Parking should be free for hotel guests

Check in was easy with help from an associate. Room was very nice and comfortable. Self parking at $25 per day is ridiculous.

The check-in process was seamless, the technology was awesome. You walk to a kiosk, enter your info to check in. You receive a text w a code when the room was ready (which was 12pm btw), then you enter the code your receive at a "key machine" and it programs the key for you! I never had to interact with hotel staff. Rooms were clean, although the walls were dinged up. The bed was super comfortable especially the pillows. The bad? The pool closes at 6, so I was charged an amenities fee when I didn't even use any of the amenities.

Hotel is great, rooms are big and clean and have everything you need. Just one small complaint, the music played aroynd the pool was much too loud!

Room is so old and not clean. Ev chargers do not work and the security guy parked and charged his car all day there since its free charging

I did not like that a guest had to check in themselves and also program their own key card. I also didn’t like that you advertise that parking is available but you never state that it will be 25 dollars a day. A lot of other hotels provide free parking.

Room was nice and clean. It was completely self check in which I did not like. But worse thing was the price of the food and drinks it’s just completely out of control. No shade at the pool and they want $175 to rent an umbrella.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel offers a good experience, but I believe a few updates could make it even better. For example, the elevators could use some renovation, and adding umbrellas to the pool area would greatly enhance comfort, as the sun can be quite strong during the day. Currently, there are only cabanas available, which limits options for other guests to fully enjoy the poolside.

The casino is too smokey, it's hard to breathe. That's my lone complaint. I can't breathe when walking around.

Room was dirty. You pay for a service you don’t get. You have to check yourself in on their kiosk then waited 20 minutes for a text that your room was ready then had to wait in another line to make your own room keys. The staff was horrible and not helpful. Keys didn’t work. Made multiple trips back and forth till an actual person could redo the keys.. never again

My stay at Excalibur was a very confusing place to find anything! The bathroom was dirty and the handle to the sink was loose and came off in my hand! Bed was very uncomfortable, they don’t offer room service and the smoking within the casino was horrible for non smokers. We had to load our own luggage carrier and push it ourselves which my friend pushed because I was on a scooter and she has bad knees and back and so do I. People within the hotel were constantly stopping us to sell us stuff, very annoying. Overall I didn’t have a good experience at all!

Need to spray the room for cockroaches We saw one running across the windowsill / AC unit I didn’t pay for bugs!

Start of the trip wasn't great: there was hair left in the shower drain and there was a moldy styrofoam container left in the refrigerator. Beyond that the room was fine, nothing special, nothing bad. AC was ok, it was a window model that was pretty loud while on.

Elevators were dirty well as the lobby on the fourth floor. Trash and dirty wash cloths that didn’t get cleaned up in a timely manner. No bathroom attendants in the casino level bathrooms. Had issues getting to our room at check-in due to confusion and lack of knowledge of employee standing at the entrance of the barrier ropes for In house guest line.

Not clean when I first got there I check into the room they put me in one of the bed has blood on sheet and the other bed had hair when you pulled the cover back

The bathroom was the only problem with cleanliness. There were hairs on the bathroom ceiling and door. The vent blew out some large chunks of dust when it was first turned on. The bathroom mirror had writing on it which only showed with the steam from the shower.

Room was dusty with crumbs on the floor…spit in the toilet…hair on the clean or supposed to be clean towels and overall not clean room and yellow stain on top sheet and 2nd night check out early after a roach was on the night stand…I will not stay there again and letting all my friends and family know and I will be doing several review on the hotel

The Excalibur was a great location to attend an event at Park MGM & is very easy to & from airport. The hotel is dated and our room had a stale smell & our refrigerator didn't work. Otherwise the room & bathroom are quite spacious. Note that they do not provide conditioner in the shower. The fire alarm went off at least 2x while we were there.

Good clean room but TV system from the 1990’s and MGM needs to seriously address their resort fees, parking fees and nonsensical food court pricing.

Room was okay. It was clean, and we only slept there, thank god. Barely any plugins to charge devices/laptops. Had a view of a WALL from our window. That sucked. Room 4270. That should be a broom closet or something. Not a room, just because the view was literally of a cement wall.

Very dated room. I reserved a room with King Size Bed, but they checked me in a double room with 2 queen beds. When asked, they said they didn’t have any room with King Size bed available. Furthermore, the room at Royal Tower does not have a refrigerator, need to pay extra to get one. However, they gave me one as “complementary”.

The room I had reserved in tower 2 which I paid extra for was supposed to be newly renovated. The bathroom was clearly still in need of repair and renovation. The mirror, the scuff marks on the floor, the wall paper and the rust or whatever it was on the toilet were definitely forgotten if the room really was renovated.

Wonderful room except the air conditioner was very noisy

Very clean, renovated room in resort tower. Water pressure in the shower needs to be improved. Other than that 5 stars.

I’ve been there many times while visiting Vegas but never stayed until this visit. The price was excellent. We were on the stay well floors. The room furniture was updated. Bed was comfortable. Pillows too overstuffed and hard for us. Need pillow options. Room air conditioning was cold. View was the rooftop but we didn’t pay for the better views so I didn’t expect much. The bathroom was the most outdated part of the room. Vanity light fixtures were rusty from years of shower steam. The shower and bathroom floor weren’t tile but molded plastic. Shower had a curtain and not glass doors. Bathroom wallpaper was showing signs of wear and dirty hands. It was still overall clean and daily maid service kept the room in good shape. Hotel provided soap and shampoo but no conditioner. Staff were friendly and helpful. Casino wasn’t overly crowded. Smoke smell wasn’t too overpowering. Pool looked nice but we didn’t go. We liked having access to MGM grand pool complex. I’m sad the old themed hotels are dying out. The food court floor has lots of options. I wish the theme still continued up there but the remodels have taken it all out. I think they should bring back the moat and dragon/merlin show. I wish there was a tram that connected Excalibur to MGM, NY NY, and Park MGM. It would make it more convenient to stay there if you didn’t have to do so much walking to get to other hotels. Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay feel cut off due to only having a tram between the three.

Beds were super comfy. We stayed for 15 nights and we had a wonderful experience. Online check in was so convenient, no long lines to check in. I would stay at Excalibur again. We stayed in the Royal Tower. Rooms were spacious and clean.

The self check in is good unless you need help with other issues, then you wait for long periods with minimal communication.

Didnt really like that we had to check in on a kiosk machine using the number they text you and then when your checked in you walk across to a key machine using the scan code they text you. It was madness. Employee were helpful thank goodness.

The check in is a nightmare. It's self checkin via kiosks. If the names on the card and the reservation do not exactly match, including middle name or initial or lack thereof, it gets denied. Then it's literally a hour long wait in line to correct it. Only one person working that area of the desk. Terrible Terrible Terrible. And everyone else on the other side of the fresh bustling back and forth are too busy to help clear the que. Literally an hour standing in line waiting because their system doesn't recognize a middle name or no middle name.

We always stay here - they are upgrading the rooms and for a large resort the customer service at the front desk has ALWAYS been amazing and the cleaning staff is on point

The new self check-in process could use some improvement. It took me 25 minutes to finally get a key to check into my room, and I ended up having to go to the front desk for help. I was told I would receive an email with instructions on how to retrieve my key from the machine, but it’s now the next day and I’m still waiting for that email. That said, once I got checked in, the rest of my stay was great.

Hotel is great, the new reception is terrible and does not work and involves allot of queuing, i had someones else passport still in the machine when i tried to book in automatically, that's not good enough

Check in was the worst. Kiosk check in only no real service. Once you check in then you have to wait to get a text for your room key. You get the text you have to activate your own key. If I have to do all the work I should get free parking. $20 a day plus do all the work ridiculous.

Check in was a nightmare. After standing in line for a machine to check you in with only one or two people to help and then they don't stay to make sure your done you finely get thru that process, which doesn't give you your key you get to wait for them to text you and you get to wait to get your keys. Terrible system.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars if they made the check in process better. Everyone had to do mobile check-in and weren’t allowed to get in line for assistance-even people without technology experience, the disabled and people with issues. I couldn’t upload my license for 10 minutes because it kept saying unable and was told to keep trying. When it finally worked, you wait for a text to then activate your own key(s) (thanks self check out registers). That took about 20 minutes. Other than that, good hotel. Just like the others. Johnny rockets said it was 24 hrs but it was closed at 2 am when we looked for food. Lucky the grill at New York New York was open and got food there past 2am.

Close to the raider stadium!

Great location for a football game at allegiant stadium.

The place was fun and lively! We were close enough to the casinos that it felt like we were right on the Strip, with New York-New York, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, and MGM just a short walk away. The room was clean, and the customer service was excellent!

Didn’t see an airport shuttle, we ubered. Beds were nice, room was a little out dated, but clean. Excalibur was around everything. We saw a show there, and good restaurants were in walking distance. I definitely would stay there again.

Good location

Great hotel, well located, good price! The location is excellent! The only drawback is the access to the parking lot, which is quite far away.

The hotel room was actually very clean and comfortable and spacious. The beds were cozy and as the fifth hotel we stayed at during our trip this was definitely the nicest. We love how close it was to many of the family friendly stores on the strip and the show we wanted to see. The only real issue we had was figuring out how to check in. Park first, and then go to the lobby to check in seems counter-intuitive to most hotels but maybe that's just me.

In the center of the strip, it is easy to walk anywhere.

Convenience, close to airport, good price, traveler friendly

Everything was great! I did pay a $20 upgrade to check in early (thru the MGM app) and my room was ready by 10am. I had arrived at 9am and checked my bag in and the guys there were amazing. My room was clean and had a phenomenal view. I ate at the buffet and that was pricey ($50+) aged you can get more selection at the Golden Corral. I did also attend the Tournament of Knights show and THAT was amazing. I had so much fun. I can’t even understand why more people don’t stay at the Excalibur! It’s so affordable and everyone is helpful and nice!

The room was good for the price, comfortable bed. Casino- those $5 blackjack tables are always full after noon. Plan on waiting, even the $10 table is usually full. Food choices are almost all fried bar food or a $20 small salad. Something healthy would be nice- if you can't eat gluten you have no choice except salad. No in room coffee makers so you get to buy a $6 cup of coffee. Limited service in casino, plan on going to a bar and paying $10+ for a beer/wine or waiting for an hour or two. In 3 hours at the slots we saw one server- asked her if we could order a drink and she glared at me and said "I have a tray of drinks to deliver" ... she never returned....

The staff at all the resorts are awesome. The room in the royal tower needs some major updating. There’s no fridge, no coffee maker and no bottles of water. I think the room has looked the same since the 90’s. We could have stayed in the other tower which has been upgraded but it does cost more. Our major concern with MGM as a whole, is the cost of food. Go down stairs and get a hamburger and it’ll run you $30. All the food is marked up a good 150%.

Hotel doesn’t serve breakfast, it would be nice if they had free breakfast for guest.

Our stay at Excalibur was great! The check in process on the MGM App was super easy and we didn't have to wait in line to check in. I would definitely recommend staying in the newly renovated resort tower. Housekeeping was extremely responsive when needing new towels and cleaning services. Lots of food options and a super quick walk to get on the strip. Will definitely stay here again!

The casino was great. The buffet was good and the service was great.

Good value for the price. Room was clean and bed comfortable. I was not happy how overpriced Johnny Rockets was in the casino. $7.00 for a small bottle of water! Did find some more reasonable food and drink at other places at the resort.

We had a great experience at the casino/hotel. There was plenty to do and many options for food and beverages. The location was great, and it all worked out for us. I would definitely recommend this place if you are coming to Las Vegas for a trip.

Check in was so easy having the mobile option. I did need to go ask them a question and they were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and pretty spacious with a decent view. Beds were comfortable and housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping the room picked up and stocked while we were there. Looked to be somewhat updated at least within the last few years. Great food options, the buffet was affordable and delicious. We enjoyed the casino as well. Felt clean and lots of slot and table options. One machine cut power in the middle of free games and with money in the machine but staff was there quickly and luckily when it rebooted it went back to where I was at. Even though I didn’t end up losing anything here, they still provided me a coupon for a meal for both me and my friend for the inconvenience. It was also easy getting into the property and finding parking. Honestly don’t know why this property gets a lot of hate. Sure it’s an older and budget friendly hotel but we had a truly great time and felt very comfortable during our stay. We would absolutely stay again in the future.
