I will start with the positives . The staff were helpful when we had to change rooms due to my husband hurting his ankle and he could not use the stairs. The hotel is close to the Wego bus line and attractions. Now the negatives. The hotel had a bad smell to it. The pool was gross. It had stuff floating in it and it smelt really bad. It needed cleaned and shocked bad. There are also no washrooms near the pool, so if you did use it, you have to go back to your room. The rooms did not get cleaned or clean sheets when I put my clean room tag of my door. They just took out the trash and that was it. When i needed towels, I had to walk to the desk to get them. The breakfast was not very good and the area you sit in is not big at all. They have a big area were they could put more seating , but instead the keep equipment and other items there. If you dont get to breakfast early you will not get a seat. They will not allow you to take breakfast out of the room, even if there is no room to sit. They make you throw it away before you exit. Breakfast ends at 9 am sharp. The breakfast had same thing evey day. Scrambled liquid eggs, patty hashbrown, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, toast, bagel, waffle station. It was ok, the sausage was over cooked. The grounds of the hotel had trash around it. The stove top in the room will not work unless you bring a metal pan that a magnetic will stick to. They don't tell you that. Bottom line if you are on a tight budget it will work, otherwise do not go.

Much of the property was old and run-down which gave it a generally dirty feel. It looks like maybe they were in the process of updating it, but I'm not sure if they were done or still going. There are no views from the site, that we could see, so don't think you'll see the river from your room. Our room was "upgraded" on arrival to what they call a "suite" on the 4th floor, and there are no elevators. The entire 4th floor, including our room, stank of decades of greasy cooking. There were dead flies in the room and the cheap thin flooring was cracked and pulling up. The AC unit in our room did not work properly - it thought the room was 93F, so it ran constantly no matter the setting. The only options were to turn it off and wake up soaked in sweat or leave it on and freeze. The included breakfast was decent, and parts of that area had been renovated. The pool area was run-down, but the pool itself looked reasonably clean, and the sauna was functional. The hotel staff were polite. So why did I give it 2 stars and not 1? The main reason is price. I have no idea how this got a 7.6 rating on this site, but if you know what you're getting into and price is your driving factor, then you may be satisfied here.

L'hôtel se trouve à proximité d'un arrêt wego (bus) pour se rendre au centre ville en 10 minutes. La chambre était assez petite. Les lits pas très larges pour deux personnes. La piscine chauffée mais l'eau était fraiche. Le petit-déjeuner copieux dans une grande salle est un plus. Le point négatif reste le paiement en supplément pour le parking alors qu'il n'est ni sécurisé ni surveillé. Ça reste un parking banal.

Nice place with friendly staff. Our room on the top floor was updated with a kitchenette which was a nice unexpected surprise! On the flip side the pool and sauna were closed which we were not expecting (but also hadn't been promised to us). The breakfast was really good, not the cheap continental breakfast, but scrambled eggs, sausages, waffle maker, etc which all tasted great. The view outside was nothing special but for the price it was worth the stay! Also, no elevator and we were on the fourth floor but they have us plenty of warnings during and after booking that there was no elevator and we didn't care about that.

Room and breakfast were great, air conditioning is fairly dated wall unit, doesn't do a great job of cooling when temperatures are warm enough to actually need it. Location is a bit sketchy, and the fee for parking is suspect given that the lot is not gated or protected and in a fairly run-down area. Power was out for a few hours during our stay and our floor had no emergency lighting to speak of so guests had to navigate with their cell phone lights.

The pool was in bad shape. Loose and missing tiles. The sauna was out of service and the jacuzzi was turned into a plant stand with no lighting in the pool area even at night.

This hotel is fine for a night but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. The room was clean but old. The beds are ok but not the most comfy. The road noise was loud since the room faced the street. The sound proofing between rooms not great. The breakfast was typical, nothing special. $20 for parking is a money grab and essentially increases the overall rate. Recommendation: stay somewhere else.

The staff was very nice and considerate. Room was clean and inviting. The surrounding area was ok across the street was lovely but the rest was meh especially if you didn’t have a front room. The only thing we didn’t like was no elevator.4 floors up and down multiple times a day was not fun. Honestly that’s our only complaint.. would stay there again but would ask for a room on the first floor.

There were hairs in the bed....our drain in the bathub wasnt draining...we requested a better room on the second night...wasnt any better...there was mold in the corner of the shower....from the outside the building looked abandoned....breakfast was ok but there could have been more seatings to accommodate all the guests....the staff was amazing though ..they tried their best to accommodate us.

Parking en extra 20$ plus taxes par nuit. C'est un vieil hotel. Il y a des beaux efforts de rénovations mais ce n'est pas suffisant pour augmenter le confort et la propreté des lieux. Il y avait des tâches de sang dans les deux lits, changés rapidement mais ça ne met pas en confiance. Cuisinette avec quelques couvert, machine a café non fonctionnelle. Jamais de vraie eau froide, impossible de la boire... Il y a de l'eau au buffet mais accessible de 7h a 9h le matin seulement. Buffet correct. Salle de bain correcte...Si c'est la seule chose que votre budget vous permet ok sinon coontinuer de chercher !

Great price for high season in the Falls. Rooms are large, renovated and clean. Good location close to Whirlpool and WeGo. Decent breakfast with sausage, egg hot items as well as cold. Lots of parking, nice indoor pool. Would definitely stay again.

The room layout was awkward—only one bedside table was actually beside the bed, and the drawer wouldn’t stay closed, which was frustrating. All the wall plugs were on the opposite side of the room, so if you need to plug something in beside the bed, you’re out of luck. Overall, the space didn’t feel very welcoming or thoughtfully arranged.

Our room faced the river and cliffside so it was a beautiful view. It was a little loud at night, however, with thin walls and floor/ceilings, but a perfectly nice inn with the right amenities available.

Thank god for the air conditioning during our visit,m; we really needed it. And, breakfast- what can we say? It had variety, hot food as well as cold and lots of gluten free options. The room was large and clean. We were happy with it.

The room was very clean. There was a lot of noise in the hallway at night and in the parking lot (but Niagara is a party spot). The main complaint is that the room did not have many outlets to charge devices. We had to unplug the radio clock and lamp by the bed to charge 2 phones. Otherwise the property was fine.

The property was located in a nice area close to the falls. Receptionist stayed late to accommodate our arrival. - The breakfast staff on duty was exceptional in keeping the breakfast area tidy and well stocked at all time never running out no matter what time you arrived.

We arrived at the property and observed receptionist telling another customer that system was down and they could not check them in. The staff went over and above for us. Room was large and quite comfy. The beds were the most comfortable I think I have ever experienced in a hotel. Slept like a bear. Will definitely be staying again!!

Due to the emergency matter I was not able to check in the hotel but I was charged double times for the room rate. I understand the pre payment won’t be refunded if I failed check in but I don’t think they could charge me double times. I contacted them and never got anything back.

For disclosure. I did not easily complain about poor experiences. I work in customer service, so have some sympathy. But this was an awful check-in experience that was handled very badly by the hotel. I arrived early in the day to bag drop and leave the car. When I came back later to check-in, my booked room was given to someone else by mistake. I was the charged 3 times for tourist tax, despite only 2 rooms. I was told my credit card was the problem for a hold charge no going through. Despite 5 cards across 4 people having the same issue, and me point out the clear obvious evidence that its the hotel system. They followed up again to say one charge is pending and won't get charged. Incorrect again, I've been charged. Desk person asked for ID 3 times, finally disappearing with it to do something on a computer (I assume book a new room?). Having someone take your ID away for 30min is not comfortable. We were told our parking would be waived, only to find a charge was applied without disclosure. I was told my credit card was the problem, the same one that booked the room at was just charged tourist tax. I was then asked for a non BMO card. The Power was out when we arrived to check in. As a result we were not able to check in, attendant said they would call us when it was ready. 2 hours later we came by the power was back on and they did not call us. When I asked I was advised that they were too busy to call, after having offered to call to let us know when the power had returned.

Our room faced the river and cliffside so it was a beautiful view. It was a little loud at night, however, with thin walls and floor/ceilings, but a perfectly nice inn with the right amenities available.

I really liked the location. Not far from all of the Niagara Parks attractions, but away from the congestion and not up the hill. We both use walkers and could get to our room without a problem. The only problem was having to use a few stairs to get to the registration desk, but we would stay there again.

It's a nice hotel. It's a little bit away from everything, so you'd definitely need to have a car - or take the WeGo which has a stop nearby.

I stayed one night only. The room was clean but a little dated. The amenities were very good and all worked well It is a rather long walk to the falls but it is feasible (about 40 minutes) Overall I was very satisfied

Easy travel around if you get the card to use the bus service. If you get a room with the view to the US side, is an excellent view! The staff were nice, the breakfast is good. I went on low season (Oct 9-13) so the traffic was good. Places to eat, drink and by souvenirs are near.

I will start with the positives . The staff were helpful when we had to change rooms due to my husband hurting his ankle and he could not use the stairs. The hotel is close to the Wego bus line and attractions. Now the negatives. The hotel had a bad smell to it. The pool was gross. It had stuff floating in it and it smelt really bad. It needed cleaned and shocked bad. There are also no washrooms near the pool, so if you did use it, you have to go back to your room. The rooms did not get cleaned or clean sheets when I put my clean room tag of my door. They just took out the trash and that was it. When i needed towels, I had to walk to the desk to get them. The breakfast was not very good and the area you sit in is not big at all. They have a big area were they could put more seating , but instead the keep equipment and other items there. If you dont get to breakfast early you will not get a seat. They will not allow you to take breakfast out of the room, even if there is no room to sit. They make you throw it away before you exit. Breakfast ends at 9 am sharp. The breakfast had same thing evey day. Scrambled liquid eggs, patty hashbrown, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, toast, bagel, waffle station. It was ok, the sausage was over cooked. The grounds of the hotel had trash around it. The stove top in the room will not work unless you bring a metal pan that a magnetic will stick to. They don't tell you that. Bottom line if you are on a tight budget it will work, otherwise do not go.

I work in a hotel management school. Room was clean. Perfect for guests with allergies like myself (no overwhelming room air fresheners and harsh smelly detergents used to clean sheets). Receptionist is shy but provides the required information and is helpful. Staff in breakfast room is extremely kind and efficient. Breakfast has an abundance of healthy and fresh food options, as well as waffles you can make on the spot. Pool looked great extremely clean. Additional parking fees apply BUT you get FREE parking in locations closer to the falls which balances things out.

There is no green space on property or outdoor seating available. Not enough seating in breakfast area and you are not permitted to take food to room to consume even though you have a table and chairs in the room. Very odd. The room was fine.

Property is clean but rooms are very dated, Mattress just ok, other hotels in the area much better. Bed sheets worn thin, mine had a couple of holes in it. Additional parking fee and “Niagara tax” is a cash grab. Nice breakfast area (newly renovated) with good continental breakfast. Scrambled Eggs very good.

The room was nice and it smelled clean. Hallways and areas are dated and it's looking pretty run down in certain areas. Checking in we waited quite a while for someone to come to the front desk, who wasn't the most friendly. But it was in a decent location and a nice room for the money.
