Grand Hyatt Bali

Our stay at the Grand Hyatt was absolutely beautiful — so peaceful, yet very family-oriented. Our daughter loved the kids club and the waterslide, and the pool areas were pristine. The food, whether enjoyed by the pool or in the restaurants, was first class and absolutely delicious. We will definitely return!

Great family hotel on a private beach of Nusa dua. In the main big pool lots of families w kids. If you want to escape from noise go to the beach or 2 small private pools that they have. The hotel has a great beach chairs in a shade and the beach is almost empty! They clean seaweed on the beach and take care of the property well! Be aware of ebb and flow of the ocean, it happened a lot during our stay in early October. Great location to walk to the street restaurants (about 20-30 mins if you are adventurous) and about 10 mins to Bali collection - a Streep with restaurants and shops. Be aware this area is overpriced for tourists, nothing like Ubud or other parts of Bali. It was great for 6 days at the beach and then we moved to Ubud, so we experienced both.

Jättefint hotell, pool & riktigt bra restauranger på resorten. Vi bokade club access vilket vi gillade. Rekommenderad varmt om man önskar Bali-light-upplevelse med bra strandpromenad & resort efter resort längs havet. Är Man mer äventyrlig av sig så är kanske inte detta stället för dig.

Great facilities for squash and gym. Good selection of everything. Awesome breakfast

4 restaurants , large pool area with lots of seating with shade under trees or umbrellas. Food was fantastic and plenty of options. Staff were lovely and efficient, lots of amenities at resort and no need to leave Great place if you want a relaxing holiday, they also offer all inclusive with food and beverages.

Beautiful resort gardens and pool right on beach. New Salsa Rooftop Bar gorgeous views and atmosphere but a hand rail on the stone staircase to access the bar would be really good. All Staff very welcoming and service excellent.

We had a fantastic stay at Grand Hyatt Bali and truly enjoyed every aspect of the resort. The property is massive, beautifully landscaped, and feels like a tropical paradise with lush gardens, lagoons, and direct beach access. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with very comfortable beds and great amenities. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. The staff deserve special mention—they were consistently friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile, which made our experience even more memorable. The resort offers a great variety of pools, perfect for both families and couples, and the beach area is clean and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of international and local dishes, and the restaurants on the property offered good quality food and plenty of options. The location in Nusa Dua is ideal—safe, peaceful, and close to shopping and other attractions, while still feeling secluded and relaxing. Overall, Grand Hyatt Bali exceeded our expectations. It’s a perfect choice for a relaxing vacation, whether you’re traveling as a couple or with family. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali.

Eine paradiesische Hotelanlage, sehr gepflegt, weitläufig. Mehrere unterschiedliche Pools, sogar eine erwachsenen-taugliche Wasserrutsche. Das Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlten lediglich Stauräume für Kleidung und Koffer.

Love being so close to the ocean with such beautiful grounds and pools. You don’t need to leave the resort for anything. Would have liked to have dined at the Japanese restaurant but it was closed. Also two other bars/restaurants were under renovation but the club lounge benefit was a lovely place for nightly drinks and canapés. A family friendly resort esp for young children,however adults could find spots around the pools that were quiet and relaxing

Die Anlage liegt im "abgesperrten" Bereich von Nusa Dua. Kein Müll, kein Verkehr abgesehen von den Taxen. Quasi das Gegenteil von der übrigen Insel. Das Hotel und das Grundstück sind wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Überall viel Personal. Sie sind alle äußerste freundlich und höflich - auch wenn nicht immer 100% professionell. Wenn zu einem günstigen Preis zu bekommen, können wir den "Grand Club Access" empfehlen. Damit kann man in einem wunderschönen und ruhigen Bereich frühstücken und zwischen 17 - 19 Uhr Snacken - was eigentlich einem Abendessen gleichkommt. Die Speisen sind abwechslungsreich und von hoher Qualität. Dazu kann man auch Cocktails bestellen, die aber etwas zu wässrig sind. Mit dem Grand Club Access wohnt man auch im ruhigeren East Village mit separatem Pool. Für Menschen die ruhe wollen ein klare Empfehlung. Reisende mit Kindern sollten eher in der Nähe des großen Pools wohnen. Zum Ozean ist es auch nicht weit. Sowohl am Pool als auch am Strand gibts genug Liegen für alle - obwohl manche Gäste gerne mal die besten Plätze reservieren. Es gibt auch Service am Pool bzw. am Strand. Der ist aber recht langsam, insbesondere am Strand (manchmal gar nicht verfügbar) und das Essen kommt in der Regel nur lauwarm an. Die Restaurants sind gut, aber nicht überragend. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist OK. Aber für balinesische Verhältnisse unermesslich teuer. Preise wie in DE vor Corona. Größtes Manko: Die Zimmer riechen leider nach Keller und sind alt.

Overall I was highly impressed with the Grand Hyatt Bali- the staff was extremely nice, there were several options for food and activities. The only issue we had while staying there were ants in our bathroom and along the desk in our room. That freaked me out. The staff immediately came and sprayed and I appreciated how attentive they were but I found myself looking all around for ants the remainder of my stay.

All of it! Absolutely disgusting. Everywhere was dirty especially by the pool, walkways, in the restaurants, and the rooms hadn’t been changed for thirty five years. A complete insult

Also, I would have liked to be able to grab a coffee and pastry somewhere in the early morning. Unfortunately, the restaurants seem to only offer a huge buffet breakfast which was way more than I wanted and was quite pricey. I felt like I could have been anywhere in the world at this hotel, not necessarily Bali. Service around the pool was slow. It was very difficult to get anyone’s attention. The servers don’t seem to look around at all to see if anyone needs to order. I had to track them down. But it is a nice hotel.

Old property, the facility is getting out of shape due to lack of maintenance. I can see it used to be a grand hotel in the past. Today it’s only a shadow of its former self, with leaking taps, cockroaches and lizards in the bedrooms, stained walls and creaky beds. The staff are putting up a brave effort and service is quite good. But I would rather stay in a newer and cleaner property.

The room was moist and humid. The sheets were wet from the moisture

L’hôtel Grand Hyatt Bali est bien situé et les parties communes sont agréables, mais l’établissement est clairement vieillissant. Notre chambre, en plus d’être très éloignée de la réception, présentait une odeur d’humidité extrêmement forte et persistante. Cette odeur rendait le séjour inconfortable et nous empêchait de dormir correctement. Inacceptable pour un hôtel cinq étoiles de ce niveau. Grosse déception malgré le potentiel du lieu.

On the day of arrival 15/12, we were checked into a room which was way too far and difficult to find. Got it changed to one nearer the lobby. My husband got unwell on the first night. Had a fever and body aches. . On the 3rd day, to my shock, when I asked for beddings to be changed, I helped housekeeping and saw a mouldy wet patch on the duvet. It's was covered by the duvet cover ,so we didn't see I till we changed the beddings. My husband's condition got worse, fever, loss of appetite, which I believe was made worse by the mouldy duvet that he covered over him . The spores of the mould is truly bad for the health. I complained to the manager and they offered a complimentary 60 mins spa massage. And after much effort to get compensation, they waived the 1st 2 days dinner which was less than 1 million Idr and another dinner yesterday. . What I am trying to say , is that it wasn't enough when the guest health is affected by some dirty mouldy duvet. My partner got really sick. So what would you do Expedia , as we booked the hotel through you??

De kamers die wij kregen zijn oud en muffig. Sanitair is oud. Alles heeft een vieze geur in de kamer en badkamer. Het was zeker niet het geld waard. Het terrein is wel mooi en goed onderhouden, jammer de kamers niet.

Generally fine, walls are super thin so can hear all your surroundings in your room.

The property is beautiful but lacks any sense of being in Bali. The main pool was disappointing and a long walk from room which is difficult when you have a mobility issue which you mentioned at booking.

For Bali, this was quite overpriced, or at least at the time I stayed it was. The rooms are dated and smallish. The room balconies are tiny. The grounds are pretty but for Bali, nothing too unusual. For a little more money you can find something spectacular in this area, like Kempenski.

Overall great hotel and facilities but the rooms need maintenance! Aircons in the rooms do not work properly

The staff were friendly eager to assist. Whilst the first night of my stay the room was not what l expected, as in old and smelling of mould. They changed my room and it was lovely.

The hotel itself is great but the room is dated and poorly maintained.

Noisy beach club next door- couldn’t get to sleep. No good wifi in room. Average buffet breakfast compared to other Bali stays. Wait time for check in and long distance to walk from room to lobby, pool and other amenities (and we booked a nice ocean view room).. not the peaceful, relaxing stay we hoped for.

property was nice and staff were lovely, shower could not hold temperature, bed was meant to be 1 king and got 2 singles, fridge in room did not work

The staff were ok, what bothered me a lot was that, there was hair on food that I ordered by the pool, when I mentioned this to the staff, their manager came and told me that, the food is cooked outside and they can’t control what goes inside it. They said sorry and left, I was charged for the food still. It was a bitter experience.

Overall the stay was acceptable but there was an that could be better. The charging of expenses to the room was fine until the deposit the front desk had taken on check in was used up. I then settled the bill and left them the original deposit but for the next 24 hours everything I tried to charge to my room again meant it was rejected at some point and a member of staff arrived at my hotel room with a credit card machine… it was just annoying and not something I would expect from a hotel chain such as this….. small things ruin holidays … This was the second hotel I stayed in whilst in Bali and in comparison the first one didn’t want a credit card deposit and I just settled the bill when I left.

Every request took two to three times to be completed. On my last day it took FOUR (4) calls and about three hours (!) to the front desk to have a copy of my bill; I was checking out at 4:30am and wanted to review prior to departure. The wait staff by the "quiet" pool were great! The bellman area were a constant dis-appointment. I will state that the cost of dining and drinking at the hotel were very favorable. And, finally, while my guest room was "ok" you can tell it's in need of a renovation or at least an update.

Property was uncontactable for a week (claimed by Wotif) to amended our travel dates meaning we had to pay for extra nights we didn’t stay because Hyatt has a policy about being unable to amend third party bookings and didn’t care about written communication proving attempts to change dates to alleviate cancellation charges. Air con in room didn’t work. Bed was terrible. Staff are lovely but management apathetic to complaint and refused to refund overcharge despite attempts made to contact them leading up to arrival. Very disgusting manner.

It took over 30 minutes to check in and took over 1 hour to luggages delivered. Breakfast was overcrowded; we had to move to several restaurants, and five people had to squeeze into a four-person table every day.

Très bel hôtel, chambre très grande, propre et confortable avec une jolie vue. Belles piscine dont une avec toboggan. La nourriture est bonne. Cependant, le service n’est pas à la hauteur. À l’arrivée, on vous offre une boisson et une serviette fraîche mais il faut aller les chercher sois même dans une armoire vitrée… étonnant surtout quand on vient de l’hôtel d’a côté (Ayodya Resort) où le service est bien meilleur. Pareil côté restauration, tous les restaurants ferment à 21:30 donc passée cette heure, il vous reste le room service ou le sport bar avec des snacks. Au lounge, on a commandé un mocktail et la serveuse revient on disant désolé on n’a plus de bananes… bref le sens du service pour le standing est déconcertant (on a été au Hayatt Jogyjakarta et c’était bien mieux côté service). À choisir et pour le prix on ira plutôt au Ayodya si on revient.

Top notch hotel, well located next to the Bali collection shopping and restaurant district. Nice pool, with the option of walking along the beach. Very courteous staff and free bottled water provided.

Excellent hotel. Great location, just opposite Bali Collection. Grounds are very well kept. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nothing to fault.

Walakable to shops. Great resort facilities. And staff were great. Price wise is more expensive than some resorts around it. Other than that, great resort.

Fantastically facility. Great for kids. Outdoor mall nearby for food options. But a bit sanitized - a gated community isolated from the slightly chaotic “real Bali” that I kinda like.

Big hotel, so you have to walk a lot, but the walkways are lovely made - nature and greenery. We love that it is close the the outdoor mall Bali connection, so you don’t have to eat all the time in the hotel or order a taxi.

Staying at the Grand Hyatt is a lovely experience but there are a few things I would’ve like to have known before we booked; - Nusa Dua is a resort mecca, it’s basically a gated community of resorts and while that does mean it’s very safe, it’s also not within walking distance of anything other than other resorts. If you’re looking for a peaceful resort stay it’s excellent but that’s not really my cup of tea. - It’s extremely child friendly, it’s perfect for families but if you don’t have kids maybe consider travelling outside of school holidays or going elsewhere. - Buildings are a little dated, still quite nice but just worth keeping in mind. Overall a gorgeous stay and the staff are superb, definitely a highlight, but if you’re after a more local experience it’s not the place to be.

Perfect location. All staff very professional and friendly. Sports Bar disappointing. Should have more food on the menu like burgers, fries, pizza. Music (DJ) was great. Was great to see a team cleaning up the beach where lots of rubbish had been swept up onto the beach from the ocean.

A wonderful resort hotel close to the airport.

Hotel molto grande su una bellissima spiaggia perfetto per i viaggi in famiglia o per lavoro. Piscina enorme ottimi ristoranti all interno Situato in una zona esclusiva di Bali quartiere protetto all ingresso.

We stayed for 3 nights with the all inclusive package. Highly recommend! The resort is beautiful, the food is amazing and the pool is fantastic!

Although the property is very beautiful the food options weren't great. They have 4 different restaurants who pffer a buffet and all options were limited. Rather than having one big buffet with all options

Some of the food options were very very expensive. Teppanyaki was not worth the cost or the amount of time the dinner took. The Bali buffet with the show was very worth it
