Reception area was spacious with seating areas indoors and outdoors. The huge breakfast room was well-laid out and had many various options, and it had very efficient staff. There are two elevators that are larger than some other European hotels. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bathroom, also. The only negatives for us were the lighting in the bathroom is not adequate for viewing yourself in the mirror. There is a magnifying mirror on the wall, but the light above the sink is poor. There is a hair dryer but it constantly shuts itself off after only a couple minutes. Then you have to wait until it will work again. Our refrigerator was inoperable, but we didn’t need it and reported it to the main desk. The reception staff was outstanding! They gave us so many directions and explanations and restaurant suggestions that they made our experience in Paradiso memorable.

Excellent! This is my favourite hotel in Paradiso, exceptional service & clean spacious rooms. They offer a very good breakfast buffet selection, much more choice than other Swiss hotels. There is secure underground parking, at additional cost. You are located very close to Lugano centre so it’s easy to walk to the lake from from the hotel. Definitely recommended!

This was a good hotel in a convenient location. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. For areas of improvement, the parking situation could be improved to reduce stress at check-in, being that the hotel requires you to make a separate request to get parking, even though the description says that parking is available (but it is not actually available unless you know that you have to make the separate request in advance because otherwise it is “full”). Luckily there was parking available in a separate parking structure just a short walk around the corner. Secondly, all of the pillows were miserably flat and uncomfortable in our room and also in our friends’ rooms.

The staff was great and informative. Breakfast buffet was really good and service staff was very accommodating. Our room was dated and past years renovations were poorly done. Multiple obvious plumping changes in the bathroom. The bathroom has experienced so much water damage that the flooring is very bowed. Some areas need better cleaning. Moldy calking and grout in bathroom. Indoor pool area however, was clean and well maintained.

Das Hotel liegt an guter Lage in Paradiso in Fussdistanz zum See und nach Lugano. Zimmer sind relativ klein, aber es reicht zum Schlafen…. Frühstück sehr vielseitig und gut. Kleiner Pool auf dem Dach zur Abkühlung, sowie eine Bar mit Service am Pool. Drinks überteuert für das was sie bieten….

Das Personal war stehts freundlich und hilfsbereit! Leider war der Dachpool und Poolbar geschlossen wegen umbau,leider wurde das niergends notiert! Und für 2 Spiegeleier mit Deko zahlt man 9.-, ich finde das gehört zum Frühstücksbuffet....

Difficile de noter l'hôtel compte tenue de ses différences de standing. Personnel : parfait, polyglotte, serviable, aimable (à la réception, au service ou housekeeping). Petit déjeuner : très bien, beucoup de choix et savoureux . Etat général de l'hôtel : réception, salon, restaurant : très bien Piscine rooftop : 90 cm de profondeur, trop peu pour qu'un adulte puisse nager. Bar rooftop : ouvert de 15 à 20:00, la terrasse est super mais sans ombre donc agréable que le soir et malheureusement déjà fermée. La piscine intérieure: 120 cm d'eau et une bonne taille qui permet de faire quelques longueurs. La chambre comfort (que j'ai réservée): indigne d'un 4 étoiles !!! Certes, mini-bar et machine espresso étaient là mais le moblilier et les murs étaient déteriorés et vieux. Seul les lits avaient un statut "comfort". La grande salle de bain disposait d'une mini cabine de douche obsolète. Après la 1ère nuit, la poignée de la salle bain est restée dans ma main. J'ai été relogée dans une autre chambre, moins délabrée mais dont la baignoire n'évacuait pas l'eau. Un 4 étoiles doit offrir à ses clients des chambres convenables dans toutes les catégories (classic/ comfort/ supérieur) ce qui n'est pas le cas de cet hôtel. Impossible de charger les photos dans l'application. Dommage.

Das Hotel ist im Zentrum von Paradiso an einer ruhigen Strasse gelegen. Das Zimmer war daher ruhig und man hat wunderbar drin geschlafen. An gewissen Orten sieht man der Anlage das Alter an, das Hotel wird jedoch - so wie es aussieht - kontinuierlich renoviert. Das Bad war neu und sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Was dieses Hotel besonders macht ist der Service - die Zimmer werden anstandslos geputzt, die Bedienung im Frühstücksrestaurant war hervorragend und die Rezeption war immer mit mind .zwei Personen besetzt. Ich kann das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir waren vom Hotel Admiral positiv überrascht. Schöne Lobby. Schnelles und freundliches Check-in. Die Zimmer waren modern und sauber. Schöne Dachterrasse. Rundum ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Ich kann das Hotel nur weiter empfehlen.

Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön, das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist super, alles sehr hochwertig, frisch und lecker mit einer großen Auswahl an Speisen. Einzig das Zimmer hat mir nicht gefallen. Der TV hat nicht funktioniert, da das Kabel nicht im Fernseher blieb. Die Klimaanlage hat ebenfalls nicht funktioniert, nur die Heizung. Da aber auch das Bad keine eigene Lüftung hat, war es feucht wie im Dschungel, nachdem zwei Personen geduscht haben. Außerdem waren die Fugen im Bad alt und vergilbt und nur im Bereich der Dusche offensichtlich erneuert worden. Wenn die Mängel Bad, Klima und TV abgestellt wären, würde ich wieder kommen. Preis war für Lugano angemessen günstig.

Der Empfang war freundlich und speditiv. Leider ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen was man sehr schnell bemerkt, aber für den Preis in Ordnung ist. Was uns wirklich gestört hat war die hellhörigkeit der Räume was einen gesunden Schlaf nicht wirklich ermöglicht.

Außerdem waren die Fugen im Bad alt und vergilbt und nur im Bereich der Dusche offensichtlich erneuert worden. Wenn die Mängel Bad, Klima und TV abgestellt wären, würde ich wieder kommen. Television had no English Language channels other than CNBC financial news. Plate glass 'curtains' trapped my finger between them and the ledge; still very sore 3 days later. It would appear from one of the rooftop photos that you can see the lake. I didn't see it when I went on the rooftop.

Difficile de noter l'hôtel compte tenue de ses différences de standing. Personnel : parfait, polyglotte, serviable, aimable (à la réception, au service ou housekeeping). Petit déjeuner : très bien, beucoup de choix et savoureux . Etat général de l'hôtel : réception, salon, restaurant : très bien Piscine rooftop : 90 cm de profondeur, trop peu pour qu'un adulte puisse nager. Bar rooftop : ouvert de 15 à 20:00, la terrasse est super mais sans ombre donc agréable que le soir et malheureusement déjà fermée. La piscine intérieure: 120 cm d'eau et une bonne taille qui permet de faire quelques longueurs. La chambre comfort (que j'ai réservée): indigne d'un 4 étoiles !!! Certes, mini-bar et machine espresso étaient là mais le moblilier et les murs étaient déteriorés et vieux. Seul les lits avaient un statut "comfort". La grande salle de bain disposait d'une mini cabine de douche obsolète. Après la 1ère nuit, la poignée de la salle bain est restée dans ma main. J'ai été relogée dans une autre chambre, moins délabrée mais dont la baignoire n'évacuait pas l'eau. Un 4 étoiles doit offrir à ses clients des chambres convenables dans toutes les catégories (classic/ comfort/ supérieur) ce qui n'est pas le cas de cet hôtel. Impossible de charger les photos dans l'application. Dommage.

This was a good hotel in a convenient location. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. For areas of improvement, the parking situation could be improved to reduce stress at check-in, being that the hotel requires you to make a separate request to get parking, even though the description says that parking is available (but it is not actually available unless you know that you have to make the separate request in advance because otherwise it is “full”). Luckily there was parking available in a separate parking structure just a short walk around the corner. Secondly, all of the pillows were miserably flat and uncomfortable in our room and also in our friends’ rooms.

Es war zwar sauber, aber das Zimmer was wir bekamen entsprach gar nicht den Bildern. Es hatte gar nichts mit 4 Sternen zu tun und war überteuert. Man konnte die Fenster nicht auf Kippe öffnen. Es gab nur ein Nachttischchen. Badezimmer keine richtige Ablage, sehr alt. Wir mussten die Sachen auf den Boden stellen. Wegen Duschvorhangs und keinem Duschbecken war der Boden immer feucht und rutschig. Kaffeemaschine hat nicht funktioniert. Klima hat auch nicht richtig funktioniert. The hotel was good. There's a lot of construction at the moment across the street (where our window opened out to) and so that is quite loud. They couldn't give us two room keys at check in because they had no extra keys and that made our first day very difficult (one must have a key to turn on lights in the room but my companion wanted to go out in the evening and with only one key, I was left in the dark). We managed to get another room key the next day when they replenished their key cards.

Overall a fairly decent hotel in Paradiso which is about a 20 minute walk away from central Lugano. We were staying for 4 nights and didn't have food here so our review is predominantly focussed on the room and staff. The room was large which was nice but we had a glass headboard which was very strange and was quite worrying sometimes. Coffee machine provided in the room is a great touch but to only provide 2 (TWO) capsules per day is very limited. Give them credit, when I asked for more I received them but c'mon people, this is a coffee loving country, guests will want a coffee in the morning, then when they return later in the afternoon as a pick-me-up, minimum 4 per day please?

Das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt. Hätte beim Frühstück gerne etwas mehr auswahl gewünscht (zuwenig salziges zu viel süsses). Der Saft geht gar nicht. Das Zucker-Konsenrtat gemisch ist einfach nur das letzte! Personal und Service Top! Danke. Zimmer neben an sind gut hörbar, jedenfalls wenn der Nachbar bis morgens um 2 laute Diskossionen fürt. Badezimmer "mit Detailmängel". Wc Rolle ist sehr weit weg von der toilette. denke menschen mit kurzen Armen müssen sich von der Brille abheben. Wasserdruck sehr tief. Muss in der Badewanne (ohne Gleitschutz) fast an der Wand anlehnen am wasser auch auf dem kopf zu kriegen. Nichts desto trotz, übers ganze gesehen, gut mit verbesserungspotential.

This is a lovely hotel, easily reached by the free public transportation accessed with booking a room. Very helpful and friendly staff, two pools, comfortable, clean rooms. When my grandson forgot his backpack in a Migros store in the center of town, the reception called the store for me in Italian, and discovered it was being held in Lost and Found. Grazie bene!

Fantastic breakfast! Best ever! You don’t even have to fill your own croissant! There’s everything you could ask for. Wow the cakes! Loved the location: near the station that goes everywhere, bus stops very close and the boat station too and even closer is the funicular station which is an absolute must do! We could see it from our balcony. We came back after a day of sightseeing, very hot and rushed up to the pool which we had to ourselves, nice bar up there too. Room is very comfortable and the coffee machine works well. We loved the friendly restaurant around the corner Panariellos, big pizza to share too.
