Hotel Hubert Grand Place

Excellent boutique hotel within walking distance of Centraal Station and Grand Place. Trendy bar / coffee area. Rooms were well equipped, free Nespresso and sparkling water on tap! Fridge in the room also useful. Big fluffy towels and very comfy bed. Occasional gentle rumble from Metro somewhere below but otherwise quiet. Only negative was that our aircon didn't work on first night and we subsequently got a room change - this has been mentioned in other reviews, so check functionality on arrival. Good small supermarket nearby and plenty of bars and restaurants that had a good vibe.

Friendly staff, free coffee bar choices, free accessible drinking and sparkling water. The gym was well equipped. Close and walkable to the transportation centers.

The proximity of the gym just below the rooms on floors 2 and 3 means you can’t wake up in peace when at 6am you can clearly hear the boom boom of the music and the coach’s shouts. Too bad for a hotel. Apart from that, the hotel is fine. Just ask for a from at least on the 4th floor.

We were in town for only two nights and stayed at Hotel Hubert. Perfect spot, 5 minute walk from the train all attractions. The hotel itself was very nice and suited our needs very well. The staff was gracious and courteous. Our room was comfortable and clean. Exceptional gym facility as well. Definitely would go back.

The hotel is conveniently about 400m from Central Station and really close to the Grand Place. The signage around the building is quirky and quite funny. Water was available in still and sparkling varieties around the building free of charge too. We loved the free coffee, tea and games of pool in the lobby. The bar had quite reasonable prices too and like that the hotel services and bar was in the one place. The Wifi was super quick. We liked the opt-in nature of room cleaning and appreciated the eco-friendly manner the hotel conducts itself in. The room was a good size and the bed was super comfortable, we also liked that a few English non-news channels were available on the TV (BBC One and Two). Would recommend this hotel to others in a heartbeat.

Very nice hotel with cool lobby area and amazing gym.

The hotel is really nice, the room and bed were comfortable and the staff was very friendly. There is a really nice coffee machine in the lobby for free coffee, cappuccino, tea, etc. and there was a glass bottle in the room for you to fill with either still or sparkling water right by the elevator, which we loved! The location was excellent and we could walk everywhere, and the area felt safe. The A/C didn't seem to cool much. We didn't try the food because there are too many great places to eat nearby.

Absolutely perfect for a short break in Brussels. Ideally located and staff excellent. Pool table and coffee machine the cherry on top!

Really great hotel! We enjoyed our stay there. The room was spacious and updated, the lobby area is very large and welcoming with lots of comfortable seating, and access to an incredible gym (not a standard hotel gym). Carbonated and still water machines on each floor a nice bonus. Good location right near the Grand Place/old town center, and also a few minutes walk from the central train station. Staff were friendly and let us check-in early for no additional fee as the room was available.

Very comfortable and immaculately clean. The hotel is perfectly situated near to the key sights and attractions, with one or two gems of eateries also within striking distance. Perfect location for our long weekend away!

This hotel is in a good location but the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. There were sticky substances on various surfaces including the bed lights, old food in the fridge, and general smell of mustiness in the rooms. The gym and other facilities are top notch. Good option if you don’t plan to spend a lot of time in your hotel room.

Room did not have an external window, only a window which overlooked the main hotel lobby and elevators which was odd. The room was far too hot, you couldn’t control the temperature and also the drains smelled awful. So much so that we could not leave the bathroom door open. It was disgusting. I don’t like to spend my vacations complaining and changing rooms so I didn’t. Really disappointing stay but the main lobby was lovely as were the staff. They need to sort the basics out, I’ve subsequently read other reviews reporting the same issues.

Lobby, gym, coffee and staff were good and the location was quite convenient. The room was very small, smelled musty like old cigarette smoke had been embedded in the flooring. The carpets were worn and stained. The room was extremely small and dark had no access to natural light, the only widow faced the elevator. The hotel should be rated more accurately at 3 stars.

A really nice hotel, well decorated and spotlessly clean. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. The free coffee in the foyer was a bonus. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Grand Place and the tour bus stops. I’d definitely recommend this hotel, it will be my first choice if I return to Brussels

There was a stale smell to the room

So clean! Kudos to the housekeeping team! Very ecelectic, hip and relaxed vibe. Enjoy the free Nespresso coffee as you take in the decor.Eco friendly and thoughtful. Entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Dog welcoming property too; I didnt bring mine I enjoyed watching theirs. :) Super comfortable beds & pillows and nice fluffly towels. They even allowed us to stow our luggage prior to check in so we could go sightsee right away! ONLY very slight downside was the tiny european bathroom to me, as an American... I know, Im spoiled! The toilet faced up against the vanity so my knees barely fit (I have a 28 inch inseam) and we had to shimmy past the toilet to access the shower. Not the tiniest Ive been in, but for example my small elderly mom wouldn't have been able to do it, however I was ok. We liked it so much we booked it again for our return trip!

Unfortunately we wish we hadn’t stayed at this hotel. We were fooled by the catchy website and the four star rating. The lobby, staff, and free Nespresso in the lobby were great. The rooms were horrible. Beds and pillows hard as a rock, and you could hear water running from other suites. The rooms are dark and cramped and need to be refreshed. The carpet is filthy. Barely a two star hotel, with high prices that don’t match.

There is no AC, the AC is locked and is not operable. The window is also locked and cannot be opened.

We only had a one night stop over in Brussels and this hotel was super close to the train station and a very short walk. The unmarked reception desk is a laptop at the end of the bar and is easy to miss (as did the couple who arrived just after us). The staff is excellent and most helpful. The rooms are small and ours faced into the courtyard overlooking the lobby so it was rather dark but very quiet at night. The rooms are clean and comfortable. All in all, we found this a perfect place to stay for a quick, one or two night stay in the heart of the city.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. They have free coffee/tea service downstairs, sparkling or still water for the room, and even a disco elevator. The rooms are on the small side, but on par for places we have stayed in Europe. I wish they had more storage for clothes. You can't beat the location, walkable to so many things, 5 minutes to Gare Central and Grand Place. The staff is welcoming and the place was always being cleaned. Definitely would stay again.

Sadly the room was incredibly hot with no means to cool it down. There was a fan system but this circulated very muggy, dense air and was not air conditioned. We could not sleep properly due to this and hated chilling in our room - it was a sauna. Having a young baby with us made this a very unpleasant and uncomfortable stay. Our mattress was also on the soft side and offered limited support. if you book the hotel, contact them and ensure you get a ventilated, cooler room. Apart from this, it would have been great. Sadly we weren't so luck this time around

The hotel is in a god location because it is easy to walk to everything but not too loud. The style of the hotel is awesome and they have all the amenaties that you need. The only down side is that the rooms are a little small with minimal storage options.

The hotel had a convenient location, and I generally appreciated the interior design. However, the room was quite small and faced the inner courtyard, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast, priced at €20 per person, felt restrictive as someone monitored what guests were taking, making it less enjoyable. Overall, the experience felt overpriced for the quality offered.

Unser Zimmer (Doppelzimmer) war sehr klein. Da wir zwei Handgepäckkoffer hatten, ging das. Aber mit großen Koffern, wäre das echt ein Problem gewesen. Wir hatten ein Fenster zum Innenhof. Tageslicht oder frische Luft sind nicht vorhanden. Aber generell super Lage und für uns als Paar ohne Kinder super.

No drawers in the room, very bizarre. There is one clothes rail with eight hangers, for anything else you need to keep it in your case. The sink plug didn't work so water just drained away when trying to use it. The shower should have had two screens but only one watt present, consequently when you used it water went all over the bathroom floor. Room service want very good, leaving dirty cups in the room. We went out one day and came back at five in the evening to find the room hadn't been cleaned, we didn't report it but fifteen minutes later a chamber maid knocked on the door asking to clean the room! It's all very bizarre. The rooms are small. On the plus side it's very close to the main tourist attractions and the station

On this particular trip to Europe, we traveled for just over two weeks. We stayed in four different hotels for multiple nights, but our itinerary only allowed for one night in Brussels so we were only at this hotel for the one night. As it turns out, it was our favorite among all our hotels on this trip. Staff was excellent and offered two great suggestions for experiencing the local cuisine. We took one of their suggestions for lunch and the other for dinner and both were great choices. The lobby area was reasonably upscale and was a great place to sit and enjoy a drink. In the end, we wished we had had more than one night here.

確かにスタイリッシュ！でもそれは一階のロビーのみ。 　 フロントデスクは無く、カフェカウンターのスタッフがPC持って対応するのみ。 　 スタッフはそれなり。しかし、友人宅に来てるのでないので、それなりには対応してほしい。 高慢なのはこのランクのタイプのホテルなら普通なので、暖かいサービスを求めようと思ったら英語とかでコミュニケーション取れないと無理。何か頼むと面倒くさそうな顔で無言。 ドアが非常に重い。吹き抜けに面した部屋で、部屋は窓に施錠が施され開けることもできず凄い閉塞感。少しでも開けられたらいいと思う。浴室とかに換気扇もなく、へやにいたたまれない。ずっも隣室で咳をしてるのが1晩中聞こえた。どれだけ壁が薄いのかと思った。

Nice hotel with very comfortable beds. Automated check-in, but staff available to help if you need it. My only issue: Upon returning from dinner in the evening, I discovered that the AC/Heat wasn't working in my room. Contacted reception, and was told by the young women who answered the phone, that she could not help me, that I would have to wait for her boss to return form his break. She added, he would be back in 5 min. 15 min later, I called again, and was told the same thing. After another 15 min, reception stopped answering the phone, so I went down. Again, told the same thing. It had now been almost 45 minutes of waiting, so I insisted she contact her boss to find out exactly when he would be back. I suspect that she had never contacted him at all. Again, told 5 minutes. I stated that I was going to complain to the booking company and returned to my room. 10 minutes later, "the boss" knocked on my door. He offered to rove me to another room, but first we checked the room together to make sure everything was working. It was now close to midnight, and I had to repack everything to change rooms. The hotel itself was quite nice, and I would not give a bad review based on bad service from only one employee. I guess, my pet peeve is hotels that put you in a room without prior checking to make sure everything works.

The staff here doesn’t like to be bothered. They don’t want to speak to you or help.

My girlfriend and I were given white glove services from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. The staff was very professional and had an answer for any questions we had. The lobby is excellent with a nice bar, pool table, and top-of-the line free coffee maker. I’d love to return and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Brussels

Hubert was in the perfect location for a short trip to Brussels. SO close to all the major sights and the added bonus of having a great cafe next door for a quick breakfast before heading out. The room was so pretty but small so I would not stay there for more than 2 or 3 nights but very well organized. Love the central hub of the living room downstairs. Great vibe and coffee! We did not try the "dining room" in the van but it looked cool. We would definitely go back.

Very convenient location near Grand Place and Central rail station for airport. Hotel lobby area was a great place to relax with free coffee. Room was small but well appointed, clean and well furnished. Perfect for a weekend break; we would stay there again next time we are in Brussels

While our room was quiet, because we faced the inner courtyard, it was also dark. The biggest challenge was that we were driving, and parking is a bit of a walk away, and there is no place to stop and drop off your bags in front of the hotel because traffic was crazy. We would’ve probably enjoyed it more, but it was incredibly hot and crowded in central Brussels.

Lovely - only small issue was regular rumble from underground trains which is no fault of hotel and gets you by surprise walking in road too!

Great downtown location!

This was our 2nd stay during this trip to Belgium. It was a no-brainer to come back! Such a cool relaxed vibe and so clean and friendly. And so close to Central Station to easily get all around the city via train or metro. Also right by Grand Place and Galleries Royal St Hubert with all their shopping and restaurants.

Very nice hotel with interesting and unique design of common area with complimentary coffee and little snacks and fruits. Would certainly consider coming back!

Perfect location for walking to the sights or catching public transit. Front desk staff was oriented and very kind and helpful. Despite food menu at the bar area I was told there is no food available (there is a nice cafe for breakfast) so drinks but no food to go with. Nice room - very well appointed with plenty of towels!! Great value for the money!!

Amazing place, amazing staff and amazing location. An extra bonus was the breakfast/brunch place tied in to the hotel. Amazing food and food options!

Loved this hotel so much. They were so nice. They are attached to a restaurant for breakfast. The bar is great and well stocked with a chic lobby. The room is clean and comfortable. Great walking distance to Brussels central station and Grand place. Would love to stay here again.

Lovely hotel and walking distance from everything. The hotel looks very modern and is clean. The navigation to nearby landmarks is very easy. The negatives I would say, would be the self check in is a little confusing, but someone did come and help us. And if your room is facing the main road it can be loud. Good thing I’m a heavy sleeper. Also the breakfast options are not great. Luckily we didn’t pay for breakfast and there are lots of cafes nearby.

Nice hotel In excellent central location. Comfortable bed but I found it quiet noisy as echos from the lobby came up to the 3rd floor. Great coffee machine in the reception but it confused me why the need for nespresso machines in each room?? The foodmaker restaurant attached didn’t really supply great variety for breakfast and it was a shame it closed for the day before noon. The best thing about the hotel in my opinion was the fitness centre in the basement, great equipment in a unique setting. I just found it expensive for what it was but enjoyable none the less

The Hubert hotel in Brussels is one of the most fantastic, convenient, safe, creative, and artful places I have ever stayed in the world. Every single interaction with the team there was premier. I had no problem adding an extra night, getting an Uber to the airport or taking the train, which is on the same block. There is a wonderful Lebanese restaurant in the lobby, along with a pool table and other food and drink choices and 24 hour, free coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and fresh fruit. The rooms were clean, compact, had a window to a courtyard, and the bathrooms were spotless with exceptionally warm and hot water running all hours of the day. Staying at this hotel, so close to the meeting point for tours, the grand place, shopping, and hundreds of restaurants and bars, as well as brilliant nearby, tourist attractions, enabled me to have one of my best trips ever!
