The highlight of this hotel is the salt water snorkel pool. The fresh water pool is also wonderful. The rooms were spacious and modern. The lobby was spectacularly designed. Room service and food was prepared meticulously. They have done a great job all around demonstrating the quality and value of a JW Marriott which is not easily delivered. Well done to their amazing team.

Worth every cent. Gorgeous resort. Brilliant service. Only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Took advantage of the on-site dining which was great. Misano, was visually underwhelming, but food was fantastic. Buffet had everything and more. Poolside bar had a fantastic relaxed feel and comprehensive drinks list. Only criticism is the saltwater pool. It’s a brilliant add on, but execution is sub-par. The “reef” is overrun with algae. Nothing that a professional aquarist couldn’t keep under control. So some greater attention and investment could turn this sad microcosm into a real showstopper.

It is almost like the Hotel booked the number of guests and the constant queuing for breakfast is off putting and food was not great either. Pool area is too small for the number of people. Japanese restaurant seating is in a corridor . Never return to the hotel or the Gold Coast

We love the Marriott and have been coming for years but was super disappointed to have such a late checkin when we only were staying one night. The kids missed the slide as it closed at 4pm and opened too late in the morning which was the main reason we stayed (the pool). If these hours were extended it would be helpful! Other than that everything else was as expected and we had a nice comfortable stay.

There were so many attention to detail items missed from what you would expect from a five star resort. - specifically requested room with bath tub, when we arrived we were told we were upgraded free of charge - no bath tub - no wash cloths or hand towels, only bath sheets and bath mats provided. - only one bed side table when there clearly should have been two - cob webs with bugs in the corners of the ceiling - breakfast items were cold and old. Pastries were stale and defrosted. Only full cream dairy coffee included in buffet, or full charge for barista item if you needed non dairy milk - staff never returned to us after any order or seating after our meals or poolside ordering, leaving us with rubbish and dirty plates - staff never asked how our meal or stay was - house keeping never came to our room throughout the day, then at 4pm slipped a note into the room saying we could call the main desk and ask them to come between 9am-4pm. No privacy light was on, no knocking. We were in and out of the room through these hours. - parking was difficult - odd shape layout and odd shaped spots. - $50 per day inclusion was only able to be used on very specific menu items which isn't clear on the cards - unwelcome surprise during what is meant to be a relaxing stay. - ordered fish and chips from poolside bar and couldn't eat half of the fish due to amount of bones still in the fish - couldn't use QR code ordering due to app issues at the pool - pool menu items not available

Best resort on the Gold Coast. The staff are all so friendly. Our room was spotless and the beds very comfortable. The salt water lagoon is the main reason why we come back to this resort again and again. The tram is walking distance if you want to go to Broadbeach or Pacific Fair. Wonderful holiday destination for families.

The lobby and restaurant areas are gorgeous along with the pool areas however the actual pools could do with an upgrade - the tiles and pool floor are looking weary and unpleasant - certainly not 5 star. The rooms have nice decor but don’t quite match with the luxury lobby and restaurant vibes - they are small for what you pay and our room had hair and sticky tops on bedside tables. I also found spider webs on the ceiling, mould on the sheer curtains and the sliding door/windows were so dirty I could hardly see out. Service was usually good although they were so busy things like coffees took ages to come. Happy that the breakfast buffet had some gluten free options. I probably wouldn’t stay again.

A great trip for 4 days away from the kids. Hotel staff amazing hotel clean and inviting. Rooms were spacious and renovated. Buffet breakfast spread was amazing. Only critisism was the bed wasnt as comfy as would have loked but still worth the 5 star rating. Would definitely stay here again!

We booked an ocean view king room for approx $500 per night over the city view, only to have at best partial view (needed to go out onto the balcony to see the ocean. On arrival we were offered a city view room as our room want ready we opted to wait and get the ocean view room and went to the pool for a couple of hours before was ready. Only to find that it was not a ocean view room. When i checked the room i was told that it was classified as an ocean view room, i restated that on booking it did not say partial view and the photo's were ocean view and that it should be corrected as I wouldn't have booked the room if it had stated partial view. On checking with there manager they offered a $100 discount on the night (far less than the $500/night difference in rooms (as a gesture of good will and i was not looking for a discount, only raising that it wasn't as described or intended) Also note, i was not aggressive or rude, only want to check if there was a mix-up and get the price adjusted to the correct rate. Although i was disappointed in the room, the service and facilities are what you would expect but I will not stay with JW Marriott again.

We have stayed at JW quite a few times, and this stay was our worst experience to date. Poor customer service, breakfast waiting times excessive, pool service poor, chicken served partially uncooked, seafood not fresh (prawns rubbery and oyster kilpatrick served cold) It seems that more attention is being being focused on over cramming the hotel with maximum guests to make larger profits, than concentrating on each guests individual needs being met to make them feel important. Will think twice about staying her again!

Stayed at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort with my family for 3 nights. The overall experience was pretty underwhelming compare to other JW Marriotts I have strayed at. Staff was friendly, but something was off with their internal communication or job assignments. Three different staff greeted me when I was inline waiting to check in, the group in front of me was taking a bit of time, so a staff tried to find openings at other counters, so I don’t have to wait for too long, I didn’t mind waiting a bit, but this was nice of them. After check in, we were taken to our room, and staff told us our bags will follow. 30 mins passed, nothing came. We called and asked for our bag, but the staff that answered the phone sounded clueless, but say he will check. Another 30 mins passed, nothing again, so I went down to check for our bags and to find our bags by the door of the hotel, unattended. Though we got a little apologie card after, this was a bad start of the stay. For cleanness issues- the breakfast area was really busy, with kids running around and stuff. Again, I don’t mind, it’s a resort, but the cleanliness needs a lot of work. The tables we were brought to stuff had bits of food on the table, on the chair and on the ground, it was pretty nasty… Overall, the hotel was fine. I am sure our luggage situation was an overlook, but the cleanliness really needs a lot of work.

We spent 5 nights at JWM, our first time staying there. The staff were phenonmimal from first interaction till our last. The kids loved the live fish pool and the waterslides. It was a great hotel for both kids and adults. Very convenient to tram, beach without being in the middle of the madness. We will definitely be staying here again.

My husband and I were in Australia for our honeymoon in Aug 2024. Staff went above and beyond to honor us, and we really appreciated the incredible customer service and friendliness. The light rail and beach were in walking distance. The grounds are stunning, and I’d come back to this resort without question if we return to Gold Coast one day.

Very unhelpful, untrained staff. Didn’t really feel welcome. Really overpriced food and not many options. A small bowl of hot chips is $17! The hotel itself is lovely and the pool and gardens are amazing. Would like to see Australian made toiletries in the rooms.

Worth every cent. Gorgeous resort. Brilliant service. Only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Took advantage of the on-site dining which was great. Misano, was visually underwhelming, but food was fantastic. Buffet had everything and more. Poolside bar had a fantastic relaxed feel and comprehensive drinks list. Only criticism is the saltwater pool. It’s a brilliant add on, but execution is sub-par. The “reef” is overrun with algae. Nothing that a professional aquarist couldn’t keep under control. So some greater attention and investment could turn this sad microcosm into a real showstopper.

It is almost like the Hotel booked the number of guests and the constant queuing for breakfast is off putting and food was not great either. Pool area is too small for the number of people. Japanese restaurant seating is in a corridor . Never return to the hotel or the Gold Coast

The beds are the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. I had a sore back during my whole stay. I thought the dinner Buffett wasn’t very good at all. Not much variety and the quality of food was average. Same as the breakfast Buffett. Hence why we only ate there one for dinner and twice for breakfast.

マリオット系列のホテルには色々泊まっていますが、ここは適度な高級感と、南国らしさが融合されたバランスの良い施設だと思います。また高く評価すべきなのがレストランの味の良さです。一階に二つのレストランがあり、一つは高級路線、もう一つはカジュアルな予約制ではないレストランですが、どちらも美味しい。高級路線の方はCITRIQUE RESTAURANTといいますが、シーフードがとにかく絶品で上品な味付けです。私たちは滞在中、毎日こちらでディナーを食べました。あえて残念な所も言いましょう。一つは、部屋の清掃が甘いことです。一度、ハウスキーピングが清掃中に部屋に入ってしまったのですが、汚い靴でずかずかと室内に入り、乱暴な様子で部屋の掃除をしていました。その方が退室した後も、どのように清掃したのか想像できてしまうような雑な清掃。私たちは5泊しましたが、人によりばらつきがあります。5日中3日は雑な清掃の人に当たってしまいました。また、これも大型施設のホテルなので仕方ないのかもしれませんが、朝のビュッフェの従業員スタッフの態度が極めて悪い人が見受けられます。仕事をやりたくない、面倒臭い、という様子がかなり見られて、マリオット系列にしては珍しいなと思いました。人数もかなりいますので、アルバイトを雇っているとしたら仕方ないのかもしれないですね。まあでも、星の数の通り、概ね満足の印象です。良かったのは、この価格で駐車場代が込みであること、朝食が込みであること。更にお得なのは、毎日施設内で使える5,000円のバウチャーがプレゼントされること！こちらは連泊だからなのか、プラチナエリートだからなのかわかりませんが、とにかくお得感があります。このお値段でこのクオリティーであれば満足。再訪が検討できるホテルだと思います。

Overall, the hotel offered an excellent experience, and the children thoroughly enjoyed their stay. However, there was a significant issue during dinner service. After queuing, being seated, and placing our order, we endured a wait of over an hour before the first dish arrived, primarily due to insufficient staff. This delay not only disrupted our rest but also threw off our daily schedule.

We had such a wonderful stay in our double room! It was impeccably clean and perfect for our family of four. The housekeeping team did an amazing job every day, making us wish we could extend our stay even longer. Despite the rain, the heated pool allowed the kids to swim daily, which they loved. Our dining experience at Citrique for the seafood buffet was delightful—the restaurant itself was wonderful, and the seafood buffet was just what we were hoping for, however the person who took us to the table was very snobbish. The overall experience with the hotel is 4.5/5.
