Kimo's Getaway

The host was awesome. The place is great and well placed for enjoying Kona. Host was helpful. Really enjoyed the outdoor shower.

The host was welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. The place was very lovely, comfortable, spacious and felt like home. If you want a fancy hotel, this is not that but it is not advertised or priced as such. Well stocked kitchen, nice dining table and big sofa and TV. We didn't use the hot tub as it was too warm outside, but we did use and enjoyed the outdoor shower. There is no AC, but except for the middle of the afternoon, we were fine without it- everything cooled off at night. I am not sure what it would be like in the summer, however- we were there in December. We liked the location, close to several beaches. Lovely Lanai seating area with dining table, lounge chairs and plenty of space to hang up wet clothing and towels. Neighborhood felt very safe. I would stay here again!

Great views every day, very relaxing

Kimo’s felt like home away from home. Comfortable and breezy. The sunset view was a treat. Jim was great too - friendly and welcoming. We would be happy to stay here again.

The stay here has been great. I would highly recommend it. The location is great, the house had everything we needed and more.
