Riverside is based in an idyllic setting on the banks of the river Severn. There is a giant outdoor garden with lots of different areas so you can always find a spot to view the river. The accommodation was of a very high standard and the service and care by both the staff and management was incredible. We will certainly return.

Great service from the off, I received a free update which was very nice after a long week. Room was spacious, clean, bathroom was nice and lovely towels. Bed was very comfortable and I slept extremely well (could of slept in) The room had a lovely view of the river

WOW! This hotel is absolutely gorgeous , I was so shocked when we arrived and saw just how beautiful the hotel was . The location and views are fantastic , the rooms are beyond spacious , clean and stunning. The breakfast was so yummy and the portion size was huge! Overall so so pleased with our stay and will definitely be booking to go again!!

Really couldn’t fault the Riverside bedrooms, food or setting. Staff friendly, and everything recently redecorated and spotless. Convenient for Shrewsbury, the Wrekin and nearby villages, but a car is a must.

Great location for exploring from, we stayed 3 nights as wife had a conference in Telford for 2 days was easy 20min drive to there from this quiet country location. We are one night in the restaurant as well as breakfast on two days all delicious and good quality. Drink selection was also great. Room was clean, quiet with a lovely view of the river. Would happily stay again.

A very enjoyable stay. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and there was a very comprehensive evening meal menu. We had a very pleasant stay and would stay here again when in the area.

What an amazing place to stay! We were made to feel welcomed and valued from the moment we arrived. The team are friendly yet professional. As it was our Ruby Wedding we received a surprise room upgrade from our second night. Our previous room was great but the upgrade room was simply stunning. We had planned to eat in the restaurant just on the first night but the food and the staff were so first class that we ate there each evening of our stay! Would throughly recommend The Riverside Inn and a big thank you to all who made our stay so special.

Stayed for one night whilst away on business, what an incredible setting to stay. Staff were amazing, helpful and polite. Even when the fire alarm went off, due to a fault, they couldn't have done more to help and reassure. Will definitely stay again.

Great location for exploring from, we stayed 3 nights as wife had a conference in Telford for 2 days was easy 20min drive to there from this quiet country location. We are one night in the restaurant as well as breakfast on two days all delicious and good quality. Drink selection was also great. Room was clean, quiet with a lovely view of the river. Would happily stay again.

A beautiful old inn with modern features in a setting that overlooks the Sevrn River. The staff is friendly and very efficient. The rooms are well appointed and excellently maintained. There is an elegant bar and restaurant where the food and drink was delicious. They have a great entertaining space outdoors where you can have a party or entertain a group. We had a fun and relaxing stay and would happily return.

A very enjoyable stay. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and there was a very comprehensive evening meal menu. We had a very pleasant stay and would stay here again when in the area.

Lovely spacious room with large bathroom. Comfortable bed. The restaurant downstairs has fantastic views over the River Severn and beautiful gardens. The food is well prepared standard fare - steaks etc. - but nothing gourmet.

Thie Riverside Inn was a great base fior us to explore the area. Room 2 was spectacular! Only one very minor comment the Full English brreakfast was delicious apart from the packet sausages, they were not in keeping with the rest of the breakfast.

Beautiful room in a stately inn. Delighted with everything. Just know that the "Breakfast" that is included is cereal, toast, and beverages -- if you want a full cooked breakfast it costs extra.

The room was spacious and very clean. We had a lovely view of the river from a large window. The weather prevented us from sitting outside on what looks to be a very well presented patio area. The restaurant area is spacious, with some views of the river. I do feel that more staff are needed as it took some time for orders to be placed. Bar area is comfortable and well maintained.
