MGM Grand

First time stay- Room is spacious, small mini fridge that can fit 6-12 waters/drinks, clean room, we like the fact that the NY NY, excalibur, the Luxor and the Mandalay Bay are all connected and we could stay indoors. Pool was good, there were some parts that were cut off, floating tubes are around $30, food and drinks are in double the price outside of Vegas, the gym is a plus with just about everything to get a great workout in. Overall great experience!

The actual hotel was fine but you pay for the room and then a resort fee. I understand about the resort fee but we went to the pool and had to pay to use a lounge chair (not a cabana) just a chair. What is the resort fee for? The buffet was open only until 3 pm (5 days a week) I didn't want a buffet breakfast so we went around 1 pm. The lunch area consisted of 5 different entries. Only vegetable they had was cauliflower w / broccoli and a small salad bar FOR $50 EACH. I now understand why Las Vegas is having problems attracting customers.

The hotel was beautiful and well cared for. Room was very clean. Bed was a very comfortable pillow too. The only suggestion is build an additional pool. The pool was murky and I think that is because there was a lot- maybe too many people in the pool for the pool size.

Easy check in. Clean. Great lazy river.

Hotel was fine parking was expensive

I had an excellent stay at MGM Grand recently. The newly renovated MGM Tower rooms are modern and clean, the dining options were well balanced between nice sit down service meals and quick food court bites. The pool complex was MASSIVE with 4 separate pools and a lazy River! Casino was large and plenty of room for any type of gambler. The monorail is great to help you get northbound down the strip to explore and walking bridges help to get directly across the street to more hotels and attractions. 10/10 would stay here again

Their elevators were in disrepair. At one point they had guests use freight elevator. For a hotel that charges a lot for accommodations - this is unacceptable

They literally started construction at 9 on the dot. Sounded like the ceiling was caving in. Then my water got shut off in the middle of the day without warning or reason. Park mgm is so much better.

I have stayed here a couple Times and this time was disappointing. They shut water off to room for hours with no warning we didn’t have hot water for shower one day and the room was super loud. Also literally no place to sit down in lobby while waiting for rides. Pool was amazing and proximity to things. Would consider trying somewhere else after lack of water to room.

Clean room, friendly check in.

Everything was great, from checking in to checking out. Room was clean. We had a great view. Everyone was friendly!

Overall, my stay was okay. The room itself was nicely furnished, but the cleanliness wasn’t great— there were towels with stains, some hair left in the shower, and a noticeable odor when entering the room. For the price point, I expected a higher level of upkeep and attention to detail. The resort also felt lacking in amenities, especially considering the daily rates and resort fee. The fee doesn’t really seem justified based on what’s provided. Overall, not a terrible stay, but definitely not worth the cost for what you get.

My room was filthy. Dust all over the windowsill, trash and food leftovers on dresser, long dark hairs in shower and on bathrooms floor.

We saw a roach in the room and the room was small with poor lighting.

Hotel overall was nice but had cleanliness issues with room. At first check in we found clumps of black hair on bathroom floor and strange brown smears on the walls. Had to argue with housekeeping (who had just left our room and was in the hallway) to comeback and actually clean. Day 3 we found old capri suns on the ground by the curtains. We don’t drink capri sun. On that basis will not ever go back.

There was old dirty socks in our room and generally gross.

Room was recently renovated and is beautiful. Staff is friendly

Great room with plenty of space and a very comfortable bed! So quiet!! Bathroom was also spacious. Plenty of food/drink options within the hotel complex and easy access to the strip and monorail once we got our bearings

My room, 22405, is poorly lit. A bit depressing.... My check-in took over 30 minutes. Two of the clerks checking in people were tied up with one group for 30 minutes. Why should one check-in take 30 minutes???? your check-out kiosk app got an error and failed...

I was put into a renovated room and it was really nice. The new rooms and really spacious, and I had 2 Queen beds and there was still plenty of room. All of the staff were great, especially the housekeepers on my floor. They were always smiling and saying hello.

Facilities were nice and we had a nice updated room. The hotel was crowded and lively. The only negative thing was when checking in the staff didn’t explain what charges was being held in my credit card, qnd what would be refunded later. Also, there were old stains in my bed sheets and on the foot towel that you place in front of your shower in the bathroom. Other than those minor things, the mgm is a fun place to be and the price is always

Stayed on the 12th floor tower suite for two nights. There was a noise from possibly A/C pipes or something in the wall… really annoying and hard to sleep. I wasn’t the only one that noticed this problem as security was knocking on the next door at 3am as someone on the floor below was complaining about the noise . Other than that it was a good experience.

Not a 4 star property. Studio Tower rooms were more like a 2 star vibe. Not worth the stay. No view, very far walk from room to casino/lobby area.

Room was straight from 1982. Door was hard to latch and the cleaning staff didn’t even close it after cleaning on one day. Air conditioner was functional but a bit loud and slow to cool the room. Prices for everything in the hotel were outrageous. You could hear every noise from the next door rooms. Smelled like cigarettes in the room.

The Hotel is Amazing!! But the best attendance was for Miss Glenda H. At the front desk.

Great welcoming staff in check in and housekeeping was awesome too! Definitely coming back!

The check-in experience was disappointing. Despite paying for an upgraded suite, we were assigned a disabled-access room on the ground floor with no view of Vegas—something we never requested. When we asked to change rooms, we were told the hotel was fully booked.

Check in was horrible, the staff doesn't move with urgency. The staff also doesn't give you any information about the hotel or it amenities. Front desk doesn't call the room if there is a delivery either and they make all order sit at the post directly next to the casino making it easy for someone to just take you food. I was told my Pkgs or food is not the responsibility. I was to inform me if I had food or Pkgs is not their responsibility. The housekeepers were the best and friendly. I wouldn't waste my money at MGM again. Especially to be treated so poorly.

The staff was great, very pleasant. The hotel is gigantic and there is literally so kuch to do!

Spacious, gorgeous room. Excellent beds. Comfortable stay. Staff were extremely courteous. My only complaint is that signs and staff constantly pushed QR code and app "shortcuts" that did not work.

We stayed on a Monday night in the Grand Tower 6th floor. We woke around 1:00 am to a VERY loud truck parked on property in the alley right beside our hotel room tower. Looking out of our window down to the alleyway below we could see they were carpet cleaners, and had wet vac hoses running from the truck through an open side door inside to the casino. The vacuum noise was incredibly loud, high pitched, and sounded like some sort of alarm. It woke us from our sleep. We proceeded to call downstairs to complain about the noise and tried explaining what we were hearing and seeing outside of our hotel window. The hotel staff played ignorant and said we were mistaken, there was no work going on in the casino tonight, and it must be street cleaners. They refused to go outside to assess the situation and refused to come up to our room in order to hear it themselves. The noise went on for 2-3 hrs. We must’ve called downstairs at least 4 times and each time got the same scripted response. Staff said they would “try to notify the manager” and we would get a call back. No one ever called. The cleaners finally stopped around 4:30am and I could finally fall asleep for a couple hours before our flight. We never did hear back from any staff at the hotel. Beware if MGM tries to give you a lower floor in the grand tower! A janitor told us the carpet gets cleaned twice a week.This was the worst customer service i’ve ever experienced at a hotel.I will never book this property again.

The check-in experience was not good. Even though it was a low volume evening (Mondy), the wait was 40 minutes. Only 2 agents processing check-in for a line of over 50 guests. The room was clean and had the appropriate amenities. However, the hallways need a thorough cleaning and refresh.

Big cheats, havent got refund of the deposit even after a month, very poor customer service. There is queue for everything, nobrespect for anyone's time and no resolution is provided after a wait for over 30 mins.

It’s been my third time in the MGM and as always great quality vs price. The only thing I didn’t like was the cigarette smell in the casino (more than other casinos), service excellent, monorail to cross the strip, spacious room and had a great time!

Property is close to the strip and other shops.

Easy distance to sphere for concerts

The property felt like it went on for miles, but it was a really nice hotel area was super convenient and close to everything but so is everything on the strip

Fantastic location

You really don't even have to leave the hotel complex. They have it all. Food, drinks, entertainment, games. It's all there. Highly recommend using the monorail for adventures out, and the station is steps from the door!

Love you hotel! Super clean and very beautiful. Crush was so delicious. Sadly the service at Netflix was amazing but the breakfast burrito was not good & had no flavor😐 We had a slightly rough night of sleep due to our room being right next to the elevators so you could hear the machine noise of the elevators.🙃😑 The pools are beautiful but sadly closs so early. We checked in at 4:30 and by the time we changed and walked down there..the lazy river was closed and they were about to close the big pool. Found out the Lazy river closed at 5 and the pool at 6. Then we had to checkout the next morning leaving no time to enjoy this awesome space tho we were charged a large resort fee when we didnt get to enjoy it. Could we kindly request a refund if these fees? 🙏 we plan on staying longer next time.

Bang average hotel . Breakfast buffet was terrible and the cost ridiculous. Very limited choice of mid range dining. You can go high end or low end with little in between . Place is very busy , casino was okay . Bars were full and difficult to find somewhere to get a drink on a weekend

Stayed 1 night and enjoyed our time. Walked around the casino floors, shopping areas and dined at a nice Italian restaurant called Luchini! Great chicken parm!

The stay was Ok. I know its alot of foot traffic so the carpet was dirty. The shower is small. The fridge was full of drinks so you couldnt use tge fridge for your personal use. Anything you take out of the fridge you will get charge. The deposit is $300. The buffet was just Ok for $45 I was expecting more. I did like that FAT TUESDAY is downstairs. Its no airport shuttle which I understand why. Its SO many people visit the MGM daily. After everything I just mentioned I will visit again.

The MGM Grand is a beautiful property with spacious, comfortable rooms and an impressive casino floor. The hotel itself is well-kept and has that classic Vegas energy. The pool area is a standout, great for all ages and one of the highlights of the property. Where it falls short is the dining. The options aren’t particularly special, and the prices are hard to justify, $14 for a single slice of pizza is outrageous, even by Vegas standards. That said, the overall experience was nice. The room, the atmosphere, and the pool make it worth a stay. Despite the overpriced food, I would stay here again.

Food court was very expensive.

Rooms were very clean, the buffet was amazing. Attended a comedy show at The Underground. Would definitely stay here again.

The dining options were truly enjoyable. The options were great…a little something for everyone! Since we flew in, it was convenient to have access to the monorail from the food court/ shopping area.
