Nice resort setting, good pools, limited accessibility as all upper floors are serviced by stairs. There are no elevators. No public transport and some distance from other amenities. Well located for access to most of the mid Gold Coast provided you have a car. Good undercover parking.

Overall, it was a good experience. We love the spa pool and the gym. The resort has a good underground parking space too! However, the sauna was unfortunately out of service when we stayed here :(

Was just ok. Very minimal facilities in the room. No wifi. No spare blanket. Quite dated throughout. Staff and gardens were lovely. No elevators which didn’t worry us but it could bother others who might have mobility issues or luggage to haul up to the room. There were 49 stairs between the carpark and our room. We were however offered help if needed. Nothing close by so car always needed.

Laundry Service was essentially non existant. Over the 3 nights/days, not once was the room cleaned and guests would need to help themselves to the open Staff Only room for spare towels etc. Although each block of Units are 3 storey, there are no lifts, just 31 steps up and 31 steps down if staying on L3. I was unaware of this prior to booking. At no stage did I complain as we were only in for 3 days and the accommodation and bar were really good. Car parking underground and plenty of room for larger vehicles provided no higher than 2.2m.

It is good place to stay, but the room was not clean as I expected and there was black moulds on the shower and Air-condition filter was dusty. Can provide pictures if need it. Restaurant and bar personnel are friendly and welcoming! Food was delicious! Hope this helps to improve.

As soon as I entered my room there was a strong musty, mouldy smell. Obviously after a while you didn't notice it but it was still there. There was mould somewhere, you just couldn't see it. Luckily I had a balcony so I could leave the glass door open and let fresh air in. Every time I came back to my room, that smell was very strong. Mould is very toxic and this room, and any others like it should be completely stripped out and refurbished. Also, I had no assistance offered with my luggage to drag it to the room which was surprising. Maybe I should have asked for it, but to be honest, these little things are what are usually offered without having to ask for them. There's no room service available, when I arrived, I was exhausted but had to go and collect my dinner. I appreciate it's a big complex with lots of separate accommodation buildings, but other similarly laid out resorts offer room service. Overall for the price per night I was very disappointed.

The rooms are comfortable and the property is a handy location. The only issues were room 5211 had mould in the bathroom around the shower and the king bed had queen sheets on it which were way too short and pulled out from all sides including bottom. Minor things but detracted from a 5 star. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and clean. Great staff.. Comfy bed! I just think it’s a bit over priced, as for the amount there wasn’t a microwave or basic kitchenette facilities. I would definitely stay again though.

This is a nice 4 star hotel. The rooms are large and well lit and comfortable. If i want to be picky, the bed is a little soft with the topper being very spongy. The mattress should be a little firmer if you're going to use a topper like that. Saying that, i slept like a log but i was very sleep deprived. There's a big pool that looked very inviting and the breakfast had plenty of hot and cold choices and was good value. Only other criticism is having a shower in the bath but that's not an easy fix, and the fact that it's kinda in the middle of nowhere. If you're bringing your car that's not an issue, if you're relying on ubers, it gets expensive at around $20 to Robina station. The wifi is OK, it's got a decent tv, has a desk and chair for work if you need it and there's tea and coffee making facilities but no toaster or microwave. There is a cafe/bar by the lobby though. It was clean and is stay here again without thinking about it. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Rooms spacious but a bit outdated. Annoyingly loud fridge in the room, had to turn it off at night. Breakfast was terrible, not the best choices for the cost, would definitely suggest a local cafe instead.

The standard of the room and location was not good value for money. The ensuite was incredibly outdated and although appeared clean, looked very unclean due to the age of the facility. It was outdated and not functional with the shower over the bath.

Everything at the resort was immaculate and well maintained from our room, the gardens, the common areas. What really stood out for me, all the staff, gardener, maintenance, housekeeping, breakfast, all had a smile and friendly greeting. Big shout out to housekeeping. Nothing says your on holiday like getting your bed made. It wasn't thrown back and rushly tucked back in like many places. The bed was made like it was our first night each day and it was a real treat. Our double queen room needed a reading light and two comfortable chairs instead of one, otherwise everything about our stay was exceptional. It's a bit out of the way for anyone without a car, but for us the 'away from the hustle and bustle' added to the tranquility.

The Staff were very friendly . Our room was on the first floor and the young lady at reception asked if that would be ok . One flight of stairs as there are no lifts in the building . Parking was directly below us .

Room wasn't ready, I was offered a lesser room with no discount as I had pre paid, waited for approximately 3hrs in bar area, later offered drinks voucher after I had bought 3 drinks, went to use one only to be asked to supply a further payment for beer of my choice. Gave up after that & returned drinks cards to staff unused. Finally in my room it was clean & quiet. I don't blame staff but person held up in room should have left at 10am not 2 pm

Had an excellent stay with family. The staff was extremely helpful in arranging late check-out for us based on our circumstances. The kids live the buffet breakfast! This is our goto accommodation whenever there are sporting events at GCSL Carrara.

The room was not the one I booked, it was supposed to have a view of Palm Meadows Golf Course, It had a view of the hotel footpath, they attempted to move us to a room which had a partial view with two queen beds I booked one with king bed so we did not move, Sophie at reception said I could cancel and find another hotel !!!!!!

Property was ok but really dated, would have been beautiful once upon a time. A reception staff member really annoyed me,I put a a load of washing in the dryer which had a sign stating it would take 20 mins. Upon pressing start the machine said 60 mins to go, and I had to leave in 30 mins to take my daughter to a competition. I rung reception and expected them to say something like sorry about the misleading time on the sign, leave that with me, I’ll get your washing sorted and back to your room. But instead she said “I can’t come and sort that for you” I was like what can I do, I have to go out! And she said I don’t know but I don’t have time, I’m the only person on here. So I suggested that I would go find a nice helpful cleaner to assist me, she said well you can try but I doubt they have the time either (that was me giving her the idea to ring housekeeping herself to sort it for me). In the end I had to go and find a housekeeping staff member myself, explain the situation, and she was lovely and only too happy to set a timer on her phone, grab my washing and put it in my room when it finished. Something so easy but impossible for reception to organise. Also, my uber eats wasn’t allowed to leave my meal at reception when I got back late from comp at about 11pm and the restaurant food was finished, so no other option for dinner. I just found reception extremely unhelpful in both instances, like shockingly low customer service.

The property was convenient to attending a conference on the Gold Coast without paying exorbitant prices on the coastal strip. An easy drive to and from the venue. Comfortable and cosy with a relaxing view of the Golf Course and dining reasonable at the bar without fuss & expense after a long conference day. Thanks for making our visit easy and relaxing.

What a beautiful property. We only stayed a night while attending an event at the stadium nearby but would totally come back for a weekend as the pools looked so inviting and the area is lovely and tranquil with the golf course on your doorstep.

location was perfect for us as it was close enough to everything we wanted to do but far enough away that it was quiet. Parking on site better than other places I've stayed in QLD. Staff were friendly and helpful, didn't have a single bad interaction with any off them.

We attended a conference in Carrera so this was the perfect location, room a bit dated but very comfortable and great King bed. Awesome pool as well but it closes at 10pm which was way too late due to the noise of unruly kids at that hour!! Restaurant was average dinner wise but couldn’t fault the cocktails :) Will def stay here again.
