The Hotel itself is Quite a Stunning Looking Period Place. The Deck out front has a Lovely Seating Area Outdoor and gazebo under the mature Trees with great lighting for the Ambience. The Location is Perfect for Walking to Great Restaurants or the Ocean Frontage

Very quaint, clean, comfortable inn with carpeted floors with very friendly and accommodating staff. The suite had a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, separate shower stall, and double vanity. We appreciated the mini-fridge with a freezer component and a microwave in the room. The parking on premise was a bonus, as is the ability to walk to the harbor and downtown area within 8-10 minutes. There is no restaurant service but a small bar area that serves beer and wine.

This is a great spot in downtown Charlottetown that is close to everything. The room was very clean and quite spacious. It would be lots of room for 3-4 people honestly. The one downside to this place is that the parking lot is a bit small if every room is occupied.

Lovely property but was scaled back on services at the time. Lovely dining room and deck with tables/seating but no meals offered, only take-away coffee in the AM. Husband was not thrilled about carrying our luggage up 3 flight of stairs (our suite was in the "annex") but rooms were fine.

Loved our stay here - great to have a free parking lot which they allowed us to use before our actual check-in so we could walk around Charlottetown. Very close to Confederation Center for the Arts. Super comfortable beds! We stayed in the Annex which was well appointed and very quiet. Highly recommend!

Very simple room that was comfortable and clean. We had stayed in the main building previously and that building has so many antiques and personality. This part of the hotel is much plainer and nothing special in decor. We really enjoyed the morning coffee as the weather was nice and we could sit out on the communal patio area. Excellent location close to everything downtown. Front desk staff were very friendly. Parking can be difficult as there is very limited hotel parking so we had to street park at times.

From the outside, the hotel looked a bit dated, so I was a little worried about the interior — but I ended up having a wonderful stay. First of all, the location was excellent. It was incredibly convenient to be within walking distance of both downtown and the waterfront. Parking was also easy — there was a lot behind the building, and since our room was on the ground floor, we were able to park very close to the room, which was super convenient. The staff at check-in were friendly and quick. When we got to the room, we were pleasantly surprised — it was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was spacious and spotless, and the amenities were plentiful. I would definitely consider booking here again.

Great location for walking into Charlottetown & close to a wide variety of restaurants. The room seemed clean but had a slight musty smell. The bedding was old and yellowed with age in places and the blanket was itchy. We stayed in the annex on floor 2 and the noise from people moving around in the room above and the water running in their bathroom was very loud.

Beautiful Inn in a great location with easy access to restaurants. The rooms are opulent and clean. Beds are comfortable and great coffee in the morning was a cherry on top. We enjoyed our stay and we recommend Dundee Arms to others.

By far our favourite place in PEI!! Such an amazing old building, but so well maintained. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We stayed in the main building (inn) and it was a large room, with the most comfortable beds.

The room that we had was very large with lots of storage and they were able to accommodate a cot. The beds were small and the bathroom was below average.

Enjoyed the unique old Victorian era charm of the decor in the room and property but with modern amenities. Our suite was very spacious. The large bathroom had a jetted tub, dual sinks and we were provided with plush robes. Nice fireplace in the seating area with a very comfortable 4-poster canopy bed nestled in a turret alcove. The lighting was nice and could be bright or just side wall lights. The suite had a fridge and there was a coffee machine. Plus we could go downstairs and get fresh coffee or tea in the morning. The location was 10-minute walk to the Harborfront with lots of shops and great restaurants on route

The bathroom doorway in Room 28 is only 6 feet high. I cut my scalp by walking into it in the night. Seriously unsafe.

We stayed in the annex suite. The room had a king sleigh bed. The bedroom and living room were separated with doors that closed. There was a jacuzzi tub that my wife truly enjoyed.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were big, clean, mini fridge and microwave. A/C is very noisy, no elevator if stairs are an issue for you. They had towels and umbrellas to borrow for going to the beach. Not the fanciest, but we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room.

Staff was excellent upon arrival. We asked about getting a taxi a couple of hours later and she booked it for us and called when the cab was there.

The desk clerk was available when we needed help working the air conditioner. He came right away to help us.

The property is period perfect, very well preserved and represents the historical essence of Charlottetown. At check-in the staff member was fantastic, knowledgeable and very helpful. A suggestion for some of the other staff would be to become more knowledgeable of the tourist attractions in Charlottetown. Look forward to coming back to Dundee Arms Inn

Just stayed at the Dundee Arms Inn for three nights. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is amazing for walking around downtown Charlottetown and the water front. The room was bigger than expected, very clean and comfortable. We stayed on the third floor in the main building. The property is absolutely beautiful and the front patio area was perfect for summer evening night caps. No restaurant on site but very close to all the restaurants and pubs downtown. I would highly recommend for your stay and would stay again. Thank you for a great experience!

The Victorian style of the Dundee Arms Inn was so amazing, and the central location is very convenient! The staff were very friendly as well!

The impact of Covid is obvious. It is no longer a desirable destination. An excellent Restraunt and Bar are now a beer fridge (Poorly Stocked) and no Restraunt. The Dundee is nothing more than a roadside motel. Very sad.

Although dining was conveniently available at nearby restaurants it would have been an added plus to possibly have a continental breakfast option onsite.

Poor parking areas, very disappointed that they would not allow the guests to use the outdoor patio areas unless alcohol was purchased at their bar and could not bring food to the patio to sit outside with food unless purchased from a local restaurant

Location and the building were great. However there's no breakfast provided. There was no coffee available when we went to get a cup in the morning. We had to wait for staff to make more. House keeping came to our room late afternoon to change towels while we were trying to get ready for dinner. Main air conditioner wasn't working we needed to us a noisey window unit. Overall it wasn't bad but somewhat disappointing with a lot of little things that shouldn't happen when your paying a premium

I recently stayed at Dundee Arms in Charlottetown, PEI. The property has a unique European-style charm, especially noticeable at the front desk, which felt more like a quaint inn than a typical hotel. Special thanks to Navdeep at the front desk, who was very welcoming and cooperative throughout our stay. The room had some interesting additions that I haven’t seen in other hotels, like an in-room fire extinguisher and an umbrella, which was a nice touch. However, the rooms themselves are quite compact and feel a bit dated. Space was limited, making it hard to comfortably sit and have a meal in the room. The hotel features a lovely patio and indoor dining area, but unfortunately, there is no functioning restaurant on-site. These spaces are primarily used for drinks and were mostly empty during our visit. I was disappointed when I wasn’t allowed to use the patio to have my own food unless I purchased a drink from the bar. Given that the patio was nearly empty, it felt unreasonable to restrict its use to drink-purchasing customers only. Additionally, we faced a minor inconvenience with the shower tap. It didn’t turn on easily, and when I inquired at the front desk, I was told that the taps are stiff and need to be pulled with extra force. Parking is also quite limited, which could be challenging during peak times. Overall, while the ambiance and hospitality were pleasant, the cramped rooms, limited amenities, and strict patio policy took away from the experience. It’s a charm
