The hotel was very accommodating. Very clean, prompt and friendly. We were a little disappointed the hotel pool closed early, but it was minimal in a big scheme of things. Overall, we had a great time and a great experience and look forward to going back in the future.

I would not stay here again. The room was small and dark, the TV in the room did not work and the wifi was spotty. We didn't have soap or shampoo, had to call to get these delivered. The pool was closed for maintenance, yet I was charged an additional $60 per night (beyond what I paid through Hotels.com) as a "resort fee". This place was a total rip off.

Terrible internet in the rooms, none of our Android phones could connect, when you complain at the front desk they give you a number to call, they have a third party that supposedly runs the network and will run you through the settings. Didn't bother, an Apple device connected well but was getting logged off every few hours. Quite ridiculous for this scale of hotel, but they do give you an option to pay extra $20 a day to have a fast connection... Really, this day and age? Sorry but we found it somewhat cheap. Another issue, their swimming pool closes at 5:00 pm, just when you're ready to cool off after a hot afternoon on the town, go figure...

Check in was easy, elevators are a bit slow but functional. Room was clean with a few exceptions, sink drain had to be manually adjusted and when open had a sewer smell. Shower was a bit tired, needs updating. Bed was comfortable. Top of the world restaurant is 11/10 recommended, get the crab-artichoke dip. The view from the tower is great during the day, breathtaking at night. Gym was nice but would have liked a spa or steam. Just a preference. Atomic Golf was fun. Overall a 4/5

Pool was gross. Service was awful. $50 to check in at 2pm instead of 330pm. Sales people selling you before you walk to your room. The single zero roulette and 10x craps that they advertise were both closed.

The hotel itself was clean and well-kept, and inside everything was fine. The pool setup wasn’t ideal for tanning — most lounge chairs were in use by people enjoying the pool, which is understandable, but it made it tough to find a spot unless you were swimming. Not a deal-breaker, just not great for sunbathing. The real issue was the surrounding area. Outside the hotel felt unsafe, with a heavy presence of homelessness and drug activity, and it didn’t feel comfortable walking around the property. That alone makes us hesitant to stay here again, even though the inside of the hotel was fine.

I made reservations and paid extra for an upgraded/remodeled non smoking room. Upon arrival, the room was not only old and grungy, definitely not remodeled. But the sheets were so old they had rips in them. The end tables had large chunks missing, the air conditioning unit door was missing causing the ac to blow directly into my face while attempting to sleep. The room came with a coffee maker but they don’t supply the water! “Exact words from the front desk! No paper or pen for notes. The bathroom sink drain smelled of sewage and the toilet clogged. I have never been so disappointed. Only gave a poor because the employees were very sorry with the look of its the management! I had to leave my identification to use a luggage cart! And then couldn’t check in without my id! No bell hop to help. Two years ago I stayed here and had a beautiful time. What happened

A let down for sure... The beds were worn down. The bathroom had mold stains on the ceilings and the base of the bathroom door had evidence of some flooding, i.e., the base was curling and chipping away. No hand or wash cloths were provided.

The first room we were given smelled strongly of mold and cigarette smoke. We ended up paying extra to upgrade to a renovated room, which was somewhat better, but cleanliness was still lacking. I would not recommend this hotel—it’s in an unsafe part of town and has a strange overall vibe, which we only discovered after arriving. Expedia lists this as a 4-star rating hotel, but it does not live up to that rating. The only highlight was the Chi Restaurant, which served amazing Asian food. The back of the hotel is very unsafe.

Ok. So you get what you paid for, right? don't expect to be a top level hotel. Is worn down and hast pretty basic standards; although there were 2 things that really got me: 1) The bathroom door has a gap of about 2 inches (it is a barn door). So forget about popping or showering in full privacy; all noises, smells and also for the people outside: 2) "free internet" (which only applies for 2 users) is a pain. I had to call front desk, whom sent me to a third party (front desk was not able to do anything for me) and this third party kept me in line for more than 20 minutes. Although they were able to reset the service (I Had to provide IP address, etc etc) it was not a good experience for my vacation. The hotel covers the basic for a cheap price; so it really depends on your budget.

My stay was good overall. Clean room, easy check in. No real issues, except for the PAPER THIN walls. I could hear EVERY conversation from every room, even across the hall. Being Vegas, people were coming back very late being loud and I was woken up multiple times each night of my stay. I wouldn't stay here again due to that, I need my sleep :)

The room: the water in the shower was so slow and light it took for ever to shower. The shower didn’t have a door. I had to upgrade from the original room because it didn’t have a coffee maker and a fridge. The coffee maker wasn't working properly and I had to stay there holding the handle. The room didn’t have a view. Very disappointed

Didn’t get breakfast but paid extra for upgrade, room was clean except for dirty worn carpet but most outlets didn’t work for charging, no shower gel in dispenser even after I told front desk. Staff was fine but hate see what it would have been for standard room!

This hotel has seen better days. The mattress felt like it was 100 years old. The room was in desperate need of some updates, crooked light features, our air unit set off the smoke alarm due to dust in the heating elements (it gets cold in the desert at night) and the amenities leave a lot to be desired. At over $1,300 for two nights I at least expected coffee in the room! The Strat is a prime example of the sad state of the whole city! I surrounding area looking a bit like something out of mad max! I’d avoided this place unless you need something local to the festival grounds, which we did. For that, I guess, it is what it is

The upgrade room was a typical standard room that should have a refrigerator and a coffee maker in it and not have to pay thirty dollars to upgrade your room.Just to have those... The floor was buckling, so it wasn't even put incorrectly, and there was tape on the baseboards.... The beds are hard and uncomfortable... The t v didn't work most of the time because they were doing service or something was going on with the tv.... There was no shampoo, shower or body, wash in the shower.Itself, but there was connections for them to be there... There was no assistance to help you with your bags. If you needed and we did not request any made service.So I cannot comment on that.... The parking situation was another whole issue because we were in a rental but my partner was a Nevada resident. So we had a tough time having the rental taken off of the parking QR Code and removed so that the parking could be free. There was an issue every single day with that, so we ended up just doing vallet the last day.. I was scheduled to stay there for a week but I left two days early.

I paid to upgrade to one of the newly renovated rooms and my view was of the wall so that was very disappointing. Also, our AC wasn’t really cold compared to a friend of mine that stayed a couple of rooms down. Other than that it was ok.

The room was beautiful and spacious. The shower didn't work very well and the view was horrible. When going to this hotel make sure you are on at least the 10th floor or higher. Otherwise you get a view of the ac system and the roof. The bed was hard.

Check in took awhile. Room was ok but nothing special for an upgraded deluxe room. Bathroom sink smelled bad the entire stay. Housekeeping was barely available so we had to fetch our own towels and stuff we needed with the exception of 2 nights. Felicia from Housekeeping was a blessing and the inly help/service we received. Signed up for rewards program and it was pointless bc every time i presented it i was told some run around that i had to go somewhere else to receive credits. Its so inconvenient its pointless. Lots of staff in casino pushing the sale of event tickets every time you walk anywhere. However the hotel was decorated beautifully, valet was great w friendly staff, top of the world had amazing views and i loved doing the sky jump!!

I’ve stayed at The STRAT many times over the years and always chose it as my go-to spot in Vegas, but this recent stay was extremely disappointing. The room felt neglected — the TV didn’t work, the toilet was broken, and overall the space lacked the cleanliness and upkeep I’ve come to expect. What made it worse was the attitude of management. When I asked for help, the response was dismissive and downright hostile. The staff clearly need better customer service and de-escalation training. It’s unfortunate, because I’ve always enjoyed staying here in the past, but after this experience, I’ll be looking elsewhere in the future.

The room was clean. The front ofice at check in was rude. I paid for resort fees and the pool was closed therefore no "resort" and $20 a day for parking my rental car. Guests should be able to park free regardless of what license plate is on the car. Front office stated only Nevada residents can park free.The bell service was awesome.
The room was clean. The front ofice at check in was rude. I paid for resort fees and the pool was closed therefore no "resort" and $20 a day for parking my rental car. Guests should be able to park free regardless of what license plate is on the car. Front office stated only Nevada residents can park free.The bell service was awesome.

We were placed in the wrong room at first, which was also dirty! We moved rooms, no issue, but days later we were woken up to fire alarms going off 3 times between the hours of 5 and 6 AM when it was only a water leak. Only one rude bartender who wanted to ID for WATER. Not even sitting at the bar, but would not give out water without an ID. What if someone had passed out? This was a 5/10 at best.

I would have given this hotel a 5 star, but we had a terrible experience on the last day. The hotel was trying to charge us a smoking fee of $575 because their sensors detected smoke 2hrs before our check-out. Myself, husband and parents stayed at this hotel and none of us smoke. The manager told us I would need to dispute the charge with my credit card and I told him I wanted law enforcement involved. He told me to go to the security, which I did to file a report. As I was filling out the report, they sent me back to the manager and the fee was reversed. I am glad that they resolved the issue. Our stay was okay. Maria at the check in counter was amaizing. She was able to assist us and make sure that we enjoyed our trip. Unfortunately, we requested for our room to be cleaned only to comeback 7 hrs later and it was still the way we left it. Nothing had been done.

What an absolute nightmare. Stay away from this place. The staff is HORRIBLE. The lady at the check in should star on her own horror movie. She was the nastiest person I've ever had the displeasure of meeting I was traveling with my four kids, ages14,13,10,9. Due to their room policy, we have to have two rooms. One room was on the 19th floor and the other was 9. The lady seemed like she was enjoying the fact that she was splitting up my family and had no remorse of compassion whatsoever. If it wasn't already close to midnight, i would have left but we are on our road trip and needed to rest for the night. I will never stay here again

Cheap. Lots of weirdos on the street so area is a lot sketchier than a bit more south on the strip but well worth the savings. Nice gym but crowded pool. Excellent cheap restaurants nearby.

It’s got decent dining options and a comedy club which is awesome. LA Comedy Club inside of Strat is amazing! Great shows, killer headliners and very friendly staff. The pool here sucks it’s too small and has way too many people. It’s a cool hotel if you’re ballin on a budget but you might be better off in the middle of the strip where there are more entertainment and dining options.

The hotel itself was clean and well-kept, and inside everything was fine. The pool setup wasn’t ideal for tanning — most lounge chairs were in use by people enjoying the pool, which is understandable, but it made it tough to find a spot unless you were swimming. Not a deal-breaker, just not great for sunbathing. The real issue was the surrounding area. Outside the hotel felt unsafe, with a heavy presence of homelessness and drug activity, and it didn’t feel comfortable walking around the property. That alone makes us hesitant to stay here again, even though the inside of the hotel was fine.

I liked; easy access to the Sahara Station to put me in the middle of the strip in 10 minutes! Made it very easy to stay off the strip and get to the middle instantly. I disliked; my room view haha. I was trapped on the inside and only saw buildings and AC units on the roof top haha. But very comfy bed and nice room!!

Enjoyed this hotel being away from the hustle of the strip yet close enough to everything you come to Vegas for. Property is clean and maintained with a large security presence in and around ensuring a feeling if safety.

Additional fees that are not included in price of room - daily parking fee, resort fee and you have to pay to go up to the top of the Strat, which I think should be included with the room. (you get a discounted rate) Location is not good if you want to enjoy the main part of the strip, be prepared for a long walk or paying for transportation. (Even the monorail is a decent walk to get to) Good food options available in the resort.

Check in took awhile. Room was ok but nothing special for an upgraded deluxe room. Bathroom sink smelled bad the entire stay. Housekeeping was barely available so we had to fetch our own towels and stuff we needed with the exception of 2 nights. Felicia from Housekeeping was a blessing and the inly help/service we received. Signed up for rewards program and it was pointless bc every time i presented it i was told some run around that i had to go somewhere else to receive credits. Its so inconvenient its pointless. Lots of staff in casino pushing the sale of event tickets every time you walk anywhere. However the hotel was decorated beautifully, valet was great w friendly staff, top of the world had amazing views and i loved doing the sky jump!!

Check in was easy, elevators are a bit slow but functional. Room was clean with a few exceptions, sink drain had to be manually adjusted and when open had a sewer smell. Shower was a bit tired, needs updating. Bed was comfortable. Top of the world restaurant is 11/10 recommended, get the crab-artichoke dip. The view from the tower is great during the day, breathtaking at night. Gym was nice but would have liked a spa or steam. Just a preference. Atomic Golf was fun. Overall a 4/5

I would never ever stay at this place again because the cigarettes smelled in my room was very strong. It was 78 degrees in my room and can’t seem to lower the temperature. The ice machine broke so I was sweating up a storm. My only positive experiences was dining at Top of The World Restaurant and checking out the indoor and outdoor decks on the 108th and 109th floors.

Upgraded our room but felt like it needed more detailing. The water was hot but smelled like egg farts. The view was nice. Everyone was super nice. There were a bit of homeless people around but lots of security in and out which was great. They charge to go up to enjoy the view even when f you stay in the STRAT and pay all those resort fees. That should come included. The pool was nice, clean, and cool vibes. The food is better at the pool than some of the restaurants downstairs, more affordable too. The casino is huge and it felt like we were close to everything. Dennys, ihop, 7/11 is a 10 minute walk. Wifi was fast and overall was a good experience.

Internet access was terrible. Carpeting in the hallways were dirty and falling apart. We enjoyed the food in the Strat Cafe but they weren’t open for dinner for some reason. An employee at one of the other restaurants said they keep changing their times and not notifying anyone until you walk all the way down and find a closed sign. Beds were comfortable.

There are two food options for breakfast and lunch, with one of them being McDonald's. Dinner options aren't much better with them being closed at various days of the week. Bellhop service is gone, so you have to check out a cart and return it within an hour. The resort fee is now almost $60 when their lower rates was a reason to pick them over other's.

I honestly didn’t like the bait and switch with the resort fees. I think they need to have a more direct payment system. Also, the hotel deposit was ridiculous!!! It was like $75 per night. I stayed for 6 nights. $450 hold on my account kinda sucks. It wasn’t very centralized. The restaurant hours weren’t great. The food options were very limited and food quality wasn’t great. Plus everything was crazy expensive. 2 drinks cost me $60. Room AC was either too cold or not on at all. The toilet kept backing up. Shower scalded me a little. I probably won’t be back.

When we arrived on the first day, the front desk employee told us they didn’t have any rooms available and said we should contact Hotels.com to request a refund because there was nothing they could do. They made no effort to help us or find a solution. They simply kept saying it wasn’t their fault and even refused to let us speak with the manager. After nearly three hours of arguing with the front desk staff, we were finally given our rooms at around 12:00 a.m. To make matters worse, the rooms were in poor condition, the air conditioners didn’t work, and although we had specifically requested two connecting or adjacent rooms, we were assigned two rooms that were extremely far apart. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and it will definitely be my last stay at this hotel.
