Fabulous! Great vibe. As a solo traveller, this is prob yhe best hotel Ive stayed in, in the UK. Enjoyed pool, steam room, etc. I stayed longer and upgraded my room. Massive telly. Comfy beds.

Very cute, intimate spa and pool. The staff were lovely throughout. We enjoyed a very reasonably priced meal in the main Squires Restaurant, had lots of drinks in the bar and took advantage of 24hr room service too. A great stay for my husbands birthday. We will be back

Had a very fine stay. Room spacious, lovely bed an linen. Bathroom fine. Enjoyed the pool and sauna, but struggled to get the pool receptionist’s attention twice when i needed a towel. It was quicker to go back to my room. Restaurant great, good food and young service staff who did a great job. Nice place.

Location is OK if toure travelling around the Kent area. Noise in the hotel is bad. Drink prices are extortionate..worse than any 5 star hotel. Pool should have robes for use without having to pay a non refundable amount. Exoensive hotel for what you get

Staff lovely, was just a shame our room hadn’t been properly cleaned/sorted out - there were still a number of items from previous guests, socks, food & other items in the cupboard that had been missed. Room did the job for the night for what we needed it for.

Checked into room and found it hadn’t been made up. Staff were very helpful and apologetic. Wasn’t happy that we had to pay overnight parking as wasn’t made aware when booking. Room has no air conditioning so very uncomfortable to sleep. Pillows were too hard for my taste. Bar area and courtyard were very nice.

Rooms are very basic and dated and furniture worn. Bath very slippery and no bath mat supplied. Window in corridor on 1st floor fully open with nothing to stop a child falling out. Stayed here years ago and were looking forward to return.

Check in was quick and very friendly and they reminded us that should we need anything, we only had to ring reception. The room was cold but quickly heated up once we turned on the heating. The electrics are dated, in the fact that there was a double socket next to the radiator, behind the front door and one free socket behind the TV. This would make it difficult if you needed to work on a lap top in the room. I would have liked USB chargers by the bed. An halloumi burger was ordered at a £5 room service charge, but was disappointing as the burger was very soft with all of the fillings. Breakfast conististed of fruits, yogurts, cereal, a machine for different coffees, juices, toast, sunny side up eggs, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, beans, sausages, vegetarian sausages on demand, bacon, French toast, pastries and cakes. There were no tongs for the bread, pastry and cakes, which would have been better. The spa was fully booked, so if you want a massage, I highly recommend that you book before your visit. Female changing rooms have 2 showers, which shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and 1 toilet. 2 heated tiled beds were on the upper level, and a pool, a small 4 seater steam room, a 4-6 seater sauna (4 strangers for personal space), and 3 showers. All were very nice and relaxing, however the pool space echos badly and there is no relaxing music which meant that some peoples conversations were irritating. There is no jacuzzi. Rochester is a 15min drive away, for restaurants

The bar area and reception were lovely. The staff super and helpful. The room was really really dated. Limited sockets (no usb points) carpet worn and stained, paint work chipped and furniture dated, bed bases very basic. Clean bedding and good towels and a wonderful supply of hot water for showers. For some reason the radiators were on everywhere so the hotel was stifling.

Nice hotel, had a room with adjoining door and could hear clearly the man next door on his phone, the tv and making a coffee so disturbed up until 11.45pm and had to leave at 5.30 so not much sleep, the hotel apart from the noise issue is very nice

I rate this hotel as fair mainly because the rooms were tired. Bedsheets, duvets were poor, the heater in toom wasnt working and the electric heater broight to me was on its last legs, literally. And the carpet was old. Bathroom rails were rusty

Checked in late so literally arrived and went to bed. The public areas looked nice. Never saw the spa. The room was fine but didn’t have air conditioning. There was a fan. The sockets were all inodd places so you couldn’t charge your phone other than across the room. Similarly with the fan. The bathroom looked a bit tired. Nice enough stay.

Slightly run down room, no plug sockets next to beds. Had to plug kettle in on the floor. Net curtains were ripped and torn. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Staff friendly, breakfast was of a good standard.

My first contact with staff was positive. Sadly, my next experience was far from pleasant. I booked a room for my friends under my name. When I brought some laundry up for my friends I was not allowed to take it to them but the staff member I spoke to said she would take it to them. This never happened. When I asked for an explanation I was told to stop being aggressive. Yep you're reading this correctly. Then I was branded a racist. I asked how am I being racist? Never got an answer to that question. A simple, I'm sorry I forgot to take the laundry to them might have been a better approach rather than making excuses.

This hotel is very tired. Some lovely seating areas with fires but furniture is old and very uncomfortable. The lack of staff made the service at the bar slow and collecting of used glasses/plates from tables was extremely poor so you had to clear a space when you sat down.

The perfect place to use as a stop-over on the way from Dover back to Scotland. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was large, well-appointed and super-clean, and the breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip.

There were no tongs for the bread, pastry and cakes, which would have been better. The spa was fully booked, so if you want a massage, I highly recommend that you book before your visit. Female changing rooms have 2 showers, which shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and 1 toilet. 2 heated tiled beds were on the upper level, and a pool, a small 4 seater steam room, a 4-6 seater sauna (4 strangers for personal space), and 3 showers. The hotel is in a good location for Brands Hatch racing circuit and a small drive to the nearest station with links to London. The hotel itself is now in dire need of refurbishment, I have stayed here for around ten years for the convenience stated at the beginning. But the hotel has not changed in this time, the rooms are very dated with lack of plugs in the room (two in total and ones for the TV), lack of proper heat management, you only get an adjustable valve on the radiator but the reception stated the heating is on a timer anyway so in other words, useless. In my room there was a heated towel rail which didn’t work and was overdue a PAT test by 18 months. The decor of the room also needs updating, Bridgewood manor does command a premium price but the cheaper hotel chains have much more modern rooms, it is very dated and gives the hotel an old dingy vibe. The food is one of the stand out features of the hotel and the quality of food is very good, albeit slightly expensive, beer prices at this hotel are more expensive than central London.

We stay here often and it is in a perfect position for us, when visiting family in and around Maidstone. Best of all they are very dog friendly. The property itself is showing its age a bit but not terrible. No AC in rooms, but fans are available from reception.

The perfect place to use as a stop-over on the way from Dover back to Scotland. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was large, well-appointed and super-clean, and the breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip.

The Room Clean and comfortable as you would expect this Type hotel. The Bar menu was a bit limited so went in to the restaurant the menu not a lot more choose. Then was told after a 15 minuet they didn't have the starter. I felt sorry for the serving staff having to continually apologise to guests for slow service from the kitchen

Dated hotel with old rooms but good in-room TV sets with screen casting capacity. Bed was super soft so that's ok if you like it bad bad if you have back problems. Heating was excessive even with radiator turned off. Walls seem to be made out of cardboard but staff was very responsive when I complained about my noisy neighbours. Food was really good, had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. Breakfast was very decent with a large selection of items. Can't comment on the spa as I didn't visit it. 7.5/10

Had a family birthday there, some of us stayed the night and all had an evening meal in the restaurant. It was great to be able sit together and relax in the bar after the meal. Buffet breakfast was good as well.

The room was very pleasant. It was very warm in the room even with the radiator off and window open. Could do with more power sockets and one by the bed but otherwise absolutely fine. Breakfast was good too. We had lunch in the restaurant which was pricey but very good quality. Drinks expensive but l think that’s par for the course in a hotel

This hotel is very old fashioned, carpets and the furniture looks like they' from the 1980s. The room was fairly clean and staff on the whole are friendly. However, the room was very hot and guests have no control over the temperature which meant I had to sleep with the window open and use the fan that is provided all night which is a waste of energy. The big issue with this hotel is the cost and quality of the food. Me and my partner ordered a breakfast with the room each day and what a massive disappointment. The first morning we had breakfast the sausages were pink in the middle, the bacon resembled leather and was almost black in parts. The fried eggs were very hard and the fried bread I was not brave enough to try as they were all different shades of dark brown. I can honestly say that for an English hotel this is the WORST fried breakfast I have ever had in the UK and I have lived in the UK my whole life. The next morning it was marginally better but the woman in there was very rude. After sitting down she then asked me to move in which I declined. She took great offence to this. My advise to the hotel is either improve the breakfast and train staff to cook the food correctly and greet customers at the door or do not offer this service any longer. Furthermore, breakfast should be fresh or cooked to order. At best people will be disappointed at worst people will be poisoned. The food in the restaurant is extremely over priced for what you actually receive. The prices
