Very close to the river. Beautiful area. A little bit concerned about their check-in system and how they cut the key using simply a confirmation number only (anyone can guess someone else's based on your own) - the hotel may want to re-think that system.

Sehr nettes Innenstadthotel mit super-freundlichem Personal. Mitten in der Fußgängerzone. Parkhaus nebenan. Klar- Schweizer Preisniveau, aber vergleichsweise preiswert.

An excellent property with central location to trains and busses but also in the heart of old town. Rooms are generously spatious and a sweet addition from the hosts is a free mini bar for coffee and light refreshment (beer, coke, water). Highly recommend!

Great location- balcony was fantastic. Loved the complimentary coffee/tea/water/beer.

Cute little hotel. Location was perfect. 10 min walk to the main train station/ ferry/ restaurants. Paid Parking lot is a 2 min walk. Enjoyed our stay

The check in process was fine once we got in the main building, but we had trouble getting in. There were so many emails I may of missed the entry code. Not a fan of auto entry.

Selvbetjenings minibar virkede super på bagrund af god gammeldags tillid, der var bare ingen oplagte steder at lægge ekstra betaling. Måske kan nøglekort kasse bruges. Vi havde et supergodt ophold.

No frills hotel (self check in & out), but it provided just what we neededed— a clean, quiet, spacious room with nice view of church and charming platz in front.

We never came in contact with a hotel staff member, so there was no one to ask questions if needed. The location was fantastic, but very noisy both late into the evening and early morning. The room was clean and comfortable, other than the noise keeping you up late and waking you up early.

Great location. I loved the room and all the extras—clean room and comfortable bed. Luzern is a tourist city, so why doesn’t the hotel use English? I received 5–6 emails from you, and I couldn’t understand any of them. The self check-in system doesn’t work. We were three different guests, and all of us had to call for help. Also, there’s no soundproofing from the hallway —you hear everything and get woken up constantly.

We came in very tired from our overseas flight. It was a very hot day. Check in has humorous because the innkeeper had her dog there and the sweet puppy wasn’t used to being there, and annoyed the old dog that the person in front of us had. She, the innkeeper was very sweet. We were super tired so we barely took in any sights before crashing. We woke up at 11:05 and scrambled to get everything together as check out was 11:00. The person who checked us out seemed annoyed or maybe ready for us to be gone as he didn’t ask how our stay was and seemed put out that we asked to leave our luggage for a bit while we went to find some coffee. The room seemed clean but it must have been the first day of fan use, due to the heat, because the partition wall to the bathroom had a layer of dust on it that snowed all over the floor in that area of the room. Lovely little hotel, but be sure you check out on time!

Clean, comfortable, quiet, and big towels! Good location close to the water and many restaurants. Staff could not have been more welcoming! Everybody was wonderful.

Hotel muy bonito, limpio, ubicacion excelente. No tiene en su cafeteria mucho de donde escoger para el desayuno, pero a 15 m están cafeterias y restaurantes. Muy recomendable.

We enjoyed our stay. The floor by the shower is wet due to the shower not having a door.

Great location, clean room, lovely balcony overlooking the square. Didn’t see any staff due to self check-in so didn’t know about visitor pass until a helpful lady at KKL told us about it (gives small discounts on some activities).

It was a fantastic location, small rooms, but matched our needs

Great location. Good size room for family of 4. They provide free water bottles and soft drinks, which is great. Room did not have air conditioner and did not have good ventilation. Romm has only one window which skis did not open completely, opened only 25% due to safety I guess . They did provide 2 table fans. But that was not enough on hot summer days of our stay . It was extremely uncomfortable.

The beds are very nice, the location is great, room is clean but there is no AC and the building in general is very warm, not recommended for a summer stay

overall, I don't like it and will not recommend it. it is convenient, however, the room is very small, without air conditioning. it was very warm. by opening the widow overnight, I got street noise as well as a large number of mosquito bites.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Schlüssel! The staff was incredible and made us feel like family. We appreciated that we were just enough off the beaten path in a beautiful courtyard with a church dating back to 1270! It was quintessential and relaxing. The train station was less than a 10-minute walk, making it perfect for exploring Suisse. They also had an amazing restaurant, and we ended up eating there all three nights. I can't recommend this hotel enough! Thank you, Hotel Schlüssel, for making our experience exceptional!

Selina was a star receptionist and made everything very easy and accommodating. Good location for walking and to the train station.

Really enjoyed the location of the Hotel Schlüssel in the old town area of Luzern. Everything is within a 5 to 10 minute walk, and it is just enough off the beaten path to be away from the noisy crowds in other parts of town. There is also a pay laundromat just a street over which was very convenient and we made use of during our stay. There is no onsite staff, giving it more of the feel of a personal rental. This was never really an issue for us other than requesting two room keys at check in and only being able to make one. As an aside, i made another later the first day which worked, but then the original no longer functioned. We really appreciated the fan in the room for our use, which allowed us to keep it comfortable during our 4 day stay even with moderate heat during the day. During the night we also kept the window open with the fan on to bring in cool air but the proximity to the church next door and the bells which peal every 15 minutes all night long made this not a good of an idea. Having the window closed really made this a non issue for sleeping and there is definitely a pleasant historical vibe to their consistency. Loved staying in the city for it's charm and location, and the Hotel Schlüssel just added to the overall enjoyment of our visit.

O quarto é de bom tamanho, limpo, muito confortável e possui cama com colchão e travesseiros macios. O hotel é muito bem localizado, próximo à Estação de Trem e as principais atrações turísticas de Lucerna.

Hotell med väldigt bra läge, men det fanns ingen air-con. Det var väldigt varmt på vårt rum och i frukostrummet, och det fanns inget kylskåp där man kunde förvara kalla drycker. Fönstret gick bara att öppna delvis. Den stora sängen i vårt rum gjorde dessutom att rummet kändes trångt.

Good location. Try to get a room near the front of the hotel as back rooms are very noisy due to bar on the street in the back.

It was amazing. Only thing I need an air conditioner or cooler. It was hot but I couldn’t open the window because smoking didn’t stop from the bar on the 1st floor. I couldn’t breathe if I open the window. I should be patient hot or smoke. It was so hard.

Hotel was good, not great. Rooms are very small and there are steps needed even with the elevator. There is no storage area for clothes, so living out of a suitcase was necessary but not wanted. That meant using precious floor space for open suitcases. Good location near the old city. Didn't try breakfast.
