We stayed in a junior suite room which was nice and spacious although with no view and quite a small balcony. No free upgrades but we were offered a Nile suite at a reduced price though but we declined! The hotel is a bit dated but actually clean and comfortable with 3 dining options. We ate lunch at Olives on arrival and thought it was pretty hot as they didn’t have any ceiling fans. Then miraculously ceiling fans appeared which made the eating experience so much more comfortable!! Silk Road was our favourite restaurant though with a variety of Asian cuisines. The main pool was a nice size with plenty of sun beds and they do have a slightly smaller adults only pool in another section of the hotel, which also housed a decent gym room. We also had a nice Kings & Queen spa package involving mud, stream, sauna, massage and a bath all overlooking a view of the Nile! Unfortunately it did look like they were under staffed on one of the days so everything took longer than expected but the rest of our stay remained very pleasant being care for by the polite and tentative staff there. Overall it was a very pleasant stay!

We arrived over Thanksgiving to find out a wedding was taking place and would be closing the pool area for the entirety of our stay. The wedding set up and actually party was so incredibly loud that we had to change rooms at 8pm at night. The staff was not very helpful and did not want to compensate us for the change of a premium room to basic. Very disappointed.

Beautiful location Good pool area staff service , attentive, good pools. Good food options. Fresh foods. Unfortunately spoiled by poor notification of loud events/parties late night on 2 evenings (up to 2am) leading to request a room change on one of these nights as we had an early morning tour departure. Less than ideal like sleeping in a nightclub. Areas closed off for private events without notice. E.g. entire bar area closed off one evening with staff inflexible/ being ignored despite being a guest of the hotel. Another day - another private lunch event being told that option of dining inside at lunchtime in the air conditoned restaurant was not available and being told to order room service instead , if we wanted to eat inside. Foods need labelling - some not labelled at all.

I specifically booked a room with a king size bed, got there and they didn’t have one. They were able to convert two singles for me but it seemed an odd thing to have to ask for. The room was decoratively in a rather average state, seem to have a few lumps and bumps missing and rather dated I normally enjoy a Hilton breakfast much more than this one The swimming pools looked great, but needed to be heated more. Asked member of staff if there were any toilet facilities near the pools and was told “I don’t know.” I asked the staff if there were any grocery shops nearby and they pointed me towards the small dusty trinket shops in the hotel rather than the groceries shops at the end of the entrance to the hotel which I would’ve much rather been directed towards The meal on New Year’s Eve was welcomed, but rather chaotic and multiple members of staff didn’t seem to know what was going on or when All in all the Hilton was a welcome respite from the rest of Egypt which is rather more challenging, but could do with some improvements at the same time

Wonderful views. Great to be by the Nile. Good happy happy hour on local spirits. Good food and restaurants choice. Also good spa. Location is great by the Nile but not center of town however town has not much to offer besides archeology. Lots of hassling from locals so we thought location was great anyway and taxi are cheap. Highly recommended

Excellent staff, very professional, the main problem with my review is the property, it look pretty in the pictures but all pictures for the rooms in Expedia are for the suites, another rooms are small with old furniture (tear) inside the rooms and in the halls out side the carpet is very old and smell, the river view (some rooms have balconies but 164-264-364 only have one window with river view and they charge the same price for both rooms) with balcony and widow it, the swimming pools are not clean the top one have a lot of mold in the walls and the floor is dirty (probably not brushed for long time). Besides the staff was excellent, very kind, respectful, and professional.

We had an amazing stay in Luxor! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and our experience was truly wonderful. Highly recommend!

THE BOTTLED WATER IS NOT NEW!! They sell REFILLED bottles, not new ones!!! Terrible food. The bread was stale, old fruit, frozen food at the restaurant. Not okay for a five star hotel. The rooms are also dirty.

Overall, our stay was okay. The food is priced at high, Americanized rates, which feels pretty unreasonable for Egypt. The staff, however, are friendly and kind, which made a big difference. The carpets in the main area are dated, worn out, and peeling up from the floor, and the elevator has a terrible smell. Despite that, the hotel itself is good — it has beautiful views and genuinely wonderful staff. We were also very disappointed to see that the girls working in the restaurant do the majority of the work, yet they don’t receive the tips. The men collect all of the tips, which feels unfair given how hard those women were working. Overall, I wouldn’t personally rate this as a true four- or five-star hotel. I think part of how they maintain those ratings is by asking guests to review their dining experience, which then counts toward the hotel’s overall score — a bit sneaky, in my opinion.

The hotel’s driver, from the airport, talked non stop about hiring him and offering tours. He made a detour & took the long route as a “preview” of the said tours. We empathically told him NO and that we DID NOT WANT ANY. We had been traveling in different countries for over a month and our flight/luggages was also delayed so we were EXHAUSTED and we just want to get to the hotel and relax. However, he persisted. It was such an UNWELCOME gesture. Around 2-3 am, the hotels air vents emits a FOUL cigarette smell. The rooms are small and the carpets are worn and quite outdated. You could also hear every time a door opens and closes. Some staff need to learn serving etiquette. DO NOT REACH between guests while we were having a conversation to clear the table. RUDE! Why rush when there were hardly any guests? At that time, there were 4 guest sitting and eating in that restaurant- it was quiet as can be. PROS: Great view of the NILE RIVER Sumptuous breakfast spread Wonderful room attendants & cleaners AC cool * For your airport/pickup and drops off and also TOURS book NASCO TOURS located at the outdoor thru the lobby area. Try the Felucca Sailing too.

The AC in room was bad. Ask them to fix, they just changed the filter. The room did not get below 29 degrees C. The lobby is cold but passageways and room very hot. Coming back from Tours in the heat. Really made for a bad trip.

There were a few disappointing experiences during my stay. First, I was approached by a hotel staff member outside the hotel who greeted me and insisted on giving me an unsolicited tour, which I found bothersome. To make matters worse, they asked for a tip afterward. I believe this kind of behavior should be addressed through proper staff training. Second, in Korea, it is standard practice to settle all charges at once during check-out to avoid any inconvenience to guests afterward. I was surprised and quite displeased to receive a call on the day of my departure, while I was busy preparing to leave, asking me to settle additional charges. It was an unpleasant experience, especially during such a busy time. Third, the pricing at the souvenir shop inside the hotel was unreasonable. I needed a swimsuit, and they offered a very low-quality swimsuit and goggles for 160,000 KRW. I ended up buying a better-quality set for under 30,000 KRW in the city. Although these may seem like small issues, they negatively impacted my overall travel experience. I hope improvements can be made to the facilities and services. Other than that, everything else was perfect.

Same for the pool staff, had to wait an hour for towels after repeated requests for towels. Food was okay and some staff were good, but very different than what we are used to. We arranged a private "limo transfer" with the hotel (we got a Kia van) from the airport to the hotel. The driver spent the entire ride aggressively bargaining with us & kept insisting we do not book a tour with the hotel, rather with him privately and that he had the best deal. To no surprise, the price he gave us was higher than what the hotel offered. Luckily we were not fooled regardless of how exhausted we were. The outside pool area of the property itself is undeniably gorgeous. The drinks aside from the pool are not of good quality. I kept asking for Absolute Vodka in my drink, they'd agree & charge me for it, yet upon drinking it was clear he was using lower grade vodka. The only wine that was not Egyptian was over $1000. It was also awkward sitting and watching workers fight. The rooms are small and beds are uncomfortable. Cleaning ladies do well. The restaurant aside from the pools food is very regular quality if not poor. When we went to have lunch in the restaurant where breakfast takes place, there were flies everywhere and the tables were dusty. The only restaurant we truly enjoyed was ironically the Thai restaurant. The workers were all very professional and the food was good. There are shops are big bargainers as well. When asking for Dove Soap, a woman in the store said they do not sell it. We thanked her and went to purchase something else, but she insisted we allow her to buy it for us. She charged us 500 pounds rather than the actual 45 pound price.

Had an amazing week. All the staff are very friendly and provide excellent service whether at the restaurants, pool, rooms etc. We ate at Olives a few times and prices are very reasonable and nice food too. The view is amazing. And nice to be a little further out as much quieter. Only 15 minutes walk to Karnak temple.

Our room was compact but nice and clean, we appreciated the big shower and the table and chairs in the bedroom. The view of the Nile is amazing and service by the pools was attentive. We tried the Asian restaurant for dinner and loved the Indian dishes. The breakfast buffet was varied and fresh.

We initially ate exclusively at the Nile Hilton in Luxor upon our arrival at their on site restaurants and poolside bar service ,the result , food poisoning , poor pool service in general with minimal guests on site, empty hand sanitizers , while trying to recover from food poisoning brought on by lack of hotel cleanliness, we endured ongoing harassing room calls from the hotels front desk inquiring how we were doing? Causing us to disconnect the three room phones in an attempt to get some sleep and trying to recover, all the time with a “do not disturb “sign on our door, our only alternative was to have safe food delivered from off site restaurants ,to try to eat before we departed , luckily we had brought antibiotics on our trip to Egypt, without them I would have probably needed hospitalization, the best part of this trip was departing this place! Never to return, I would not come back if they paid me! Upon arrival we Paid extra for a upgraded room with balcony , wow , what a rip off !No elevator in this “upgraded area “ haul yourself & your luggage up the stairs.If I wasn’t so ill I would have left earlier , Hilton should invest in training staff in service & personnel hygiene in hopes of lessening the chances of getting other guests sick.

The location of the hotel is beautifully situated on the Nile, with extensive views and places to sit and enjoy the sites. The staff are amazing and the hotel itself very clean with excellent amenities! The restaurant for dinner was absolutely wonderful, with some of the very best sea bass dinners I have ever had! We booked all of our excursions through the hotel - Zein and Asmaa were amazing - including the hot air balloon (which is a must do) and multiple other day trips. Our guide (Ehab) and driver were amazing! The staff was also super attentive (shout out to Maro and Mody) and do yourself a HUGE favor and book a massage at the spa. The ladies there were absolutely amazing!! Last but not least - stop by and say hi to Nermin at the omelette station, who patiently and professionally served everyone as fast as she could. DO NOT HESITATE TO STAY HERE! We will be back!
