Fantastic hotel in the most wonderful location and the most incredible view from the roof terrace. It was great! Staff were lovely too. The Plaza outside was quite noisy at night with people talking loudly which can be heard from the room. Other than that we had a fabulous time.

Very new and clean hotel room at the perfect location with perfect mattress! Everything was great, the only issue was that the bathroom is just a little box in the corner of the room and the sink is outside the toilet. Also the shower has no privacy because of the glass door. We were a little surprised by the size of the room and the bathroom issues because photos didn’t show them clearly. But other than that, everything was smooth. I was provided with free pass to the gym 10 min away which was nice.

Wonderful hotel. Great central location. Steps away from a subway stop. Room was decent size and very comfortable. No fitness room in the hotel but has a deal with local gym that can be asked about.

Excellent hotel, lovely staff, very clean. Rooftop pool is lovely although rooftop bar is a little pricey. Parking was secure and access instructions were clear and helpful.

The hotel is beautiful and clean, the rooftop pool is an excellent place to relax. The location is right in Centro & a close walk to many restaurants, bars & sightseeing places. Would highly recommend. We were able to check in early after arriving off of our flight which was a huge plus as well.

Parking is not at the property. Parking for a price is available. About 30 Eros overnight. There are plenty of good restaurants near by. The rooms were a reasonable size.

Great hotel in a perfect, central location. The receptionists were outstanding, always smiling and saying hello. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, despite being close to busy areas. There was a nice roof terrace too. However, do NOT order a drink from the ‘skybar’ using the QR code. I eventually got my drink one hour later after repeatedly chasing it and going downstairs to the bar/restaurant. The manager just shrugged his shoulders and offered no apology. He should not be working in hospitality. I don’t expect high standards for service, but that was shocking. Obviously, I chose to never eat there, even though I was staying in the hotel for 7 nights.

this time the room even if I took a superior had a terrible smell... and the window was locked.. so I had to stay in that smell.

La tele rota, lo comentamos desde el primer día y no lo solucionaron en 5 días. Limpieza de la habitación mediocre, lavabo atascado, sábanas malolientes. Me he quedado en este hotel las últimas seis veces que he venido a Madrid, pero la próxima vez probablemente cambie de hotel.

The hotel was great and in an easy to navigate part of the city. The staff were polite and helpful, and the room was in great condition. We did get stuck near the elevators and could hear a few people in the hallways late at night.

The hotel is located in a nice area. The receptionist is very helpful. They let us leave our luggage stored before and after our stay, which was helpful. The space for the toilet was small. The shower was spacious. The air conditioning did not work well. We were hot most of the night Spring and I can't imagine how hot it would be stay during summer time. The windows to the room didn't open up, so that didn't help with ventilation. But besides the AC not being great, everything else was really nice.

Noisy location with noise from the square - not well sound proofed. Was also supposed to get a bottle of wine with my stay and never did

Lovely hotel, nice decor and good sized room. We opted for plaza view which ended up being disruptive at night. We were woken by shouting from outside the club on 2 out of 3 nights so would probably choose courtyard view next time.

The room was clean and reasonably spacious, but lacking proper closet space, almost no shelves for clothes. Also bathroom lacking ventilation and there is constant smell of stail water. Big and comfortable terrace, very polite and helpful staff. Overall was good stay.

Great location, easy walking to everything in Madrid. The rooms were very nice but don’t have much privacy for the bathroom area. Traveling as a couple would we be ok, but hard for a family.

Horrible room design! The toilet is in a closet with no exhaust fan. The shower is a see thru glass cabinet that leaks water everywhere even after your done showering. The sink vanity is in the middle . A sink so tiny you can barely brush your teeth. Your modesty is in full display as you shower. Only good part is that the location of hotel was central to all sites and shopping. So if your ok with water leaking everywhere, a damp room and no privacy while showering this hotel is for you.

Ocean Drive Madrid offered arrival airport transfer but the driver did not wait for us despite 1 hour passport control and baggage claim delays. The driver never even entered airport parking much less stand with a sign at customs exit. The hotel did not apologize or otherwise do anything to get us reimbursed over €50. The photos of the lobby and rooms are not current or distorted to appear larger. A standard double is very small. The restaurant made us wait to be seated 20 minutes while jet lagged despite many available tables. The square is noisy. We were not aware of any evidence of ecofriendliness. We will not return.

Staff was amazing. We had an issue with our room the first night where there was leak in the ceiling and they handled it very well by moving us to a new room the next night. They went out of their way.

I lost my phone, left in taxi. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful and (along with a very kind taxi driver) managed to get it back for me!

El chico de recepción que nos hizo el check in no fue tan amigable, realmente compruebo el mito de América, en España no reciben al turismo de la mejor manera, son muy groseros, y aunque te puedan ayudar no lo hacen, así vean que estás perdido o en apuros.

Front desk staff Javier made it very comfortable even before our stay. With his help I also booked my train travel within the Spain. Morning breakfast is good. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Ive stayed here well over 30 nights in the last year and a half. Overall it is a nice hotel with an excellent location. However, Im starting to lose interest because it seems there is always something that needs to be fixed. The last 3 visits included lobby bathrooms without water, rooftop bar out of service, lights in the room turning on by themself in the middle of the night. So the maintenance of the himotel is slipping. And frustratingly, they spray huge amounts of scented spray at the elevators on wvery floor. You can see a smokey mist of chemicals always floating in the lights above your head and the smell is too strong. Besides...no one wants to breath chemicals. Get rid of that. Th staff is always very kind and should be commended. The sommelier Julio is absolutely fantastic. There is a little inconsistency with the service from bartenders - some dont pay attention and are a bit slow. It's a good place to stay but because I stay so often I'm noticing the details of what is failing. All fixable things.

I've stayed about 40 nights in this hotel in the past 2 years. I spend between 300-1000 on their wine list almost every stay. On this trip they couldnt even seat me at the bar saying they were too full. Poor customer management system.

Good area and amenities but inside the room spoon for expresso was dirty. Breakfast area staff daily could use customer service training. It was beyond below one star hotel. Very poor restaurant service.

It is one of the most wonderfully hotel I have travelled for over 70 countries. Because I felt so welcomed in this super convenient location. I was amazed that some of the details were so touching. The main light switches were clearly marked; “please take me home” kit was very cute and filled with all sorts of things for travelling; coffee maker are great quality, all glasses are sparkling shiny; front desk stuffs are so helpful for recommendations also arrange for the taxi, they all speak very well English👍； I can see that every details are showing, they are working hard to make our staying very pleasant. Thank you so much, and I highly recommend this wonderful place.

Excellent location and staff.

Excellent hotel location behind the opera house with the Metro stop right outside the hotel for easy access to use and explore Madrid. Hotel is really in a great area, you have shops and the palace less than 5 mins from the hotel, the main shopping strip a 10 min walk away with excellent restaurant options literally on your doorstep .Room was clean and modern and very quiet. Note* I did not get the free bottle of wine but I don't drink so I did not ask for it :)

Very nice hotel with an excellent location in Madrid city center. Even if located in the city center there is hardly any night time noice since it is located on a square with no traffic passing by. Staff was very friendly The bathroom was divided into small separate areas for shower, toilet and washroom which was a bit annoying. But overall impression of the hotel was really good. We did not try the breakfast since there are so many places to eat just outside of the hotel.

The location was excellent and easy access to the metro.

It’s a prime location where you can walk 10-15 minutes to get to anywhere in the Old Madrid city and wonderful food options! I would recommend staying here!

Friendly welcome on arrival. Staff were excellent. Good location, close to the Royal Palace and Opera Metro Station.

Overall the stay was nice, but note that the location of this hotel is extremely loud and across the street from a night club where people are loud and chatting in the street until 6-7am. And then “normal” life starts. So it is really difficult to get good rest.

Good location, good breakfast, room size is ok. Across from Opera metro. Walkable to many restaurants and shops. Safe area.

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The staff were all nice and accommodating. The hotel provides free water (sparkling & still) at all times in the lobby - they even include free bottles in your room. The room was clean, and they provided free amenities which came in so clutch (shaving kit, shower cap, robes, slippers, toothbrushes and paste, etc.). Our only complaint is that we wished their breakfast had more options. For $20 per person, we expected more variety.

Love, love this hotel! This is my 3rd time this year. Fantastic ambiance, amazing service and can’t beat the location. Breakfast is great as well.

The property is generally very clean and smells lovely. The staff on reception, especially the young women, are absolutely delightful. The bar staff are equally accommodating and helpful. There is however one area of the hotel that lets it down rather badly. That is the breakfast room and breakfast staff. Unfortunately there appears to always be just one waiter in the morning to service all the tables. This is totally unfair as it means nobody gets the four star service they expect in this establishment. For example, on our penultimate morning, there were at least 10 sets of diners and more were turning up all the time; the gentleman in charge of the restaurant could not get away from patrons who were arriving and needed to be checked off his list, in order to respond to the many bell sounds signalling cooked food was ready to be distributed. There is a great lack of explanation when one arrives for breakfast, which means people are confused as to how to obtain tea and coffee, hot food, milk for cereals, et cetera. I think this is because the person in charge of the restaurant simply has no time to explain how the procedure works. The other gripe we had about breakfast was that “hot“ food, was rarely actually hot. This situation not only arose from the bell being unanswered, but also from the fact that ones hot food was put onto a cold plate rendering everything lukewarm. A poor experience at breakfast meant we were never tempted to lunch or dine at the hotel.

The à la carte breakfast was reasonably priced and very good, as was the food we ordered for an afternoon snack. We loved the courtyard garden restaurant. The evening bartender made great cocktails.

Very nice hotel with all satisfactions of staying there! Their Michelin restaurant is great with foods and musics! Will stay again in next trip!

Loved it! We had a great stay! Walk to Mimi’s for breakfast if you have time! It’s delish. The rooftop has a great few- with slightly pricey drinks, but they were good!

Great situation for walking to all the top tourist places yet still within authentic Spain. Double terrace was great and cleaners kept a high and thorough standard Only complaint was the restaurant-very expensive-2 prawns 50€!!!Better tapas meals nearby so glad we only ate once. Didn’t buy breakfast!

The hotel is in a great central location, it was very clean, breakfast was one of the best I've had, the bar choices where really good, the room size was not bad considering is in the hart of Madrid even though we can hear the people talking out on the street. We liked the rooftop pool area, is small but perfecto for sunsets and wine. The only bad experience was a lady in the food service that mistreated my wife. personel like her should not be allowed in a position to deal with customers without the proper trainings, I think her name was Desire, we also had dinner in the terrace thrusting the Michelin signs posted on the outside, ordered the seafood rice, they dont call it Paella but is pretty much a paella, it was salty and not great, it was just edible. But again the bar cocktails where the best.They just need to work on the overall customer service part.
