Great location and the pool was awesome. We had a long layover after our Disney Cruise and this hotel was the perfect spot to spend the day. The rooftop pool is great, and the room was quiet enough for napping.

Recently stayed at this hotel for one night, before boarding a cruise. From start to finish, the experience was great. After arriving at the FLL airport, I called for the hotels complimentary shuttle service. The gentleman was very patient assisting me to find the correct location for pick up, and once there the shuttle arrived within 15 minutes. The hotel staff that greeted me at check in were so friendly. I arrived around 11:00am (4 hours before check in time) and they got me into a room right away with no extra charge. They also made a point to ask if I had any questions or needed assistance with locating anything. The room was very modern and clean. The room amenities were amazing... There was a clothing steamer which came in handy, and for all of my fellow curly haired women, the hair dryer in the room had a diffuser attachment (life changing 🙂). I walked over to the local diner for food (Lester's), which was a fairly short distance away, so that was great. For dinner I did Uber Eats (nothing against the hotel food, I just follow a specific diet and ordered from somewhere that I knew wouldn't be any issue). Check out process was easy and overall I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely would stay here again in the future. Oh, and they also have a shuttle to the cruise port that you can arrange right on the 2nd floor, it costs $12/person and was very helpful. Absolutely zero complaints.

I paid for a corner room. Ended up in a normal room. No actual bathroom door just a curtain. No bathroom vent fan. Shower stall was kinda dirty. The big thing is there is only valet parking. Cant park your own car. Craziness! Nice view from 13th floor. Looked like a new hotel. Property is very clean except for that shower stall

It was very disappointing. The view from the room was terrible, it overlooked air conditioning coolers. The external windows were super dirty with mud splashes, there were hairs in the bathroom, the phone didn’t work.

We booked this hotel for one night between our flight arrival and cruise departure. Our flight ended up being moved and we got in much earlier in the day than planned and the lady at the desk was amazing and got us checked into a room hours early. It was absolutely amazing! The room was clean, staff friendly, hotel and amenities nice. We enjoyed the roof top pool. And they had a third party travel group desk in the lobby where people were available in the morning and evening but also by QR code or phone to book super affordable transportation to and from the cruise port. Their drivers and representatives were amazing. We would highly recommend this hotel as a stop over fore a cruise.

Nice hotel - one year old. Traffic noise in rooms facing the intersection of Route 1 and 84 - excessive. A/C unit blows air directly on you while in bed - very loud on and off. Had to stack pillows to block the air flow.

Room was furnished modern decor. Different but very nice. My room was on the corner of the building on the 6th floor so I had full windows on two sides of room. This would be ideal except the soundproofing was not ideal and I heard traffic all night There is a rooftop pool and a bar which was not open when I was there. The lobby bar was super and Reese the bartender was very personable. The $12.99 breakfast was very sparse. The staff at check-in and checkout was great. I would highly recommend and I will stay again when in Ft Lauderdale.

It’s a new and well decorated property. However, there was next to no room between the front of the bed and the wall. There’s no way a family of 4 could fit comfortably. Additionally, the shower was across from the sink with only a curtain. The toilet had a double sliding door that didn’t close fully or have the capability of locking. I get that it’s Spring Break and Florida but it was NOT a $400/night property. (The drinks at the bar were good but took forever to get.) We appreciated the shuttle to the port but that’s an outside agency service.

HVAC system blows on your head while sleeping . Bathroom has no locks on doors ,was traveling with children and I couldn’t have private time wwhile defecating . Toilet bowl seat was falling off . First room we were booked into smelled of marijuana and they had to change rooms

Go to check In and they canceled our room due to overbooking and claimed they emailed us but didn’t tell hotels.com. So rude and sent us on goose chase for another room at another hotel at midnight. Would not recommend. Thankfully hotels.com helped us out but this hotel and the service is awful. Beware!

We had requested an early check in many times prior to our trip as we had a really early flight time (not booked by us). When we arrived we were advised there were no rooms available and to wait and they would let us know (which I understand sometimes it’s not possible, it’s what transpired after this that is irritating). We sat by the reception desk and overheard all the conversations had and almost every single person that came after us all were provided early check ins and rooms were available. To top it off, they had a “rock fantasy band camp” and did not advise us prior nor give us an option to cancel. We booked this hotel to sleep and because it was supposed to be convenient and close to the airport and cruiseport, had what looked like a wonderful pool area to relax. The music was extremely loud in our room starting from approximately 3pm and my husband went down and spoke to them on multiple occasions and was not offered any type of compensation. And by compensation I mean no offer to cancel and let us book somewhere else. Instead they told him “it will be over by 8pm” then when 8 rolled around and it was still shaking our room and heads they said “it has to be over by 10pm”. This noise and racket went on until midnight. We also did not get to enjoy the facilities like the pool because of this. Do better aloft, we had high hopes for our stay due to your brand and were seriously disappointed as well as your customer service and communication needs improvement.

Nice area and property well maintained. Valet parking was not professional. I had to get my own vehicle twice although I paid the full price for valet. The receptionist was very nice, she went down to the first floor to assist me. The valet person was not present in both instances.

Horrible, no contacted shuttle service number provided by desk to pick up from port x2 and was told they would call me back ...never received call back to use LIFT, and on day to depart was never told of any issues until we arrived in lobby to pick up shuttle to airport that shuttle wasn't working. Left to find own way at last minute to get to airport. Theyre never assited with other yransportation at all and front desk clerk was rather rude.

This was a really cool surprise the night before our cruise! Literally on the corner across from the cruise port entrance, this is a beautiful, modern hotel with large rooms and friendly staff! The pool is small and was crowded with kids, but a nice upper-deck area. Walkable to dining, and a gas station across the street for snacks. We loved it!

The hotel is very convenient for stays before/after a cruise. It is very close and convenient to the airport and cruise port. There isn’t much around as far as food. The area is a little sketchy but I felt safe at the hotel. If you are looking stay in Ft. Lauderdale I would choose a different hotel but if you are cruising this hotel is fine.

The room was clean, the staff were pleasant, and the shuttle service to FLL airport was very convenient. The only disappointment was the food at the bar. I ordered a burger that, frankly, reminded me of something from a school cafeteria—not what I would expect from a Marriott property. Having stayed at Marriotts around the world, I believe Aloft should hold itself to the same quality standards, especially when it comes to dining. Aside from that, it was an overall pleasant experience.

Only place to eat in this area is at the hotel and the food at the hotel was not good. Fish tacos are fish sticks in a tortilla. Drinks are good. Bathroom door provides zero privacy because it doesn’t actually close it’s a bifold. Otherwise hotel is close to airport and cruise terminal and clean.

Hotel location, staff and lobby all excellent. Breakfast is good, but procedure for ordering is a little unorthodox. Need to order and pay your breakfast selection at the front desk and then staff will bring out a ready meal or a plate and you need to prepare your own meal. My main complaint was with the room. The bathroom and especially the shower were not the best. The shower is very dated and the function poor. Ok for 1 night but would not stay longer.

Rooms were great and rooftop was beautiful. No one was working rooftop bar even though the sign said it was open. The restaurant is food from the bar and wasn’t very food. Hotel itself was very clean and nice.
