The floors were very dirty taps were oily very dusty parking i paid extra $70 but not guranteed even after i paid i was told if i dont find parking when i come back to park at Mcdonalds but to move before 6am how stupid and parking at mcdonalds cost only $25 per day these guys charged me $70 and still ??

i enjoyed my time at this location.the bathroom especially felt like i was in one of the blocks bathrrom the shower head was half the size of me which i never seen before. very clean and tidy room. how ever there was an issue with parking as someone blocked me in and i could leave as no one knew who own the car thanfully another person staying manage to get my car out for me.

Was by far the best out of three motels we stayed at on our trip, being dog friendly was the icing on the cake!

We stayed in the family room. Parking was easy, 24 hour check-in.

A place to stay if you have a pet.

It's good for what it is, and doesn't pretend to be more. Comfy and convenient. Good parking which is hard to get in this location! Staff were great on check in and check out. Basic rooms, but enough space for a night or two in the family room.

Great pet friendly hotel for an overnight stay.

This is honestly the worst place i have stayed in, the bed looked like it was already laid in when we got to the room, when you look at the couch its a different colour due to dirt and stains, there was no hot water in the shower forced to have cold showers, dust and spiderwebs around the room, Room not as described when booking, wall had dirty marks all over them, and the room genuiely smelt would not recommend to anyone. I have stayed in Ibis from scotland/UK and aus and this is absouelty appauling

Very Very dirty. Dog food on the floor. Water on floor, side tables and bed.

It was a comfortable stay. Clean rooms and helpful staff.

The room was substandard for a big price! 1) the cisten ran the whole time and we had to turn it off and on when we needed to. Impossible to sleep when it was running. 2) Electrical fault. Lights went out at 10pm on Thursday. Thought it was a blackout but rest of motel had lights. 3) Door did not fit properly and had to be slammed really HARD to shut. Inside lock broken. 4) Carpet was filthy. 5) Some mold in shower. My husband has Parkinson’s and shutting the door, and moving without lights was impossible for him. IBIS should be ashamed of this facility and should give us a refund.

One nights stay. Very clean, modern and well equipped room. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. We will stay here again. Highly recommend

Good location but overpriced. At this price point and Airbnb offers better value. The room was tired looking and the bathroom looked clean but the presence of the previous occupants' hair on the sink and walls was not great. I can forgive the cockroach in the bathroom because Australia.

Super clean and friendly staff

The room had carpets that were soaked in one part of the room away from the bathroom or taps. It was clear they were aware of it as the second was pushed in front of the TV in front of the room. Due to this there was a musty smell in the room. The staff were notified but no action was taken and the place remained in the same condition. The parking area was full and we had to park illegally on the road overnight and move the vehicle.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable which is the main thing. But a few things disappointing. The top bunk had the split system facing straight onto it which made that bed almost unusable unless not using the split system. Other friend's staying at same place had a microwave and some basic cutlery, we didnt have anything except cups and a teaspoon. We booked knowing we didnt have a kitchen but most places have those basic things.

Poor lighting in room. Curtains did not close completely. AC was very loud and making clicking sound. Location was convenient for getting to activities and very quiet. Walking distance to nice pub for dinner

Clean and comfortable, provided the basics

I stayed here often as a public servant. It’s easy to get to on arriving in Canberra and is close to Civic for food etc. The room was small, at about 30 ~ 35 m2 (incl bathroom) with a queen and single. There was no space to put up the bag rack. No breakfast table. With 3 people it was like a squares puzzle to move around. Squashy. The bathroom door opened into the room and had no latch on it. When will these motels put power points by both sides of the bed so I can charge my phone and access it from the bed? The “fridge” was micro, sort of cool but didn’t freeze the cooler bricks and didn’t really cool the food. We threw out the meat the next day. I suspect it was a wine chiller, not a recognised fridge. There were a few spider egg sacks between the front wall and cupboard. by the front door. We weren’t asked for feedback when we left so I assume they aren’t interested. Ok for budget for a small family or couple but I doubt it would suit business travel any longer.

Noisy air con Bathroom floor tiles a hazard when wet

The room was clean and tidy. The bunk beds were positioned poorly under the air conditioning system and the top bunk bed is not ideal to sleep that close to the a/c unit. I couldn’t put my child there to sleep. The continental breakfast was terrible and do not recommend wasting your money for breakfast there. Options were toast, tinned fruit, Kellogg sustain cereal. Not even a teaspoon to stir your tea and no coffee. Otherwise the room itself was clean, tidy and staff were friendly. I would stay again but ask for no breakfast and move the bunk beds in the family room.

Beds were comfy, shower great along with shampoo etc. Only downside for us was an outside light being on all night right outside our room and the curtains didn’t fully cover the windows. Otherwise would come back again.

The beds were comfortable. Motel is very dated, heater didn’t work the best.

We drove over 9hours and arrived 30mins early for check in. I asked if we could please check in early as we were exhausted yet we were told no and to come back in 30mins. Rooms were noisey, outdated, beds super hard and we will not be back after the poor service and lack of care at check in.

Reception was very untrained on our second day we were told not to register for the second day as at 10am all access cards are cancelled so we need to pick up new cards the next day. We did this the male staff member at the desk who had difficulty with English language issued new cards and we left expecting as it was asked for we would chec out in the morning about 7.30 pm we received a phone call to say payment had to be made today, my wife had to dress and go to the office in the rain. Not happy in the morning there was no Hot Water plus an evacuation siren which was a fauls alarn triggered by some faulty wiring. we wont be back anytime soon

Staff were lovely. Nice, clean quiet accommodation. Impeccable cleaning! Good parking facilities. I would recommend the motel.

Hi Expedia customer service team, I like to complaint about this hotel because our room did not get clean and bedding was not done after the first night. I thought it wasn’t included but after i got home and I checked on your website it clearly mentioned house keeping. Also, we didn’t get a good sleep as the curtain in our room 209 was broken and it has a big hole and the room was very bright for us as the light outside of our window was on for the whole 2 nights of our stay. It clearly is not a 4 star hotel as it said Accor’s website. On your Expedia website, it indicated 3.5 which I trusted but am quite disappointed. Missing housekeeping is simply unprofessional. Please ask hotel for a partial refund for our disturbed sleep and lack of service. We are loyal customers of Accor and Expedia but this time we have to speak up. From disappointed customer. Look forward to hearing from your team.

Convenient place to stay in quite back street

The Ibis Styles at Ainsley is a clean and quiet motel, very conveniently located. The facilities aren't amazing, but the rooms are modern and have everything you need for a very reasonable price.

This is comparatively inexpensive motel-style accommodation in a fairly convenient location. You won't find anything fancy but the rooms are reasonably well appointed.

We spent a week at The Ibis Tall Trees motel which is conveniently located in the Ainslie area of Canberra. There’s a local shopping centre within easy walking distance where we bought groceries, had a meal with friends, bought some amazingly good lamingtons, refilled a prescription at the chemist, found a good book at a free book library stand, and if we had time I would have gone to one of the two hairdressing salons there. There are two sets of dinnerware including mugs and glasses if you want to have a meal or two in your room. A bit further away is the larger Dickson Shopping Centre and access to the tram line for travel to downtown Canberra as well as the EPIC Showgounds and further on to the end in Queanbeyan. The friendliness of the front desk and auxiliary staff were commendable. It did seem that the motel was full or nearly so at times - I feel this impacted on the cleaning staff’s ability to thoroughly clean and vacuum our room at times. All in all - a great experience - and we’ll be back!

The property was ok, about standard. Beds were fine, roof in bathroom and ahower head need replacement in the family room. The shower head was spraying water from the fitting which was a frustration. Unfortunately the photos shown of the family room with 2 x double bunks beds does not exist (quite misleading) and proved a frustration when you ha e two kods both wanting the top bunk. Also inspite of wotif advertising the hotel has a breakfast option, the hotel said they havent for some time as the restaurant has been closed so would be good if wotif stopped advertising it and charging the extra fees.

Nice hotel in a quiet part of Canberra, however, we did have noise when people decided to ride some e-scooters up and down the road right behind the hotel (and our bedroom window) late one evening - this obviously isn't the hotel's fault, but since it is placed in a residential area there can be neighbourhood noise. The room was clean and was serviced each day. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. There was only a bar fridge and a kettle in the room with some cups. No plates, bowls or cutlery other than spoons for stirring tea/coffee and no microwave, so we had to eat out for every meal.

I didn't like the fact that the dining room was closed and you could only get a small, boxed breakfast, and that this was not included in information when booking.

Breakfast was paid for but the condition of the restaurant and breakfast table was terrible, asked for a refund for breakfast, was advised will be refunded, but it’s been 3 weeks, nothing

We were very impressed with the room and staff at the ibis Styles Canberra Tall Trees Hotel. The only disappointment was the fact that the bistro was closed.
