A little loud at night with party people but that is dependant on who is around during the stay. Rooms are dated but clean. Found it strange there was shampoo but no soap? Breakfast is Continental so don't expect much more than toast, cereal and coffee. It is exactly as described. Additional fee for parking but that is listed so I was fine with that. Good place to stay for the price.

You get what you pay for. Relatively low price in the vicinity of a major attraction. Staff were friendly. Breakfast bar was good (waffles, toast, fruit, mini muffins, juice, coffee, tea, cereal/oatmeal). Parking was plentiful and easy in/out for extra $10/day. Pool was small but clean and usable, detached from building. AC worked fine. Maintenance came quickly when called for a slow shower drain. Many restaurants within walking or easy drive from property. Generally safe and quiet with the exception of a revving car with loud music for a hour late one night. Needed to drive and park elsewhere to get all the way to the Falls (one hour walk). Small TV had streaming services; needed to turn it on from the set but remote worked otherwise. Small coffee maker in room with 2 coffee packets, microwave and ice in lobby, no fridge (as advertised). Shampoo and soap provided, no conditioner or lotion. Room had stained sheets, mattresses, walls, carpet and chairs, cigarette holes all over. Surfaces were sticky or watermarked. Walls were stained and poorly/not repaired. Table wobbled. No screens on windows. Dozens of holes in blackout curtain. Carpet left black stains on bare feet. Room smelled of smoke despite being “nonsmoking.” You get what you pay for.

No problem with staff room was clean the extra charge for parking is not right and the heavy charge for my dog was a lot what extra work involved for the amount,outside building was very dirty needs alot of repairs done around the property overall appearance was unacceptable. I would hope that i would see alot of improvements to stay at this location again.

This hotel I wouldn’t recommend, there was blood stains in the bedding and on the mattresses, the bathrooms were disgusting, towels felt like absolute sandpaper, also there was no mini fridge even though it said there was when booking, I had to call for a lightbulb for our lamp I told them I would just install it myself because he said they didn’t have maintance guys… honestly for the price okay fine it’s a place to sleep but absolutely not again…

During my stay, my phone fell under the bed. When I moved the bed to retrieve it, I found a used needle. This is completely unacceptable and dangerous. When I reported it to the front desk, the staff did not apologize, did not seem shocked, and offered no compensation or solution. The lack of cleanliness and lack of concern from the staff is alarming. I would not recommend staying here.

This was the most disgusting motel I have ever been in. The room stank from cigarettes and urine. The chairs were stained, and there were stains on the furniture. There was an open, used bar of soap and a used washcloth in the bathroom. There was an apple core in the garbage can. It stank stank stank to high heaven. Absolutely disgusting.

We were checked into a room which had cockroaches (live and dead). When we called to complain they became defensive stating they had certificates to confirm they were pest free. They moved us to another room which felt like a downgrade because we lost the fridge, smart tv and phone from our room. Atleast there were no cockroaches though. Beds uncomfortable too. Would not recommend

The rooms were not clean. The bathroom vanity faucet was not connected properly and was leaking water to the bottom of the vanity every time the faucet was opened. The wall paint chipped away at some places.

The room was dirty. Charged for parking but not for everyone when I asked a few people. Towels and linens looked so old. If I did not pay already I would have left. So bad that I will never stay at another Howard Johnson.

The door had gaps all around it, there was construction debris all around, reception was dirty and untidy, while it had new paint in the room, the furniture and fixtures were old and chipped and rusty and tired. Beds were clean and comfortable. Parking fees.

Given the CA$300 room rates in Niagara Falls, we are happy with this motel. It was clean, felt safe, staff was friendly. WiFi was great! Motel is easily reached by the Red Line WEGO and the surrounding area was interesting. I recommended Pho Bowl restaurant. Just a few minor things like bathroom door didn’t lock, sinks had no stoppers. I would stay there again

Hairs all over the floor in bathroom. Black long hair ewww. And in the tub that’s bad and nasty. Tv was not in place no base on it. The dresser would not open at all. Was not able to use it at all. Parking was 10 dollars a night extra on top of ya room rental. No mini fridge or microwave in room at all or hair dryer . The pool has no water and was closed down. The breakfast was mini muffins and fruit only. No juice and the cereal was bad looking. The one bed the headboard was not attached to the bed . And looked broken. Did not even attempt to sleep on that bed . So we slept on the other bed in the room ( it was so soft but was ok till you layed down and ya feet were above ya head . Just was an over all bad experience id it had 0 stars I would give 0 .

The room was clean but in terrible condition. The mattress was old, squeaky and saggy. The toilet was not properly bolted down so it rocked. The ceiling tiles over the tub were water stained. The tiles around the tub were broken. The bedding was very worn and the towels were the cheapest I have ever seen. The faucet handle was so loose that I had to tighten it to be able to use it. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

I expected much better from a Howard Johnson property. The first room I was given was in the middle of a renovation with no carpet and the furniture in the corner. The second room was clean but very tired looking. The ac unit was too high to see the controls and I am 6 ft 2! Also the tv didn’t work and it appeared the wiring came through a fixture in the wall that surely didn’t meet the electrical code. The third room had a working Tv but was in just as bad condition as the others. The furniture and fixtures all need replacing!

I question its rating of 3 star but for the hotel, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower was awkwardly small but good. It would have been nice to see a shower head on an extension. It was a shower head directly on the wall pipe. The curtain was good. The a/c was a little noisy but efficient.

Staff aren’t really friendly and they are slow on their job. It took em 1.30 hours to sort everything. The picture don’t really match with the picture, bathroom was bad and bed was so noisy like it will break if you sit. Outlet are getting off the wall and it’s very risky. Changed 3 rooms and still the same. I would not go there again.

Outstanding Service and Honesty! I’d like to give a big thank you to the amazing staff at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Niagara Falls. Almost a month ago, I accidentally left my camera stand at the hotel. When I returned today and asked about it, they had kept it safe and returned it to me right away. I truly appreciate their honesty and excellent customer service. Special thanks to the niece of the staff who helped me with a smile. You all made my day!

Disappointing Experience I recently stayed at this hotel and was deeply disappointed by the service. The staff were rude and unhelpful, which is far from the warm, welcoming Canadian spirit I expected. Hospitality should be about making guests feel valued, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. I hope the management takes steps to improve their customer service to align with the standards of genuine care and respect that travelers deserve.

The staff were very helpful and made things easy for us when we needed to change our reservation. Both rooms were very clean and tidy when we switched rooms due to our reservation. Would recommend this hotel as it is within walkable distance of everything and service was great. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and we will be back to stay.

We just needed somewhere to stay ovee for the night after a concert. For that purpose it was fine. Clean, beds were comfortable, room had wear and tear, but try finding one that doesnt in Niagara Falls at this price point. Free breakfast was bare minimum, but that's all we needed. Surprised to get a $10 upcharge for parking there overnight. Check in was smooth and easy. Check out wasnt that great, ended up being delayed in leaving. At desk for 7:45am, nobody was there. Waited 15 minutes (woth others waiting behind us) tried calling the number multiple times (and heard the phone ringing right in front of us) nobody came...we decided to run across the street to Tim Hortons and came back, two people were now in the back room, but still had to wait for their conversation to finish before being served. Left about 30 minutes later than expected. Maybe invest in a bell?

I loved the location that the property was at. Close enough to the things you wanted to do without being on top of them so you have some separation. The only downfall for this property is that you can tell people live in this hotel full time so there were broken down carbs in the parking lot and people just standing around. Making it a little uneasy. Otherwise nice enough place.

Good location on Lundy's Lane. Lots of restaurants and and easy to find things to do. Beds not to bad. he property itself is in need of some updating. The shower was very hard to turn all the way off after showering. Wall paper is in need of replacement as several areas are peeling. Heater in bathroom was very rusted. . One chair needs some work on the seat. Second room had issues with the TV and AC.

You got what you pay for. This place was inexpensive with a low parking fee. Considering we just needed a place to sleep and keep our stuff while we visited the area, this did the job. The room was nice sized but had no microwave or refrigerator. We did not use the jetted tub mostly because after walking around all day, we were too exhausted. Breakfast was waffles, juice, coffee, muffins, fruit, hot and cold cereal the first day. The instant oatmeal was out for the second morning we were there.

This was great value for the money spent, an older property but well maintained. Newer tub and tub surround, air conditioning was the window type but quiet and worked well. Not much on the continental breakfast but enough toast, muffins and fruit the coffee was great and they did have a waffle maker. Staff were friendly and efficient.

My stay was as expected for a motel on the cheaper end. It was clean enough, comfy, everything worked in the room, and the pool was clean as well. Breakfast was a bit hectic as there was not much space for everyone to get their breakfast at the same time, but there were waffles and muffins, fruit and toast. Check in and check out was easy and quick. I am happy with my stay and would stay here again.

The room was update which was nice. The towels/cloths could be replaced with new ones as they were quite thin but other than that it was good for the amount of money that you pay. The attached Purplemint restaurant was very good!

This place houses a restaurant 'Purplemint Kitchen', and OMG!! the food here is sooo delicious......we tried the Indian food items (Paneer Lababdar, Garlic Naan, Veg. Gravy Manchurian and Veg. Hakka Noodles) which had the perfect amount of spices and the taste was on par!! The room cleanliness and convenience tool it to the next level.
