Lovely hotel room in a great location right by the main station. Shuttle is a bonus and staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Only downside is pool access as this costs in addition to the stay. Considering how much is already being spent on rooms, feels as though this should be included in your stay.

Hotellet er sentralt. Vi booket det da det hadde treningsrom. Det må man betale 3300yen for per person for å bruke. Samme gjelder svømmebassenget. Svært støvete under sengen, samt noe kliss opp langs møbler. Dynene går hele tiden ut av sengetøyet grunnet syntetisk sengetøy. Hotellet bærer nok preg av å være alt for stort og litt for gammelt

Hotel was clean, shower pressure was outstanding. Staff was friendly and helpful, each floor had and ice machine and water filler that gave out ice cold water, good start to a hot day. Plus a 10 min walk from Kyoto station is nice if you are bringing luggage or doing tours. Only thing I did not like was the fact they charge to use the pool per person per day.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofes und bietet einen kostenlosen Shuttle Bus an, der regelmäßig tagsüber verkehrt. Das Frühstück kostet extra und ist relativ teuer mit 4800 Yen. Es gibt zwar eine Station für frische Rühreier bzw. Omeletts. Allerdings machen sie keine normalen Spiegeleier, was wir etwas seltsam fanden. In Hiroshima, in einem Hotel der gleichen Kette gab es ein vergleichsweise großes Büfett und mehr Auswahl. Auch die Benutzung des Pools bzw. Fitnessraumes kostet extra. Das erfährt man aber nur, wenn man sich die Webseite des Hotels genau anschaut. Die Zimmer sind OK und relativ groß. Die Bäder scheinen etwas aus der Zeit gefallen zu sein, mit Duschvorhang und Badewanne erinnern sie eher an die 90er Jahre. Es ist aber alles sauber und in Ordnung.

with two young children, my wife and I stayed in this hotel for three night in July 2025. The only thing we liked about this hotel was its location, as it is close to the convenience stores and the Kyoto Station. the things we did not like about it is as follows: 1) We found 3 cockroaches in our room. the room was not super clean either! 2) they charge extra for the breakfast of the young kids. At least in another hotel we used in Japan the breakfast was free for 5 yrs old and younger kids. 3) they charge extra if you want to use swimming pool or the gym.

The hotel was average, there was some good but also some concerning items that made the stay not great. It was close to the station which was my top priority. The rooms were good, the beds themselves were average size for Japan, the water pressure was great, the bathroom design was good and the rooms were quiet. The bedding material was bad. The pillows were flat and didn't offer enough support and the comforter provided was a duvet that constantly slipped out of it's cover. Honestly the worst bedding in any hotel I have stayed at. The wi-fi would only connect for 30 seconds to 1 minute and then would disconnect and not be able to reconnect for over 15 minutes. The staff were average. They seemed friendly and professional, but we're always preoccupied. The hours for the in hotel restaurants and bar were not great. The service at the bar was below average and disappointing. The price was very fair for the service received, however I would probably not stay there again unless the bedding and wifi were corrected.

夫婦と小学生の子供1人で急遽当日予約しました。ベッドは２つでサブのベッドなしの部屋となっていましたが、着いてみるとサブのベッドがあり、子供も快適に休むことができました。宿泊人数を考慮いただいたのか、部屋をアップグレードして頂いたのではないかと思われました。部屋までご案内いただいたホテルマンの方もとても気さくにお話しいただき、おすすめの場所など教えていただきました。とても気遣いのある対応は素晴らしいと思います。京都に行く時は、また利用します。

縦割りのスタッフの業務には問題はないと思いますが連携が全くありませんでした。大阪リーガロイヤルでは問題はないのにフロントにタクシーをお願いをするとベルへベルからは外の駐車場係へ言ってくださいとたらい回しの対応はダメでしょう。年末の忙しいのは理解できますが、従業員の皆さんのコミュニケーション不足でしかないのではないでしょうか。残念です。

Lovely and very clean hotel! The staff were extremely respectful and courteous throughout our stay. We appreciated the breakfast options — both the French set menu and the buffet were excellent. My family also loved the convenient location, close to Kyoto Station, shopping malls, and popular tourist attractions. I asked the concierge to help me find a taxi at 5:30 a.m. to Ninenzaka, and they arranged it in less than 10 minutes. The staff even made sure it was the right taxi for me. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kyoto and will happily recommend this hotel to our friends.

We booked because of proximity to the train station, however it does not tell you that you need to go up a flight of stairs to use a pedestrian walkway to cross the road. This is difficult when carrying luggage. However, the staff were lovely and very helpful, and the hotel has a shuttle bus to bring you back to the station.

We’ve stayed at the location in the past and liked the location being close to the Kyoto Station but not too close. The hotel is easily walkable to the station with Aeon Mall and Avanti Mall near the hotel and the train station. We enjoyed to vast array of food available at the Kaza breakfast buffet. When the restaurant opened for breakfast at 6:30 am there was a really long line waiting to get in. Staff handled to line into the buffet well and the line moved quickly. Food was fresh, tasty and there was a wide variety of breakfast options to suit every taste. Our grandchildren, who are picky eaters, enjoyed themselves at the buffet the last time we stayed at the RHIGA Kyoto. One suggestion to reduce the lines would be to locate the egg station separately from the rest of the hot dishes. Still, we feel the staff hospitality and the hotels cleanliness is a big reason we continue to choose the RHIGA Hotel chain while staying in Japan either for business or leisure.

The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and reasonably spacious. The interior has a nice Japanese-style design, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. The location is also very convenient with many shops nearby. Even without the shuttle bus, it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to Kyoto Station, and there are several convenience stores along the way. My husband & I absolutely Loved this place! It was so convenient to everything, the staff was super helpful & there's a bike rental shop across the street so we didn't have to pay for taxi/Uber's all the time to get around. The restaurants were delicious and the bar in the basement was such a vibe, we loved it so much we extended our stay. 10/10 will definitely go back!

The hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff are extremely helpful. The hotel is located very conveniently to the main Kyoto train station. The hotel facilities are excellent. The only downside is the breakfast- which has limited options and despite our 4 nights/5 days stay at the hotel, there was no variation in the menu. In addition, all rooms facing the railway lines get loud train noise. Avoid rooms facing the railway line. Also, the air conditioning in one of our rooms was not working and despite the floor standing air conditioners provided by the hotel as replacement was still quite warm (we had booked 2 rooms on the executive floor).

Having a shuttle to Kyoto Station was very helpful. I do wish it started running earlier than 9am as so many of the attractions get busy before that time and getting there early is important. Otherwise, this hotel was clean and provided exactly what we needed for our 3 day stay in Kyoto! I would stay again.
