Very well looked after, great atmosphere in bar and restaurant. So comfortable.

As a pet friendly pub it was fantastic to have this man's best friend with me. A couple of muddy paw prints were waved away with a "Don't worry, they will dry and come up with the hoover." To top it off, I dropped some cash in the car park and Tanya is keeping it safe for me.

I stayed here to watch the Perseids meteor shower because it’s in the middle of nowhere and I’ve stayed here before. Unfortunately they ended up having a lock in at the pub which didn’t end until 2:15am meaning all the lights were on and I couldn’t use the garden to look for meteors as intended which was a shame. The food is pretty good but the staff didn’t really come over to so any check backs on my second night and I was trying to get there attention for ages to pay my bill. Once I did ask for the bill I was again left there waiting for another 15mins before I could get there attention to be able to pay. The sky tv in my room was broken and although I was offered a different room, the second room was so hot that I stuck with the first. The manager said he would look into the broken sky the next day while I was out but he didn’t appear to do so as it was still broken when I returned and nothing was said to me. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be staying here again.

Park We really enjoyed our 1-night stay at the Queen’s Arms. We arrived at 4pm to a warm welcome from the staff and headed to our room called Blenheim. The room was very comfortable which a gorgeous bed, a large bathroom complete with roll top bath tub, rainfall shower, lovely smelly toiletries and a gold-plated loo. Which we thought was ace. It’s not everyday you see one of those! The room had all the things you’d expect - TV, fast wifi, plug sockets near the bed, iron, hairdryer, and the largest selection of teas and coffees we’ve ever seen. We had booked dinner for 7pm so proceeded to head downstairs to the bar where we tried a few of the local ales. The bar staff were really welcoming and kept an eye on when our pints were running low - great service. The Six Nations was in full swing (ENG v IRL) so the place was alive with locals too. We headed back to our room to get ready for dinner, and we were not disappointed. Again, the service was impeccable. And the food was sensational. We enjoyed a great steak and one of the nicest beef pies I’ve ever tasted. After a great night’s sleep and a morning soak in the tub while enjoying the morning sunshine, we went down for breakfast. Again, we couldn’t fault the service and the cooked breakfast was delicious. Really tasty food. They obviously have an excellent chef in the kitchen. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again one day for some good old-fashioned great hospitality.

I stayed for 4 days during the week so saw two different teams of staff, every single one of whom was exactly the right level of friendly, approachable and pleasantly conversational without ever being intrusive. The food was excellent with a special mention for the mushroom risotto which was frankly gorgeous enough to end wars. The beer was well kept, the internet worked and there was always a parking space.

Comfortable bed. Good shower. Excellent breakfast. Very lively atmosphere in the restaurant! Insufficient car parking. Our room Bluebells faced directly onto the exit and car park and was noisy until late evening when everyone had left the pub/restaurant. Ironically I had requested a quiet room! A final bill issue where 10 percent had been added to the whole bill (room and meal) was rectified when I queried the additional sum requested. Overall I will use again and hopefully none of these negative aspects will be repeated.

This is a lovely old pub on the outskirts of a very nice village. The pub has a great atmosphere and the accommodation is modern, clean and smart. All the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant staff in the evening were especially good with great service. The food was also very good. Diner and breakfast were both very enjoyable. Overall we had a great stay!

A delightful country inn. We had a lovely room which was clean and quiet. There is a very good restaurant which serves a wide variety of delicious food. All of the staff were excellent.

Very clean, well equipped with tissues,hot chocolate and biscuits. Towels were large and fluffy, with good arrangement of toiletries.

Had a really lovely stay at the Queen's Arms for one night. Two of our party had dogs and the outside rooms were ideal with a safe area for feeding them and a nice sitting area for us. Footpath from the pub made walking them easy without the need to drive anywhere. The thing that stood out even more than the great food and very comfortable clean rooms was the very lovely staff and great service. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast too. We will return.

The room was clean, but it is an old property and your first impressions of your choice of overnight stay are not good. Dinner and Breakfast were very good.

We loved our stay mostly because the pub is outstanding. The food is really special, best meal we've had for quite some time and the service was excellent. The restaurant is very nice with tasteful decor and a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was also very nice and once again, very attentive and professional waiting staff. Our room was good, clean and with a very comfortable bed. The tea and coffee making facilities were standard. The view was lovely (picture attached). It was very quiet. The bathroom was ok but could really do with a little updating. It has a shower over the bath and to reach in to switch it on you either had to soak yourself or the floor. There was some black mould around the bath which is really easy to get rid of with a bit of bleach. It was a tiny bit disappointing, but only a tiny bit. I would go back again in a heartbeat for the food and the pub. Makes me tempted to move to the village!

The service was very good and staff very polite and helpful. There was only one thing was under the bed there was a lot of fluff that looked like it had been there awhile.

Friendly welcome, great location, very good food, the breakfast was up with the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The let down for me was that the room had been designed with no attention to what actually helps sleep. The curtains failed to block the light from the car park lighting and once that was turned off, there were LEDs on everything, no need to turn the room light on to see to move. I tried unplugging everything I could get to but one LED remained, a green one in the ceiling over the door - I assume an attempt to show the exit. After an hour or so of being disturbed by it, I found something sticky, the tab that held the soap wrapper on and stuck it over the LED. This reduced the brightness from solar to maybe bearable. It reminded me that I must take electrical tape with me when I travel.

What a lovely place! We upgraded and had the room with a large spa bath. I would recommend that for anyone who is staying for a leisurely stay as the bath is amazing! The rooms are a good size, has all the amenities and clean. The attached pub has a good selection of food, and everything we had was really good. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was really tasty. Overall it would be unfair to give less than a 5 as everything was amazing and lived up to, or surpassed, our expectations. Highly recommended

A real pub with good atmosphere, warm and welcoming. Good restaurant with decent menu. Rooms a little small but good facilities.

It was a lovely stay although we werent there that long as we were attending a wedding. Only criticism was that the room was very hot. Breakfast was great.

Very pleasant staff with evening meal and good breakfast. Rooms are pretty good and bed was comfortable.

Excellent stay in Many Clouds room (unlike Bluebells on previous visit which was noisy, uneven floor, involving stairs). I cannot fault any aspect of our stay and would like to stay in this room again when we rebook for a return visit in November if at all possible please.

Cute little place in a nice location. Nicely decorated and comfy room. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Lots of noise with little soundproofing till about 11:30pm from kitchen downstairs and banging doors so don’t expect an early night! Room was hot even though temperature outside was mild. Overall nice stay but would request a quieter room if possible. We stayed in an upstairs room

Wonderful country pub and accommodations. House staff , sarah ( in particular) very very kind ,understanding and helpful. Billy ,am wait staff , efficient, quick to offer solutions.. very kind and bright… will do well whatever path in life he chooses

My husband and I had an overnight stay at The Queens Arms. Lovely rural location with friendly staff and excellent food. It was a Saturday night and the bar and restaurant were buzzing - we loved it! Very comfortable bed.

It’s lovely and quiet/peaceful. Nice garden to watch the stars with no light pollution. The pizza on Sundays is delicious, very nice breakfast and the staff were really friendly. I would definitely go back again.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Food was delicious. Room was comfortable and warm. Good selection of beers and wine. Surrounding countryside is scenic and good for walking.

Really lovely countryside pub and hotel. We were in the area for a wedding and they kindly allowed us to check-in slightly earlier which we really appreciated! Lovely breakfast in the morning and great shower. Perfect pub hotel for a stay in the Lambourn area!

Stayed here for work for 2 weeks. Ideal location and reasonably priced. We had a room called Suny Bay, plenty big enough and clean enough for our stay. The bar staff Olly, Carly, Amy & Adrienn were fantastic during our stay, very friendly and accommodating. Bar is lovely and food is decent, especially the Cajun chicken burger. If I were to pick on anything it would be the breakfast, we had full English every day for the first week and each day the portion sizes were different, never the less the breakfast was nice.
