The bathroom was without any conditioner, just a small shampoo. Most staff were not friendly or courteous. Only the front desk staff is polite. The one and only elevator is kind of jumpy and scary with buttons that’s not very responsive. One bed was right next to the noisy fan unit which blows strongly onto the bed even when I turned off the cooling air conditioner and only use fan. The grid wasn’t able to tilt up so I ended up having to use a pillow to block the strong wind blowing against my head all night long!

The elevator was not working. The room was dirty (specially the rug) with a smell of smoke. There was also a towel wrapped around the smoke detector (meaning someone definitely smoked there). Thankfully our safety deposit was given back.

Nice place free parking on site nice people restaurant looks nice but didn’t actually have a chance to eat there clean room tv channels are limited room was a little stuffy no way to open window close to the highway good price $156.00 all in for 1 night. Would stay again.

Gentleman at the reception desk was very pleasant and friendly. The hotel is located at an odd intersection (due to recent construction) with its immediate entry a bit hidden when turning onto the road towards it. It’s an older hotel but very clean. Has an attached restaurant, but I didn’t eat there to know the food quality. Has an elevator, so no struggling with luggage up flights of stairs. Overall good value for money.

It was enough for my needs! Easy parking and free. Good location and nice price! The only problem is that the restaurant opens at 8 only so I had to get breakfast in another place. The room service amazing .

Whatever you do, do not stay here. Our room smelt like dirty diapers, there were homeless families with screaming kids at all hours of the day and night. It's in a horrible neighborhood and it looked like a murder happened in our room. There were reddish stains all over the carpet and drapes. It was absolutely disgusting. I told my husband I would rather lose my $200 and get a different hotel room then stay there. He talked me into staying as we were really only going to be using our room for less than six hours. I sprayed everything with my perfume to get the dirty diapers smell out of the room. I don't think the carpets have been washed in years. Save yourself the hassle. Don't stay here.

The hotel wasn’t anything too special. The carpets in the halls and rooms require a cleaning, the room I stayed in (non-smoking) smelled of smoke. The tub drain was plugged by the stopper before my stay and the faucet leaked my first day/night; by the morning the tub had filled with water. Some outlets didn’t work and the thick blanket provided smelled of body odour. The staff were helpful and friendly but the hotel itself needs to be updated.

Bathroom floor had white fluff on it asked for a room disability friendly when booking tub 2ft high Asked for 5:00AM wake-up call never got it. Rug is thread bare in areas cloth at foot of bed had black spots on it. Mattress sinks in middle and soft from age. This is far from a three star hotel

The room I was staying in had a door connecting to my neighbours' room. The sound isolation was already not great, but with that door it was unacceptable - I could hear every word my neighbours were saying (and vice versa). One of them was incredibly loud early in the morning when I was feeling unwell and needed to get proper sleep, and I could not get transferred to another room because they were all full. I also did not expect this place to not have breakfast included. There is only one restaurant in the building; otherwise, you gotta walk for quite a bit to reach any food places (I did not have a car). The staff were lovely and did everything in their power to help me, no issues there.

Right now the construction makes it hard to get to. There were a lot of shady folk hanging around the parking lot making it appear unsafe. The staff tried to charge me more than my quoted price. The hotel is nice and well maintained. Rooms was huge! The restaurant was great food was delicious. I am so glad they had one so we did not have to go searching for a place to eat. I am sure that once the road construction is completed this will be a fabulous place to stay.

The parking was pretty good, although I missed the turn into the hotel as it was a bit hidden. This is an older property and, even though breakfast is included at some Admiral Inn locations, it is not included here. I didn't buy breakfast as I didn't see anything I wanted so cannot comment on that. The room was comfortable enough though the bathroom was a little dated. Everything was as clean as it could be, given the age. Front desk reception was extremely friendly and helpful. I really did appreciate both the check-in and check-out. It was a fine enough stay for what I needed.

The location is g great, lots of green space, bus stop almost on the doorstep, and a large shopping mall within walking distance. Children running around the parking lot, one two or three year old squatted in the middle of the parking lot entrance, screaming, his mother tried to talk to him. Our car stuck half in and half out of the short driveway, creating a very dangerous situation for us.

I found Admiral Inn Hamilton was surprisingly accessible for someone without a car coming in from Toronto Union station (Go Train to Burlington, then Bus #1 to York at Dundurn). Met up in the mid-afternoon with my sister, brother-in-law and their son who were also staying there briefly before we left to attend a wedding and reception nearby. I can't comment on the restaurant since, other than coffee in the morning, we did not have the time to eat there. Similarly, the main reason I gave the services and facilities only 4 rather than 5 stars was that I did not use them.

The staff are very nice and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and tidy but a little dated. The dining room is very nice and the food was good. It is in a nice location with a very large park and Dundurn Castle across the road. However, the main entrance has steps and no ramp making it difficult to carry luggage into the building and not wheelchair accessible. The front door also doesn't stay open which makes it difficult to get luggage in and out. Great place to stay at a reasonable price.

While the room was clean and comfortable, there was no extra toilet tissue and we had to ask for it. The carpets in the lobby, hallways, and dining room are badly worn and filthy. The tables in the dining room were dirty and not cleaned after the last guests. We were asked to pick a different table and moved twice before we found one that was somewhat clean. The salmon was terrible, a little piece that was so dry, tough, and inedible, the frozen peas and carrots came cold. The wait staff were too busy with take out orders and kept sit down patrons waiting much too long. We won't be back.
