Very nice hotel & very well located close to railway station. Staff in bar however were not friendly & there wasnt enough staff working there hence long delay for food. We ate in restaurant both nights of our stay & were looked after so well by a friendly waitor called Alex........5 stars for Alex for his patience & friendly manner!

No onsite parking. It’s close, and once we made the reservation we received the instructions. The hotel subsidized the fee. Car park was secure and only a short walk. Would not have been fun in the rain, but we were lucky.

Very nice hotel. Front desk staff helpful. Conveniently located. Large parking facility around the corner. My only complaint was the not so friendly bar tender.

Hotel is in an excellent location. Walkable to the City Hall and centre. Close to the train & bus station. Breakfast buffet has a good range of items, replenished constantly. Beds very comfortable, towels in good condition. Room was very humid, we had a tall fan in the room which helped. However the fan was not clean, every time we turned it on it blew out lots of fluff & dust. I tried to clean it but just seemed to loosen more! The bathroom has shower gel, shampoo & hand soap in dispensers. The holders for the bottles do not give enough room for the pump action to work, bad design? Different sized bottle? We reported these issues to reception as we checked out so hopefully will be looked at and fixed. We would recommend this hotel if the toiletries were free flowing and the fans given an internal clean! Belfast is a great place to visit.

Quick check-in, nice rooms, comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again. Only think we noticed was that the floors didn't seemed hoovered and was quite dirty in our room.

Room was dirty ... crumbs on floor, dried food on bedside table, mouldy shower and showerhead, wrong plug for sink. Comfortable bed but awful pillows. Hotel was very noisy ... slamming doors and thuds heard all night. Breakfast okay. We were supposed to stay again after a short trip but cancelled and booked elsewhere. Won't be back.

We appreciated our stay globally speaking. The hotel is very well located. To be noted: 4-star hotel that does not provide slippers and a lot of dust in the room (kettle plate support, glass shelf in the bathroom and in the fan)

Booked family room and i got a sofa-bed for two boys which was not big enough. Stains on carpet and room stank of cigarette smoke. Bathroom abit dated. Room supposed to be ready for 3 but not ready until 4:30, very understaffed in bar area and in reception. Breakfast was good.

Beds and pillows are uncomfortable , bathroom was smelly and not clean, we took a room for three people , was enough space and beds but no towels , I would have paid extra 30 dollars for another hotel and it would have been more comfortable, but I checked the reviews and was misguided to book it , reviews were misleading

The supposed check in time was 3pm, unfortunately when we arrived at the hotel, the room was not yet ready. We were only able to checked in at 415pm. In addition, there was molds on the bathroom tiles. Distance wise from the city centre, it is the best location.

Staff were super friendly which was great. On arrival the sofa bed in our room was not made up and had to phone down to reception twice for help with this. Took an hour to get the bed made up. Meanwhile it was getting late and I had two children with me that needed to go to bed. When the man came he was lovely and really polite and helpful. No air con in rooms and room was hot so led to an uncomfortable night sleep even with the window open. Stain on the floor in bedroom also. Not the best of stays. Staff were so friendly though so couldn’t fault them.

I stayed in an Executive Room, which sounds more grandiose than it actually was; a nice big bed for sure (and very comfortable it was too!) but there was little else that distinguished it from a regular room . Perhaps maybe a bath as well as a shower. My TV didn’t work, which was a minor irritation, but other than that it was fine. I had just expected more from a premium room.

Hotel is not 4 star. I would say 3 star,for following reasons 1. Not vaccumed daily,glasses,cups or spoon replaced 2. Only 1 business chair and 1 spoon in room 3. Only 1 USB port,not enough for today's needs. 4 Room way too hot 27deg! 5. Cannot open window more than 2" ,at top, for safety. Fan left in room was noisy and totally inadequate. Bathroom needs updated and difficult to use soap dispenser because collar on it does not allow you to depress pump! Cannot adjust shower height... Pleasant staff,breakfast good selection but needs to be labelled as you have no idea what anything is, other than the obvious. Juices etc need to be cold,not lukewarm. Positive..... very central and more than adequate for a few nights but no longer

Stayed in a family room sofa bed and double, the double was comfortable the sofa bed mattress was very thin and springy. Good breakfast selection, nice staff, good central location. Parking not onsite, at nearby multistorey, quite expensive even with the discount

We loved our stay at Leonardo, will likely never stay anywhere else in Belfast. Pros: Location was not just good, it was perfect, walking distance to main transit hub at city hall, train and bus station. Biggest room we had in Europe. Good price. Reservation said it was a double bed, but I believe it was a queen and quite comfortable. Bathroom was a good size. Shower was good. Bath products offered were good. Breakfast was one of the best hotel ones I have seen (quality and number of options). Blackout curtains were very dark. The only con was the room was quite warm and we could only open the window a crack.

Great location. Large, clean room with good amenities. No air conditioning. Room was very hot. Room was located near the lifts, background lift noise was constant. Hand soap/shampoo/shower gel dispenser did not fit the bottles well, so it was very difficult to extract the product.

Location of the Leonardo Hotel was excellent, a close walk to shopping and many restaurants. Staff member Alex went above and beyond for us, helping us with arrangements for a Black Cab tour and calling the owner of the Hop On Hop Off bus company when we were having a problem catching the bus.

I booked two rooms. My colleague was given a key to his room. When he opened the door this room was already occupied. Thankfully the occupants were away at the time. This could be a major safety issue. I think the hotel may need to review its process of checking out guests and ensuring the rooms are vacant.

The stay was average. Location of the hotel is convenient and walking distance from City Centre and major tourist attractions. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. They got me the Black Cab Tour which was amazingly outstanding. Somehow efficiency is an area of concern.No one responds to phone calls from room, neither the bar, nor the reception, which is a major area of concern. Out of the three night stay, my room was cleaned only once, which again reflects poorly on the hotel.

While it was a brief 2 night stay, we were met at front desk by 2 lovely people, check in was seamless. Room was very clean with free water and tea/coffee and biscuits. Beds were very comfortable. We didn't eat in the hotela as we left early both mornings. Checkout was seamless and the reduced car park overnight rate was welcome!. Would thoroughly recommend as were were withing the cebtre of Belfast with wasy access to shops etc.

Had a good stay hotel staff very friendly and nice, bar staff very unfriendly namely the food and beverage supervisor seemed like he didn’t want to be there standing behind the bar and not serving customers or picking and choosing who to serve first needs to be retrained on customer service and be more welcoming. This happened on the 15/8/25 and I think it could be a reason the bar was quiet at that time.

Bedding for pull out couch, had to wait for 4 hrs for it. Only one person at desk nearly all the time and massive queues. One roll of toilet Paper in room for four and if you ask for more you get one more roll

we arrived after 3pm and there were no rooms ready. a number of customers were complaining to the reception staff. obviously they have problems recruiting housekeeping staff and this is an ongoing situation as we discovered on previous visits. it appears to be the same in the restaurant area.

We have stayed here several times this was by far the worst. We areived at 3pm to check in and relax a little before we had to go for a 6pm event. We could not check in till 4 40pm as the rooms were not ready. There was no attempt to let us know this was the case until we arrived There was no attempt to keep us informed The room was very noisy and hot The pillows were horribly hard Other guests allowed their children to shout and scream running wild on the corridors well after 10pm. The adults then did the shame after midnight before having a domestic at 3.30 Very poor

Excellent location in Belfast. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Large shopping area is close and very walkable. Rooms are comfortable and well sized. Don’t skimp on the number of days in Belfast and in this place. The only issue is parking is a bit clunky.

AVOID!!! We have never had such a terrible breakfast in what is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. We arrived early and paid separately for breakfast. My husband is vegetarian and you would expect a good choice of what is available after having read the reviews. However, there was only bread and jam/marmalade available for him. The fresh tomatoes were in a pan in oil. He asked if there was perhaps some cucumber, cheese and olives. the staff member said she would go and check but never got back to him. When he asked her about it she said there was none and they were busy... That is terrible service, to try and fob customers off. Staff looked as though they were run ragged and there were clearly not enough staff working. The only items available were sausage, bacon, eggs, beans. Even the American tourists there were complaining. Items were not being replenished. No cheese, no fruit, no yogurt! There wasn't a manager coming to check on the food and the staff. The second day we had our breakfast included in our stay and we thought that things would improve - sadly not! Porridge wasn't cooked and was nearly cold. Again, we had to make do with bread, cheese and jam. Leonardo hotel, you must do better. We didn't enjoy our stay here

Hotel was well located just one street away from City Hall. Rooms were a good size. Hotel was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Breakfast, however left a lot to be desired. What we had was tasty enough but never hot and loads of things such as fruit bowl, yoghurt, jam pots etc were always empty! Toiletries provided by hotel were sustainable but found it difficult with pumps to get enough shampoo or soap out of them. Stayed in a Leonardo in London and it was amazing. Thought same chain might have same standards but sadly not.

Stayed here for one night. Paid for an executive room, while it was spacious I wouldn’t say executive was the right description. Air con didn’t work well so room was very warm, it also turns itself off which meant I had to wake up twice to turn it back on. Bed was comfy and shower pressure was good. Breakfast area was chaotic and not very clean. Food quality and options were poor for 4 star hotel. Location very good. Would I stay again, unfortunately no

Great stay in this hotel. Parking only a 2 minute walk away. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean. Excellent location for walking around city centre. Breakfast was excellent too. Lots of options. Only slight issue was dining for dinner, few options on the menu werent available. And thought it was a bit expensive for what we got. But still, overall had an enjoyable meal. Would recommend this hotel

Very nice hotel. Rooms were spotless (except for trash can in Bathroom had nail polish on Kleenex in it). Very comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet room. Nice breakfast service. The bar/restaurant service was spotty. Table food service was terribly slow. Seemed that bar service was more important than food orders and delivery. Good was good when it did arrive I would stay here again! Great downtown location
