Eerder 3 dan 4 sterren waard (smorgens ruziënde kamermeiden in de gang, niet leuk om zo gewekt te worden). Vlotte check in en check out, vriendelijk personeel aan de balie. De ligging van het hotel is goed. Voldoende parking in de buurt.

Overboeking, er werd pas in de avond een bed bijgeplaatst op de kamer. Niet genoeg handdoeken op de kamer. Gaan bijvragen, douchematjes meegekregen ipv handdoeken. Tijdens ontbijt twee keer mijn boekingsmail moeten laten zien ivm betaling ontbijt. Dit was reeds betaald. Maar ze vonden de info niet direct terug. Onprofessionele, jeugdige medewerkers voor zo een hotel. Geen propere accommodatie. Ontbijt en ontbijtruimte waren wel goed. Geen relaxed verblijf door het hele overboeking gegeven en niet bekwame medewerkers.

I like the Mercure Antwerp City Centre hotel and this was my second time this year to visit. It's in a central location close to the train station and one can enjoy a lovely park across the street from the hotel. The breakfast is always good and the bar is nice. But I have one complaint: my room came this time with inadequate lighting. See photo of the only light for the bedroom space other than the pinpoint bed lighting. While this light is ok for the table beside it, it certainly does not help illuminate the room. As a result my room was gloomy, which is no help in winter.

Le gros problème l’insonorisation inexistante pour les chambres avec vu sur le parc. De 23h a 3h du matin, impossible de dormir. Beaucoup de bruit venant de la rue (musique venant d’un établissement non loin de l’hôtel, le bruit des piétons…). Dernier point négatif, les produits d’hygiène ( gel douche, savon pour main, lotion pour le corps …) non pas été renouvelé avant notre arrivée. Résultat, nous avons manqué de produit pour le séjour. Heureusement, nous avons passé qu’une nuit. Aussi, rien à signaler l’accueil top 👍 avec personnel parlant français. L’état général de l’hôtel top 👍…

The room was good it was very hot. I ask for a fan the fist day but the hotel didn't offer that. But the girl at the desk adjusted the temperature in the room to go cooler. The other two day was told they couldn't do that.🤔 The other thing we had to have the key reser everyday.
