Das Preisleistungsverhältnis für dieses Hotel ist nicht angemessen. Unter anderem fehlte die versprochene Minibar, die Duschkabine ist stark undicht (wurde nach Beschwerde nicht behoben), das Bett ist zu klein und sehr unbequem,der Fernseher hängt viel zu tief. Das Personal war unfähig, nach einem Stromausfall des Zimmers diesen zeitnah zu beheben (erst nach einigen Telefonaten). Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt.

Séjour de 2 nuits à Aix la Chapelle. Hôtel propre et confortable, d’un très bon rapport qualité prix pour découvrir Aix la Chapelle. L’hôtel est vraiment très bien placé. Contrairement à ce qui est dit sur beaucoup d’avis, il y a bien des bouilloires dans les chambres. Il suffit d’ouvrir les placards 😉

Wonderful time in Aachen, in no small part due to Hotel am Dom. Very friendly and attentive staff. Room was nice and clean. Water pressure made showering pleasant. Quiet and relaxing time. Only problem is that the parking situation is not very clear. I believe the hotel lot is the underground section of the car park, but I parked in the upper floor and had difficulty getting out. If you drive, you might want to get this clarified first. Otherwise, everything was great, and I highly recommend the hotel.

Nette Menschen, Unterkunft, mitten in der Stadt. Leider keine eigenen Parkplätze, aber es gibt genug Parkhäuser, die im Verhältnis sogar günstiger sind als üblicherweise eigene Hotelparkplätze. Das Zimmer war zur viel befahrenen Straße raus und trotzdem sehr ruhig 😌 Wir waren nur eine Nacht in Aachen, dafür waren sowohl Preis und Zimmer in Ordnung.

Centrally located, Mercure Aachen is a good hotel choice for the location and nightly fee but rather bare bones - no restaurant or bar (breakfast is offered), hardly any lobby and no in-room mini-bar to keep drinks cold. While my mattress was bit hard, my room was otherwise well appointed and lit. Nice bathroom.

1 night stay, very comfortable hotel. Parking is a challenge in the city but hotel does have designated spots in a nearby garage. Excellent room and breakfast, everyone was friendly. Very-city center, great for the sites and dining, shopping but very busy area.

We stayed here for two nights. It's a really convenient location for the Altstadt, cathedral and Christmas markets. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and in good condition, and our room was comfortable. We did hear some noise from the street in the night, but that was the only minor issue. Overall we were very happy with our stay here.

Das Hotel liegt zentral, aber nicht am Dom. Der Name ist irreführend. Es liegt an einer lauten Straße in einem der schlechteren Viertel Aachens. Die Fenster sind schlecht isoliert, wir haben wegen des Lärms kaum geschlafen. Obere Kleiderregale waren sehr staubig. Insgesamt enttäuschend, nicht zu empfehlen.

Room was cleaned, but walls were very scuffed, curtains dirty. Someone killed a bug on the wall with a shoe, big guts were still there and shoe mark as well. Breakfast was great, and staff were friendly.

Het hotel geboekt, omdat het gunstig lag voor bezoek aan de Kerstmarkt in Aken. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding was echter matig. Als Superiorkamer viel deze erg tegen. De kamer was aan de kleine kant. De verwarming van de badkamer deed het niet, waardoor deze koud en niet comfortabel was. Dit probleem werd opgelost met een losse radiator, die enige tijd op zich liet wachten. Uiteindelijk was de badkamer wel comfortabel.

The bed was soooooo comfortable and the staff was very helpful - not just professional but friendly and welcoming. We had a small issue with our car, we parked it in fron of the hotel to check in and by the time we got back out, there was a police officer writing us up. The officer saw we really were unloading and cancelled the ticket, but the staff got quite upset as they normally have an arrangement with the police that before writing up someone on the special spott "for unloading only" they check with reception if the people are indeed checking in and I just know the emlployee must have given him an earful when she spotted him...

There was a water leak from the ceiling and we had to lose time for our plans while the worker fixed it. The management refused to give us a new room or compensate us for our inconvenience. In addition, the water kettle leaked and we needed to get a new one, but had to retrieve it ourselves-it was not brought to us. The neighborhood is noisy and the wi does do not keep out the street noise, even on the third floor. We asked the front desk staff to reserve us a taxi in the morning and they would not, claiming that there are “always taxis out front.” When we needed one in the morning to catch our train however there were none, and we had to deal with it ourselves. Overall a very disappointing experience for the money paid.

The hotel is located in the city center of Aachen which is very practical. Unfortunately this area is also very popular during the evening and the night for homeless people. The whole night I had to cope with homeless people making lots of noises (music and screaming) infront of the hotel and barely could sleep. My dogs stay was charged with additional 15 € per day. The service was excellent but my dog was not allowed to enter the breakfast room. As my dog is too scared to be alone in the hotel room, I could not take the breakfast. A refund of the breakfast was not possible due to their booking system.

The whole night I had to cope with homeless people making lots of noises (music and screaming) infront of the hotel and barely could sleep. My dogs stay was charged with additional 15 € per day. The service was excellent but my dog was not allowed to enter the breakfast room. As my dog is too scared to be alone in the hotel room, I could not take the breakfast. A refund of the breakfast was not possible due to their booking system.

1 night stay, very comfortable hotel. Parking is a challenge in the city but hotel does have designated spots in a nearby garage. Excellent room and breakfast, everyone was friendly. Very-city center, great for the sites and dining, shopping but very busy area.

Un hotel moderne bien situé dans cette ville trés agréable. Les chambres sont bien, le service à l'accueil excellent, et le petit déjeuner est bien fourni. Juste en dehors de l'hotel, le centre ville avec beaucoup de choix de restauration.
