Nice hotel and facilities. A bit disappointed because I called to confirm they offered free EV chargers and then when arriving at the property they told me EV chargers were close due to renovation. I had to pay and charge my EV in a public charger.

When checking in, the front desk tried to charge us $14 for parking although it was included with our Expedia reservation (happened at our last stay too). Our room was nice and clean and the robe and crib we requested were quickly delivered to us. The pool and hot tub were nice, but it would be great if Brookstreet could offer some courtesy lifejackets and water wings like many other local hotels do - it's an easy thing to forget. We were disappointed that the children's pool area is still not available - this would be hugely beneficial for us since we have a 3-year-old and a walking 10-month-old. Kids slept in a little late which was a nice surprise, but when we requested a late checkout, we were only given 30 minutes. That was disappointing since many hotels have noon checkout and that extra hour means that you can really enjoy the amenities that you came for without being in a frenzied rush to checkout. We attempted to make the best of things. I went down to scope out the sauna, but it was closed for the week. I checked the website once we arrived home to see if I had missed that, but there was no mention of it. Overall, it was an okay stay.

Fantastic stay at Brookstreet! The room was spotless and beautifully set up, with a bed and pillows that were unbelievably comfortable - best sleep I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. Everything felt fresh and well cared for. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip.

This hotel as a whole is very nice. I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There were dust bunnies in the corners, hair stuck to the toilet and a gross stain on one of the chairs, like dried up food.

I am actually going to contact the health department about this hotel. Our bathroom was not clean at all, in fact, it was disgusting. The tiles were all covered in black mold. It was something that could easily be wiped off as you can see in the pictures....so why was it not cleaned? I visited the front desk twice to voice my concerns and was told that the manager would contact me. I did not receive a call, we were not moved and we received no compensation. I tried calling the hotel to speak to the manager and I have emailed and none of my correspondence has been returned.

I found the room rather dark. There was lots of lighting options in the room and even with all the lights on, the room still felt dark. We also had a bright spot light outside of our window that was rather annoying when trying to sleep. Other than that, the hotel was great.

Great room with a lovely view of the City, and the golf course below. The food in the restaurant was very good. Staff were helpful. The only minor downside was that at Christmas the hours for the fitness facility were limited. Will go back when I have more time to enjoy the facilities.

My only complaint is that the tv options were lacking, no way to cast to the TV, no option on the TV for Netflix or Disney. And the only movies available for rent were not even new movies. Everything else about our stay exceeded expectations.

I've stayed here a few times now and it's a beautiful spot. Hotel is great and restaurants are also delicious. In our room the shower was half working - half the water passed thru the shower head and half remained out the drain. The clock doesn't quote work as some of the LED lights didn't work anymore.

The staff at the Brookstreet was excellent. I needed to change rooms because the first one they gave me smelled like cigarette smoke. They were understanding and accomidating. I love that visitors have 3 hour free parking too! For such a nice hotel, the location is a bit odd. Most of my golf course view was of the business park around the hotel.

Excellent experience from the moment I checked in; front desk staff was best I have encountered. Room was well kept and modern and all features worked properly. Pool area was too crowded to enjoy, it felt like members of the general oublic are able to buy access to the pool as they didn’t appear to be of the same quality as the guests staying at the hotel.

We went to Ottawa for a fitness competition and chose this hotel stay at and it was incredible. Service was amazing. I felt sick over the weekend and the staff brought ice to my room at 3 AM within minutes. The balcony option was amazing. The cleanliness was on point and the bed was so comfortable.

Waited in line for over an hour to check in. Everyone was drinking in the line up. I told my husband to wait in the are with the kids because people were very rowdy. Got to the front of the line not an apology, not an explanation, the only words that were spoke sounded scripted. Not very personable. Staff were not smiling, didnt seem to care, constatnly looking at watches if people were taking to much time. This isnt the first time staying here, but it may be our last.

This is a pleasant enough stay in a hotel with lots of facilities. The outdoor pool was appreciated. Dining facilities are quite limited, with a very small menu which meant I ate the same thing two nights running (there are no other restaurants within walking distance). Sushi as half the menu in a one-restaurant hotel is never a good idea. Service on one of the nights was quite poor, and we ended up stuck behind a big group and told by the waitstaff that 'I tried to get you in before the large group' only after we waited almost an hour. This is NOT a reflection of the courtesy or friendliness of the waitstaff, more about inadequate restaurant management.

travelled here to watch the Tampa vs Ottawa game nov 4th. the hotel was beautiful, in a quiet area. staff were very friendly. There was a shuttle to and from the Canadian tire centre for only $10 which was way cheaper than a parking pass at the arena. I come to Ottawa once a year to watch my team play, this is my first time staying at the Brookstreet, and I will definitely be back next year. 5 stars across the board

We really enjoy staying at Brookstreet in Kanata! The staff are amazing and extremely friendly. The rooms are modern and very specious. If you happen to get a room with golf course view, you definitely would enjoy the view and extra space! There are quite a bit of places for dining in the area and the parking is underground and heated. This is the hotel to stay at if you are in Ottawa!

The food was way overpriced, in the main restaurant. The dishes were pretentious and not tasty. Rolly was rude upon entry to the restaurant. He asked if we had a reservation (although the restaurant was nearly empty), then he tossed our menus on to the table and left us. It felt like we had been an inconvenience. The staff at the cafe were excellent and friendly. Check in and check out was easy The gym facility was overcrowded with equipment that was in poor condition. The pads on various weight machines were torn and had foam stuffing coming out of the damaged vinyl.
