Great location. Great views. Property had good amenities. Friendly staff. BUT Quite dated decor. Dirty and unclean to common areas and rooms. Moth-bitten curtains in our rooms. Dusty carpets. Room-service barely weekly. Kids pool and pool slides shut for maintenance (main reason for us booking this particular hotel). No wifi throughout our near 2 weeks at the hotel. Repeated need for trades-people to access to our room for maintenance purposes. Not offered any compensation for any of these issues either. Wouldnt return.

Great view from apartment, didn’t like the indoor facilities out of order for the whole stay without any warning or notice prior to staying

Our room was an older room and the floors felt quite grimey. The age of the room wouldnt have been an issue however it was misleading as when we booked only photos of signficantly newer or renovation rooms where shown. The pirate ship in the kids pool area is also damaged and requires fixing. We were expected to wash our towels and there was no houskeeping service. Thai restaurant was amazing! Would have been great to have had a breakfast option or the buffet lab being open.

The only negative was the wifi was rubbish & non existent in our room.

Expedia need to update the peoperty details as it said there was a bar and restaurant at the property and there wasnt apparently hasnt been for quite awhile. We may have looked for alternative accommodation

The overall amenities - suited our family Staff were average and there was no restaurant However will return for the pool and how close it is to the beach

Kids were disappointed the pirate ship was in disrepair

Great location, close to G: rail station. Covered pool and spa and kids slide and pool plus outdoor spa are enjoyable facilities.

We just came back from a fabulous stay here. We stayed in the 3-Bedroom Apartment with both beach and city views and the size of the apartment was fantastic. Beds were super comfortable and the apartment was well equipped. The outdoor is great but a bit cold in the water unless the sun is shining. Kids had a blast in the kids pool. Only issues were that the outdoor spa was tepid at best for our stay and the indoor spa was not clean on some days. The property is tired looking but the staff are amazing and it was super comfortable and homely. We loved our stay and will be back!

We had a fabulous 2 bedroom apartment with views to the beach and over the pool. A home away from home . Everything we needed was there . Close proximity to the tram at the Cypress st Station restaurants and shops. Very comfortable beds. Only thing I think could be improved is the cleanliness of the apartment Dust on skirting boards and edges of room . and behind bedside tables. Looks like nothing has been moved in order to clean properly for a little while. Shower screens not that clean .

The apartment needed some updating for the shower as the grout was dirty and mouldy. The base of the shower was the same as wet the door seal Vacuuming was needed under coffee tables and dining table and chairs No information was available for activities at reception for the area they had run out

We had a good stay Rooms were abit out dated and there was a smell in the hallway to our room and inside our room i tried to air it out but could not get rid of the smell. My kkids loved the pool and the location was great close to everything that we needed.

I arrived at the hotel a few hours prior to check-in and was assisted by a nice young man, who helped me with my baggage storage, however when I returned a couple of hours later a young woman served me, I found her offhand and rather rude. When I entered my room I was very pleased with the atmosphere, with the sun streaming in and the layout of the place, however on closer inspection the room had not been cleaned properly as there were crumbs all over the floor, the dining table and the chairs, and hairs on the towel and in the bathroom sink. I did enjoy the proximity to everything and would happily stay there again, hopefully the young woman may have changed her negative attitude by then, as the young man and another young woman were lovely and the initial female receptionist let these two down. I would also hope that the room would be cleaner next time.

Le personnel ok mais APT tres négligé Poussière rebord du lit / SDB limite propre et tous les robinets coulent même en serrant fort. Machine a laver linge pas propre / cuisine limite idem pour les baies vitrees. Arrivée tardive 22h00 paas facile nimero a 4 chiffres a 50 metres et donc besoins 2 pers. et on doit êtreparfaitementbilingue. Je n'y retournerai pas.

Unfortunately this property hasnt had much change since I stayed 13 years ago. Room had water damage that left a moldy foul smell coming from the laundry. Other than that room was okay. Outdoor pool is freezing and heating in the other pools stopped working in the 2nd week. Reception were friendly though Overall property is run down and probably would not return due to these reasons given the price.

Comfortable convenient. Good facilities for a family. Restaurant was excellent but dinner only. But good kitchen in apartment with laundry. Pulled forward bedside table to plug in phone charger and found M and M’s that had been there for some time indicating the room hadn’t had a good clean for quite awhile.

The bathroom showers were not clean, tiles were full of scum and mold. I asked for them to be cleaned and was told they would get housekeeping on to it. Housekeeping did not come to clean bathroom. The room was very dated and the door to the unit did not lock properly either. We had to really slam the door for it to lock when we were leaving. Will not stay at another Mantra again.

Room is so outdated, rust around light fixtures, shower kept going extremely hot or extremely cold there was no in between. Curtains were broken on one end so we were getting woken up by sunlight in our eyes. Also was only given a think mink blanket from Kmart to sleep with. Only reason this gets 2 stars is because the Thai restaurant connected does amazing food

Our stay was okay. The apartments are large, the pool is awesome and most staff were lovely. However I always feel a bit ripped off when you book almost a year in advance, pay for an ocean view, then get placed in a room on the side where you can only see the ocean between buildings if you’re out on the balcony, looking a certain way. This is in contrast to a room my parents booked only months out and were placed on the 32 floor (we were on 17) with a gorgeous full ocean view. It feels deceptive. It also seems strange a big chain like the Mantra would have an onsite cafe that is cash only. Our stay was good and I’m glad we gave it a try but I wouldn’t go back.

Great location and pool was good. We stayed in the 2 bedroom ocean view room but was more of a partial ocean view. Room was clean and had everything we needed but could use some updating. Overall was a good stay.

We had a mostly good stay here! The staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in, which was a great start. The apartment itself was really spacious and clean – the kitchen had everything we needed, which made it easy for longer stays. Also, the free self-parking was a great bonus – always appreciate not having to stress about that! The location was another big plus – walking distance to the beach, the tram, and the centre of town, so everything was super convenient. The pool area looked beautiful too, though the water was absolutely freezing – probably only usable in peak summer! On the downside, the room was pretty dated (though that’s not unusual for the Gold Coast). There was no housekeeping the entire time, and the bed wasn’t comfy – two singles pushed together with sheets that didn’t really fit, and no proper doona cover, just a sheet. We found a spare blanket in the wardrobe but it didn’t have a cover and was kind of gross. We were a bit worried about construction noise next door, but it ended up being totally fine. We were placed fairly low down so we did hear some traffic noise, but nothing too major. All in all, a good stay with some great features – just a few comfort things that could use an update.

Great location but the 2 three bedroom apartments our family had were very much in need of a refit. The taps need replacing, constantly dripping, bathrooms need updating. Needs a good clean Given the poor quality it was very expensive.

Room size, affordability and location are great. It’s a shame the room looked nothing like the photos. It was very dated, torn and dirty carpets, stained couches, walls full of marks, basins in bathroom delaminated… the list could go on. In desperate need of a refurb. Disappointing compared to pictures. Very false advertising. Although staff did show us another room which was an improvement, there is ongoing construction around the building.

I read some more recent reviews before arrival and was second guessing my decision to book Mantra Crown Towers, however I enjoyed my short stay. Yes, this hotel is not new, but they have updated the facilities and room with paint, fixtures and furniture. I thought it was well maintained, especially the outdoor pool area. The staff were friendly and happy to assist. The rooms were very spacious and well equipped for my needs. My only negatives were: 1. I don't know what product the cleaners use in the shower, but I slipped over as I stepped in. The floor was slippery, as was the wall (realised that when I tried to reach out to stop the fall). Maybe the cleaner forgot to go back and wash down the product. 2. During our short stay I never noticed the cafe open. I didn't include breakfast with my package, so this didn't affect me.

Great staff

We first arrived and we got a not very nice room. Curtains hanging off the runners not very clean rooms. We were told a week before arriving that there is construction next door but we would be put on the quiet side of the hotel, guess what we were put on the same side as the construction. Couldn’t even sit on the balcony. But I went to reception only to be told that they can’t move us as all the 3 bedroom apartments are on the construction side of the building. I wrote to the Manager and we were taken to another 3 bedroom apartment on the other side of the building 😀 that was simply amazing. It had beautiful rooms and bathrooms ! So our stay was amazing. Check what your rooms are before you book people. Wotif wasn’t much help either at the time. Said their hands are tied as it’s at the hotels discretion.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and I loved it so coming back again wasn’t a disappointment it was amazing and will always recommend crown mantra towers to anyone else. The staff are amazing and friendly.

The staff were amazing and so accomodating. The room was spacious and clean. Facilities were awesome, we will definitely be back!

Location great Room was great Wifi went down and reception had no clue how to fix it We had checked out early and left the keys in the drop box but received a phone call saying we need to check out so staff had not looked for keys in the drop box

Bedroom and living spaces have had a recent renovation, though bathroom remains dated. Overall great location and amenities within the accommodation. Easy walk to the beach and Cavill Ave area. At no fault of the property there is a new high rise that has commenced construction next door with works and noise beginning from 7am.

We loved our stay, the pools were fun and safe for our 8 year old Ease of walking to beach, restaurants and shops, also tram stop nearby. The two bedroom ocean view apartment was amazing, everything we could want. Check in staff were very kind and friendly. We will stay again.

We were worried about the room condition after reading some of the reviews but found it to be perfect. A huge 1 bed apartment with 3 wonderful pools to choose from. Only downside was there was no bar or cafe (apparently someone is considering taking it over soon), but other than that would highly recommend - plenty of options close by.

Surfers Paradise Cavill ave 8 min walk and coles 5 min walk Smokers - no smoking on balconies and no seated smoking area, there is a set of stairs down to the footpath that makes you feel real classy. Thai restaurant on site - beautiful food! Their website doesn’t show take away but they do takeaway!

We stayed for a conference across the road, which was very accessible from the hotel.

We were able to hire a stroller. The pool area was superb for little ones Staff so helpful and happy greeting you every day. Close to shops Our apartments were very spacious

Location good for my needs. Unit 515 was great for my needs. Would use again, if I could use this unit. Others in our party found their accommodation not as well kept. All the things I used were great. The people who had the small cafe by the main pool area and the Changmai Thai restaurant were outstanding therefore adding to the overall great experience.

I loved the pool area and didn't mind the construction. Large apartment for 1 brm but only very basic of cooking utensils.I found the food outlet unfriendly being cash only and did ignore you.
