It is in an old building with original features, the location is convenient close to restaurants, shopping and transportation although a (paid) parking space was made available for me. It has a good buffet breakfast and the staff are very friendly, it is clean and hospitable. I would recommend staying here!

I will be staying again. Staff very welcoming and friendly, day time staff and night shift. I had a room at rear of hotel facing garden. It was so quiet that I could hardly hear the large music event in the park close by. Really enjoyed my room with comfortable bed and sheets, towels etc kindly refreshed everyday. One item I would like is a set of drawers for clothes, other than that perfect and really look forward to my next visit.

Nice hotel, perfect location, beautiful breakfast room but there was a wedding party with extremely loud music going on until very late. Our beds vibrated with the music! Staff said they could not do anything about it. I have come here several times over the years but this was the last time.

The hotel claimed to provide an English breakfast for £20 however this was very poor. they don’t use a proper kitchen. The practice rewarming pre-boiled eggs is very dangerous. I think this was responsible for my food poisoning!!!!
