Room was clean and tidy. It is an extended stay, so there is no breakfast offered. If price is your motivation, then this place is worth the stay. Easy access on and off the freeway. Good parking and a quiet location.

Parking was great

Staff was very nice and friendly. Chose to stay because of laundry room facility. Good working order and fair prices. Room was worn, tired looking, and needed a good sweeping.

This hotel is right by the transit center but is behind a nice green space which keeps it quiet. My room was clean and they have a sparkling and affordable laundry room. Great value, especially for the Seattle area.

Terrible decision to book this hotel. Was not granted room at check in time, room was damaged and dirty, Wifi is not existent on lower level. Extremely bad smell and smoke. Plenty of people loitering on property. Told to park in view of cameras to limit break in on vehicles. Damaged vehicles on premises. Asked to cancel booking but had to wait till 7pm for manager. When management arrived informed too late to cancel had to pay part of booking. Will never book again. Don’t stay here it’s not safe in so many ways.

The doorjam on my door felt really loose and came out when I first opened the door with the jam flipped on. I got a new room immediately after. There were also several unsavory figures throughout the hotel that caused me to be unsure about safety and security of the establishment.

Property was good and clean. But at parkimg loat workers were working and there was power cable on the road and they kept wood bar on the top. They was no pylon and my mom fell. When i notified front desk, she didnt even care.

The hotel was conveniently located for our trip. Easy to get to from the freeway, and the surrounding neighborhood felt safe. Staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds appeared to be clean and well kept, although we eventually noticed that other folks were not cleaning up after their dogs and many of the grassy areas smelled pretty bad. The rooms are very clean, it's obvious the cleaning staff is doing a great job. The only possible negative is that the rooms need a little updating. Our room in particular had some minor issues like broken tiles, a large gap in the wood flooring, the finish was peeling off the tub, etc. It was all cosmetic, and easy to look over given that it was cleaner and safer than you would typically find at this price point. Overall a great place to stay if you're traveling on a budget.

Clean, and friendly staff BUT there are cockroaches in the bathroom. Like a minimum of 15 SCRAMBLED when I went in and turned on the light. Wouldn’t stay again based on that alone.

Gross room that was clearly not fully cleaned. Microwave had lots of food remnants inside

When we walked into our room, we were immediately slapped in the face with a “dirty old sock” odor! The little piece of carpet in the entryway was soiled with who knows what type of liquids. To top it off, I found a live roach inside the refrigerator!!!!!

On My Last Night, Once We arrived at the Room we came to find out it was filled with cockroach’s! I have various videos,, showing MULTIPLE TIMES that there was Cockroaches over the room,, Like kitchen, Bathroom, and even in the refrigerator, we had to get rid of the food we had got and none of it was finished that’s more money down the drain,, We didn’t get another room tell 12-1 am and even worst they put us two rooms to the left of the previous room, I don’t think that made a difference to be honest but being our last night we didn’t have a choice,, we had to gts very late and we had a long drive in the morning,, is there some sort of refund I can get or maybe one complimentary night? It was honestly very nerve racking and disgusting, we had goosebumps and bad vibes pretty much the rest of the night & didn’t get good rest,, I WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR THE STAFF WAS NOT A PROBLEM THEY WERE GREAT AND HELPED THE ENTIRE TIME, But the cockroaches not so great!

Dirty

They had cockroaches. I found two. I had to check out a day early. I also believe that they had some type of other illegal activities going on. There are lots strange and questionable people in the parking lots. Lots of police in their driveway and parking lot.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in my entire life! They gave me a dirty room, when I entered the bathroom, there was hair everywhere, in the bathtub, on the sink, in the toilet, on the floor, and there was hair and dirt everywhere in the room, it's a lack of respect to give such a dirty room for a guest, even if the hotel is more affordable than others, it is not right to give the guest a dirty room… Even the bedspread was full of hair.

Room dirty and smelled terrible. Couldn’t stay. Checked out. Went to another motel. They gave me a full refund. Which was unexpected.

I booked a stay for 5 nights but couldn't make it past one. The smell of the unit was so strong and awful, it smelled like the inside of a gym shoe. Additionally the bed was stained and dirty and when I pulled back the blankets there were hairs on the sheets. In the bathroom the towels were stained and there was dirt and grime on the walls. I overheard another guest asking for a change in room when i arrived citing the strong smell, this lead me to believe all units had this awful smell and are generally as unclean as the one I stayed in.

Room was ok... internet did not work in the room for av while week.. staff didn't care

We had stayed here one other time maybe 2 to 3 yrs ago and it was a good experience. So we decided to stay again....and this time not so much. We stayed one night. We woke up almost every hr or 2 due to the uncomfortable bed....worst sleep we have had at a hotel in a long time. It is also in need of some maintenance. There was some damaged walls.....flooring needed some work and the shower curtain rod was really loose and shower curtain wouldn't stay shut. They also dont supply shampoo or conditioner. The staff were fantastic tho!! Had us checked in very quickly...and also let us know that wifi on bottom floor rooms isn't very good....and in room #64 .....we actually had no wifi at all...which was fine cause we just used our data instead.

Coffee maker was dirty, bathroom had peeling paint, low water pressure, barely any hot water. Bed slides all over the bed frame. No toiletries, no hair dryer. One very thin blanket on the bed. No parking available when I returned for the night (obviously not the hotels fault)

Upon arrival at the desk the first thing we saw was a sign that their WiFi was out. This sign looked like it had been there for some time. Our room, #64, looked like the furniture was sourced from Goodwill, the black kitchenette counter had a crack in it that was filled in with white caulk. The back of the bathroom door looked like it was eaten by a dog, there were numerous holes in the walls where it appeared pictures once hung, and the light switch by the door didn't work which made fumbling for a light at night fun. Outside our door there was dog poo in the rocked landscaping. Basically this place is a dive. No wonder it was so cheap.

We just needed a room for the night and this was affordable. The area had a lot of bugs so they were getting into the room just by quickly opening the door. The beds were not comfortable at all and the pillows were flat. The fridge was a good size as well as the freezer. There was a toaster in the room as well but when we tried to use it, it started smoking. Not sure we would stay there again.

Poor wifi on property and washroom can be improved.

Rooms are very old and in need of repair. Air conditioner barely worked and was in extreme need of maintenance. The shower rod was falling off the wall, there were two giant patched holes in the bathroom door and many other obvious patches in the walls. Just did not feel to me like a clean well-kept room.

Everything was great but room 150 had mold on the ceiling and wall by the front window. Room smelled musty.

Heater was missing the cover. The air blew across the bed. Got a stiff neck. House phone didn't work. Bathroom light burnt out and they put in a new one that strobed for 5 minutes before it went on. Housekeeping was every 3 days. There was no broom to sweep was not good. Bed slides around on platform. Dust and dirt in heater discharge.

Check-in was a nightmare. Three employees present yet only one of the three was actually working—despite a lineup of four guests. Otherwise, good value for the money. And for the uninitiated, Mountlake Terrace is NOT Seattle. Getting downtown via the rail is easy, but takes over an hour all said ✌️

Rude morning shift.

Quiet property, convenient location to a grocery store, movie theater, gym and the metro rail into the city! Staff were kind and friendly and answered any questions I had quickly. We didn’t have pets but saw lots of pets that were welcomed on the property also. I would absolutely book with them again

Great staff and support

Check in is ridiculously slow and a big process, got to room and smelled bad like human puke. Called front desk they told me cleaning staff went home at 5pm (it was 445pm) so just open a window. Tried to talk to manager but he he only works 10-3 I was told. Checked out before 10 so I called but he was not available, left message but no return call. Avoid this dump

As another reviewer pointed out…”you can definitely do better, look for a different place to stay”. The staff were rude, poor customer service, office always locked and then when you call office they lie and say they are there and doors were unlocked. Checkin was a nightmare. We were there at 1:45 in afternoon to see if we could check in early. We were told strict checkin time of 3pm. So we waited. They assured us that our three rooms would be grouped together, upon check in they were not and only one room available. We had to wait for the other two to be cleaned (after 3pm). We got our second room around 4. We had dinner plans in the city that had to be postponed in order to get into our 3rd room which still was not ready by 5:30! We were not leaving without getting a room because the motel was full. We didn’t end up getting to eat dinner until 9pm downtown. ***only good thing about this motel- the location to lite rail was very convenient and 5 min away with free parking***. After the first night, we needed to ask to switch rooms due to the thick smell of mold after running the bathroom fan Room 217. I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst headache. The bathroom was not clean. My daughter refused to shower. Mildew covered in shower with thick layers of silicone. Chunks had been cut out of ceiling to remove water damage, patched and painted. The bathroom fan vent looked like it had been dipped in brown cotton candy with the amount of dust! Cockroaches!

I had a terrible experience here: they charged me extra $150 after I checked out. I called back to ask why, and the manager said I smoked in the room, but I am not and have never been a smoker. I did not smoke in that room at all. When I asked for evidence of smoking, the manager said they had no evidence, he just thought I smoked in the room and wouldn’t refund the $150 to me, and then he just hung up the phone without giving me any time to speak. So ridiculous! So rude! Be cautious, you may be charged extra money for something you never did.

Staff are very responsive to any concerns and happy to help. Room was simple but had all I needed. About 10-15min walk to link train, also a bus stop very close by. Coffee shop and pizza place within walking distance.

Clean, convenient parking, not noisy. Rooms themselves are a bit worn down, but nothing terrible, pretty fair for the cheap price. Really nice that the rooms have kitchenettes, especially a decently-sized fridge. Mountlake Terrace transit centre is nearby, has free daily parking (or you can walk to it), makes it easy to get into downtown Seattle, the stadiums, or the airport, all via the Link light rail. Would consider staying here again the next time I'm in Seattle for a concert.

Really appreciate that that rooms have kitchens. This location is very close to a large grocery store and close to the highway.

Was in a nice area about a 10 minute walk to the train station and had a cute coffee shop about five minutes away walking which was also on the way to the train station

I don't want to gush too hard, cuz then everyone will find out about this hidden gem of a hotel! Great price, great location, quiet, clean, SAFE, and just 20 mins north of seattle city. I was weary on expectations for something of this price range since seattle is $$$$$. The room was clean, the sheets are white, towels are white, no bugs in the rooms (unless a mosquito followed you in), fridge is cold, freezer works, shower has great water pressure and towels are fine...what more can you ask for?!?! Cons are slow wifi (can buy faster wifi for $10/week, but you buy the code at the front desk and then plug it in every few hours to tje browser when it disconnects...annoying, but works), and while i was staying there, there were a few unsavory guests whom the hotel staff dealt with VERY quickly and seems to have a zero-tolerancy policy, which made me feel very safe! The other guests were all very quiet and seemed to also be passing through. I hated my stay here so much, i booked 4 additional days LOL!!! :-P

Room small but has everything needed to stay on vacation for a while. Neat and staff is helpful and kind. Market store for groceries walking distance eateries bus and train near by. Thank you God bless.
