We don't really have a good feel for Aachen as a city and aren't sure what to say about the area other than that it was pretty vibrant and appeared to offer some night life opportunities. The hotel was clean and modern and the service was mostly good, although they seemed to be thrown a little for a loop by a family showing up to breakfast with two kids, which was odd. The room was adequate, but not big, and with both the bed and the pull-out sofa if was tricky to move around. It had an adequate fitness facility on the top floor, with dumbbells up to 10kg, a full-body selectorized weight training machind, and some cardio machines, as well as a shower and changing area.

Sehr freundlicher Service, Zimmer ausreichend groß, ein paar Steckdosen mehr wären wünschenswert. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt, da 21€/Person/Frühstück für eine Privatreise einfach zu viel sind und es genügend Cafés als Alternative um das Hotel herum gibt. Die Möglichkeit, das Auto unter dem Hotel zu parken, war sehr angenehm und war vom Preis noch erträglich, zumal man das meiste in Aachen fußläufig erreichen kann.

Sehr schönes Hotel für einen City-Trip. Dampfbad & Gym waren bucht nutzbar, da sie renoviert haben. Das war aber vorher bekannt, daher alles okay.

Parkhaus war wg Renovierung geschlossen. Das passiert, war schade aber auch kein Weltuntergang. Es gibt parkhäuser in direkter Umgebung. Ansonsten ein tadelloser Aufenthalt, vielen Dank.

Very convenient for Aachen Christmas market. Super friendly staff. Clean room. Used bar both evenings and drinks were reasonable and delicious. Didn’t have breakfast as we had it on the go from fantastic bakeries and cafes in town. Aachen beautiful - you must see the cathedral!

Prima locatie en nette kamers. Ontbijt was ook zeer compleet en netjes. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Garage onder hotel, geen onderdeel van hotel, was handig maar wel prijzig en veel zwervers.

Great location near the cathedral and square. Hotel was great but we did not eat the breakfast as it was expensive at $26 euros each. I recommend the dining room as we ate 2 nights of 3. Parking was easy with our rental. Unfortunately, our vehicle was broken into and my wife’s Michael Kors purse (the only item we left and forgot in the car) was stolen. Note: the underground parking does not belong to the Hotel. I would recommend staying here without a vehicle.

Prima hotel, dicht bij het centrum en restaurants. Echter de weg naar het centrum is niet zo schoon en "veilig" om alleen te lopen. Parkeergarage onder hotel voor €18 per dag, lift vanuit garage komt uit in het hotel.

Das Zimmer war nicht so richtig sauber, schlechte Luft im Flur und auch beim Lüften kam nur rauchige Luft von der Straße herein. Frühstück viel zu teuer für das Angebot und die Qualität

Spitzenklasse Hotel, klasse Zimmer mit Bad, Dusche und Badewanne war schon echt klasse. Sehr bequemes Bett, super sauber und die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr gerne wieder falls ich nochmal nach Aachen komme.

Wir hatten zu dritt (1 Erwachsener, 2 Kinder) einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Novotel Aachen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, Frühstücksbuffett reichhaltig und lecker, Zimmer sehr sauber. Wir können das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und auch die Zimmer sind für 2 bis 3 Tage Aufenthalt gut eingerichtet und völlig ausreichend. Zudem hat das Hotel eigentlich eine sehr gute Lage, alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Das war der Grund, warum wir uns ein 2. Mal für einen Aufenthalt hier entschieden hatten. Aber da kommen wir zum Problem. Es ist keine schöne Gegend mehr, man fühlt sich nicht wirklich sicher. Abends traut man sich als Frau da nicht raus. Im Hotel hängt rin Zettel, dass schon mehrfach in der Tiefgarage die Autos aufgebrochen wurden. Das war im letzten Aufenthalt noch nicht so schlimm. Zudem war es in den Zimmer unerträglich warm. Wir mussten mit offenen Fenster schlafen und haben sogar die Decke aus den Bezügen geholt. Man kann die Temperatur nicht selbst regulieren. Es war auch an vielen Stellen sehr staubig, aber sonst im allgemeinen sauber. Aufgrund der Situationen draußen würden wir nächstes Jahr wahrscheinlich nicht noch einmal hier unterkommen. Da gibt es in Aachen schönere Stellen.

Very clean hotel/room, pleasant staff and a wonderful breakfast selection (though a bit pricey). I would have given it 5 stars if not for the odd room layout. I had a single queen room. The toilet was immediately to the left of the door, but the sink, shower and tub were around the corner. I found that odd. There was an electric kettle in the room with a few tea and instant coffee selections, and a mini fridge. The room size was good with two windows that you could open. I came in by train and you can take bus 3 or 13 to the Hansemannplatz stop. Cross the street to Peterstraße and the hotel is down on the left. Easy to get to and a short walk further down Peterstraße gets you towards the old town.

Gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage von Aachen. Zimmer ausreichend groß, Bett gemütlich. Bad mit Wanne und separater Dusche, Toilette in extra Raum aber sehr eng. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet.

Es war alles sauber und das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Allerdings war es viel zu warm im Zimmer, um gut schlafen zu können. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte leider gar nicht und es gab keinerlei Kühlung. Zum Glück war kein Sommer mehr. Auch täte mehr Platz für Kleidung und ein Kühlschrank dem Zimmer gut. 1 Nacht ok, aber wir waren 4 Nächte dort.

This hotel is clean but very average. Close to everything but only has the very basic amenities. Breakfast was expensive €26 per person for buffet breakfast and there wasn't much to choose from. Reception could also be a little friendly to guests. No complimentary water so we bought water and asked to charge it in the room but we were told they can't do that since the room has already been fully paid for but doesn't make sense that they were ok to charge the €26 per person breakfast to the room.

Spitzenklasse Hotel, klasse Zimmer mit Bad, Dusche und Badewanne war schon echt klasse. Sehr bequemes Bett, super sauber und die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr gerne wieder falls ich nochmal nach Aachen komme.

The hotel staff was extremely rude and inconsiderate. Many essentials were missing in the room including toilet paper. When you need to ask for toilet paper then you know there is an issue. The key cards did not work and we had to ask for new keys frequently. The staff was very rude and inconsiderate; I have stayed in many hotels around the world but the lack of service and basic communication skills were missing. Consider this hotel as you last option in Aachen.

Great location near the cathedral and square. Hotel was great but we did not eat the breakfast as it was expensive at $26 euros each. I recommend the dining room as we ate 2 nights of 3. Parking was easy with our rental. Unfortunately, our vehicle was broken into and my wife’s Michael Kors purse (the only item we left and forgot in the car) was stolen. Note: the underground parking does not belong to the Hotel. I would recommend staying here without a vehicle.

The hotel and room as such were fine. But there are too many drug addicts and drunks in the blocks around the hotel. The parking lot is spacious but some parts of it are used as public latrine. Very close to main shopping areas and other parts of the city center.

Very clean hotel/room, pleasant staff and a wonderful breakfast selection (though a bit pricey). I would have given it 5 stars if not for the odd room layout. I had a single queen room. The toilet was immediately to the left of the door, but the sink, shower and tub were around the corner. I found that odd. There was an electric kettle in the room with a few tea and instant coffee selections, and a mini fridge. The room size was good with two windows that you could open. I came in by train and you can take bus 3 or 13 to the Hansemannplatz stop. Cross the street to Peterstraße and the hotel is down on the left. Easy to get to and a short walk further down Peterstraße gets you towards the old town.

This hotel is very far from 4 stars.Rooms are extremely basic, quality of products is low(e.g.rough pretty much used towels). Very raw in everything. Also very limited choice in the resto. In the bar and resto the same person works as a bartender,waiter and does all work alone (despite amount of people which is often full). Staff overall is nice, but there are definitely not enough of them. Very economic approach of hotel towards guests(e.g. one small bottle of water as welcome for 3 people in the room, never giving toiletries if something got over). So don't expect much. It's basic 3 stars in reality, nothing more.

The hotel was modern with small but clean rooms and a good location. Bathroom setup with tub & separate shower plus additional toilet room was nice, but with the sofa bed made, there wasn't anywhere to leave our luggage. The kids play area in the lobby, kids' check gift & a large breakfast buffet was very nice extra for the kids. The bar was opened late for the world cup game, which Germany won - definitely a great way to end the day.
