Lovely looking hotel with great location (great view from the lounge) and decent outdoor pool and gym BUT! absolutely not a 5 star hotel in terms of service levels. Nobody at club lounge desk for the 24 hours we were there. Lacking in hospitality and staff fleeting all evening. Where was the host to greet us and ask how our day was or tend to guests? Poor selection of 3 evening canapes. Main reception staff were harried and almost to the point of rudeness. Worst part staying on the 19th floor we were assaulted sleepwise by a dj playing for a private party on the floor directly above. The music so loud my bedside table was literally reverberating until 2.45am when it finally stopped. Rang for earplugs, then obliged to head down to main reception at 2.30am to complain when it transpired the noise wasnt from another venue but from within the actual hotel!. What sort of establishment thinks they can get away with treating club floor guests like that ? Shoddy. We were surprised and grateful during breakfast when we did finally get table service on morning 2 but even then there appears to be a lot of staff training going on. Lots of staff and chefs in and out. Seems very amateur whole set up and not to the levels of an international hotel. We switched from a standard room to a club room over 2 nights and it seemed as if we were just creating a hassle for reception staff. Nothing seamless or automatic. Lots of queueing. Next time ill revert to a dependable brand.

Stayed 6 nights

I was disappointed with our six-night stay. The biggest issue was the bed linens. Nearly every set of sheets provided had visible stains and/or tears. Although they had been laundered, the stains remained. One pillowcase had a noticeable whitish stain. Whether it was saliva, another bodily fluid, guests should never have to wonder what their face is touching. Stained or torn linens should be removed from service. We continued finding stained or damaged sheets throughout our stay, with the possible exception of one night. I reported this same issue each time, yet it persisted. The staff tried to help, but every replacement sheet seemed to have another stain or hole. This points to a broader quality-control issue with the hotel’s linen or laundry service, and I’d urge management to review it closely. I also found a large blood stain on the bathroom door and stains on the sofa. This was especially off-putting for both my son and me, and was one of several reasons we requested a room change to a higher floor on our second day. Even after switching to the new room, I was still finding stained linens. On the fifth day, when I showed Mr. Koray from Guest Relations another picture of a stained sheet, he kindly apologized for the inconveniences and offered complimentary airport transfers, which I appreciated. However, a five-star hotel should not require guests to repeatedly report basic cleanliness issues, especially something as unacceptable as a blood stain on a bathroom door.
