after moving rooms. There is a refundable $100 deposit that did take longer than normal to get back but overall the stay was okay. Not a fancy place but a good option for stopping through or starting over.

The hotel I booked for my employee refused to check him in last night at 1am after driving all day to get there. No one was at front desk. We called and they showed up 15 minutes later and said it was too late to check in. Excuse me? This feels like a Seinfeld episode. You can take our reservation, take our money, but you can't keep the reservation because it's inconvenient for you to check in a guest and hand out a hotel key? Absolutely absurd! They told us to contact Expedia for refund but of course they don't answer the phone for anyone including Expedia, so we just have to wait and see what happens. Awful customer service.

I had to wait over an hour to check-in after the check-in time just for the room to be dirty, have roaches, and my keys to stop working multiple times. No ID required to get new keys was very unsafe. No rooms due to overbooking made my group have to split between hotels too. Do not recommend this place

The check in process was long and the personnel working the front desk was overwhelmed and unable to the process in a efficient manner; room was not sanitary with bedding and floor with marks and smelled unsatisfactory; the pest control notice was posted on many doors but not explained upon check in; noisy at night; no housekeeping especially for bath towels and wash cloths; overall, quite disappointed

Front desk staff horrible at check in . Line was out the door , the older male was rude and mean to everyone . The black female tried to do her best . No rooms were ready and I checked in after 4pm didn’t get in my room until 5:45 pm, took over an hour to check in and fir rooms to be cleaned . Room has roaches , had stove but no pots or utensils , there wasn’t any trash cans provided and in the room or rug /enough towels for bathroom . Sheets were dirty , had major stains on them , we had to go to the office at 11pm and get new ones and change them ourselves

Room was ok overall. There were roaches in the room. There was a kitchenette in the room, but, no pots or pans to use the stove. There was only one bath towel and no bath mat until we went to the office. No on in the office at night. Property is out of the way in an area of apartments with no shopping within walking distance. The property has great potential, but, the cabinets in the room are made of particle board that is deteriorating from moisture damage.

Great location near a Walmart Wendy's mcd n chic file n breakfast restaurant. Dollar tree, cvs burger king. Wakemed urgent care all within three mile walk. Also ABC in that distance. Cato also for clothes

This place is fine if you can handle the noise and the less than great atmosphere. The price is right. Very affordable but not good for cleanliness. It served my purpose which was finding a place that is inexpensive. The room is like a little apartment with a full kitchen.

The staff was extremely unprofessional, both during check-in and check out. The room has a full kitchen, but it doesn’t include so much as a coffee cup to be able to use the kitchen. I actually had tea and coffee in my own bag, and couldn’t use them, because there were no cups, not even disposable ones. What’s the point of a full kitchen if you don’t provide the basics to be able to use it? If you don’t provide people a way to use the microwave to make coffee, maybe you should have a coffee pot. On the positive side, the room was generally quiet. The heat worked without making the room, unbearably stuffy, which is a problem I’ve often noted in other hotels.

It's cheap, but lots of permanent residents. Had a women stand outside of our door moaning, singing, talking, grunting at 5:30am. After an hour we eventual left. Spoke with front desk staff and they said she had a room. Staff not willing to rectify situation. Post states room with have coffee/tea maker. This is a lie. I asked front desk for one and they said housekeeping would handle. Never got one. Asked housekeeper when I see one and they started they didn't have those.
