This is a great property to stay in for a stop over. It has a beautiful garden, but otherwise there’s not much here to entice you to stay for holiday.

We liked the view from our room. It looked out over the tropical surrounds which made us feel like we were miles away from the highway. The property was quiet despite its location. The staff that greeted us on arrival were friendly and we discovered we had received a free upgrade upon checkin. The room was large, with lovely garden views. But the motel is showing its age, fixtures are all a little dated. It’s just out of the city centre but a short 5-10 minute drive has you at all the tourist attractions and shopping centres or the beach. The room was great for our one night in Coffs.

Room was dirty and Tea cups weren’t clean and no sugar and milk inside the room.

I have stayed several times and it has always been great....Now with new management its horrible. Sheets had blood stains, stains on cushions, armchairs looked like they have never been cleaned, seat from dining table was absolutely filthy. Manager was very rude at check-in and I really wanted to say cancel my booking and i will stay somewhere else.

Feels like this place needs a visit from Alex Polizzi - The Hotel Inspector, for a makeover. There was a film of dust over most surfaces, highlighted by the fact it was dark wood which made it more obvious. We booked a king executive room. Toilet not cleaned with poop streaks in the toilet bowl. Bedside lampshade falling apart and blood stains on inside of pillow which should have been obvious when making up the bed. Whole place feels a bit unloved and probably didn't help that weather was wet and miserable during our stay. Restaurant closed as chef called in sick. Good points - lady on reception on arrival was lovely. Shower hot and powerful. Didn't get chance to speak to staff about any issues as we left quite early to be on the road.

Bed was clean, room was tidy, shower was hot. It was a comfortable overnight stay while passing through and the room was the right price.

Arrived to no towels in room told they were waiting, eventually after a few requests ( 2 towels ) nothing to stand on. The toilet had also been used and was dirty.

Lovely trees and gardens. A used bath towel was left hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The furniture and flooring are dated but functional.

Older property but exceptionally well run. I was surprised when my room was cleaned every day - usually the big chains dont even do this!

I was really looking forward to staying here. The property was well presented, lovely tropical grounds, large well presented rooms but the bed let the whole experience down. Everytime I turned in bed I could feel the springs. So unfortunate the owners havent addressed this problem and updated the mattresses after looking at other people's reviews saying the same thing. It turns the establishment into 3 stars in my opinion.

Very noise from truck and car traffic all night.

Staff were excellent, friendly & helpful. The room was somewhat outdated and, although clean throughout, the electrical items were showing signs of age - the smart tv had a fuzzy lower half of the screen, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom spent most of its time rattling rather than extracting. There was a cute little balcony to the rear of the room, overlooking beautiful rainforest-style gardens.

Service and food was amazing- from Reception to restaurant, I was greeted with a smile and very friendly efficient service, and the lady in the restaurant was very happy, pleasant and managed many people with both food and drink service. The food was amazing. I was alttle surprised by the outdated room, in comparison to the images on the web, very old musty smell, however, bed was comfortable and room size was great. Overall pleasant experience.

Bathroom needs good clean shower quite dirty, beds very uncomfortable needs updating, furniture very outdated for $344 per night expected a little more.

Aged but nice and neat motel with nice grounds. Terrible beds. Hard sunken mattresses that should have been replaced long ago.

This was an overnight stay as part of a road trip. The room was comfortable however every time you turned the bathroom light switch on there was a lot of loud banging and a delay in the light coming on. The bathroom was fairly dark so it was easier to leave the light on.

Although parts of the motel were a little dated overall, the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful and made our stay great. The room was clean and well-furnished and had lovely garden views.

Pathetic staff would not recommend to anybody very aggressive owner told me he would throw me off the balcony due to a mistake I made. They also told me they will not accept any customers from the area of 2450 and 2452 which I find very rude as we are locals. Do not ever stay at this motel as other customers also told me the management is unacceptable and very rude and pathetic everything was clean and acceptable but the staff do not treat you as a human being and do not like the locals of our town. Easy a 0/10

This is an older style accomodation. However the room and bathroom was very spacious. The facilities were more than adequate. The owners/managers were very helpful

The bathroom was not clean and this was apparently an upgrade! No hand towels supplied. They did change our room which we were greatfull for, but seam confused that the room was dirty as there cleaners are so reliable. Apparently not!

A big thanks to David and the team in Reservations for being flexible with my daughters arrival and accommodating our requests despite not being obligated to do so. We will stop there every time we travel through Coffs, no doubt about it. A great resort and great staff !

Our room #9 door lock is hard to lock from outside and hard to open. Unsafe to stay. Noisy from AC unit.

Comfortable. Mattress was a bit hard and unit was up stairs. Otherwise everything was good. Spacious room and good facilities. Continental breakfast was good. Very friendly staff. Happy to stay here again.

The only negative feedback was the fact that the property is extremely vulnerable to truck traffic noise at night.

The room we had faced the main road but the distance from the road and the vegetation to the road was sufficient that we suffered no noise disturbance. The Hotel is a short easy drive to all of the city facilities and I would recommend a walk along the pier and breakwater up onto the hill.

Very clean but dated accomodation, a few tweaks tkk on rooms could address that. Good position and surprisingly quiet. Folders with info in room need updating, it says restaurant closed Sunday, plus you have to order night before, so after we had arranged to go elsewhere for Brekky got told that was not the case, which was a little annoying BUT I’d stay again.

The room was very clean, however there were a few ants roaming around the room the first night but no others showed up after. The games room was very inadequate but still functional. The restaurant was probably our worst experience because there was only one server and she forgot what we ordered for drinks and we sat there with nothing served for 30 minutes and our food came out so we had to remind her to bring our drinks to us that we had ordered.

For a Sanctuary Resort I would have expected a lot better! Over priced, very old run down building which was dirty and I have photo's to prove this! I did tell the reception on 2 occasions of my disapproval but all she said was I'll let the manager know. Lacking in facilities advertised! Sauna under maintenance, bar filled with boxes/junk not open like a bar! No breakfast on Sunday's! No mentioned room service available! Basically no restaurant as it was pre order and only basic food served between 6-7.30pm! Don't chance your safety or waste your money staying there! No appliances in our room (room 44) were test and taged. 1/2 used milk from previous guest left in the fridge. Glasses that were meant to be clean put in paper bag were dirty! Chipped coffee mug. Bug's/dust on bathroom floor. Massive cracks in the bathroom basin. Random dirt/stains on the curtains. Not to mention ashtrays on most outdoor tables in ad it states non smoking property but room sment like smoke. I booked a room with queen and twin bed and got a queen and single bed when I questioned reception again all I got was no we do have twin bed's in any of the rooms and they would let manager know! And there's more complaints.....! Very disappointed!

Rooms are nice, cosy and modern, had dinner in there bistro, was very enjoyable.

We had a pleasant single night stay over. Our room was quite musty and showed it age but was reasonably clean. The staff were all friendly. The restaurant is handy and the food was good.
