Good price for a one-night stay. Wi-fi didn't work.

We liked that we were able to get into our room earlier than 3 pm as we arrived in town and were weary from travelling. The staff was friendly and accommodating in that regard. The only things we did not like was the fact that the hotel policy was that they do not come to clean the rooms and give new towels every day unless you specifically request this service. This was not made clear on check-in. We found it out when searching the motel online. Also the ice machine was not working, we had to go offsite to get ice every day. Great location, close to Parliament Hill and lots of shopping and restaurants around.

Parking in downtown is the best part

Parking was easy. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

Easy to get to... ample of free parking space. We had our Harley's parked against the wall visible to the front desk staff.... we walked to Byward market for dinner.... it was a great walk... safe and lots of restaurants to choose from. I woukd stay here again.

Convenient and easy parking

Pros - location, room size, good value, on-site parking included, bagged breakfast include juice, muffin and yogurt (although they ran out at 9am when they said it was available until 9:30am) Cons - wifi service (almost non existent. Speedtest at less than 1 mbps!!)

wifi did not work

Hotel needs a lot of improvements. When I arrived late in the evening, the TV and Internet connections are not working. The TV connection got fixed the following day but the internet connection was never fixed during my entire stay (8/19-23/2023). The breakfast was not as per advised in Expedia. Just 2 small muffins, yogurt and a packed juice. The frond end staff were nice and apologetic for the situations.

There is no breakfast included, just a brown bag with yogurt, muffin and juice box. It's in a good location and is within walking distance to downtown. Free parking was a great surprise too.

Floor in the room was extremely dirty. Mirror had palms prints right in the middle. Air conditioner was filthy and poured out bad smelling air. the sink was clogged. Luckily, there are 2 sinks in the room. though, sheets were clean, and the bed was comfortable

Claims they have non smoking rooms, yet the moment we stepped into our room it REEKED of cigarette smoke. It’s understanding that they were unable to provide another room to us due to the weekend being busy and them being sold out of rooms. However, there was no accommodations made whatsoever, the room was not recleaned, and we were still charged full price for the stay. The wifi is not password protected, so it doesn’t work whatsoever. Breakfast is fruit, a yogurt and a muffin in a paper bag that you get from reception. You wait at least 30 minutes to get checked into your room. The keycards stopped working about 4 times over the weekend so we had to wait to get new ones. They have photos online for their property, but they only have photos of the updated bedrooms. I’m assuming they renovated the main floor but they did not renovate the second level, which is where we were staying. The room itself was dark, dingey, smelled awful, the ac unit was so loud I thought it was going to take off and fly away. The bathroom had smoke stains all over the walls, there was dust everywhere, all the grout lining the shower was mouldy. There were bugs each time we came back to the room in the bathroom or on the walls. The towels were stained with makeup and god knows what else. The only positive parts of the room were that the water was hot, and the beds were clean. You get what you pay for, and I didn’t expect this place to be amazing but I expected better.

Very basic room but had everything I needed and was very clean.

The room looks like recently renovated, clean, comfy, has an iron, dryer, microwave, fridge. Reasonable price for downtown motel

Wall's were extremely thin. Could hear people coughing in room next door. Ended up having to leave the AC unit running to block out some of the noise. Continental breakfast consisted of bad coffee. Hardly breakfast. Room was clean, looks like it had been renovated recently

Très de base …. Il fesait froid dans la chambre. 19-20 degrés et humide . Nous avions passée la journée dehors à la pluie et au froid. Nous n’avions pas le contrôle du chauffage. J’ai dormi avec mon chandail de coton ouaté et mes jogging.

The walls are paper thin. We could hear tv, people conversation, kid screaming from other room . Sleeping was difficult

Stay OK. Walking distance from Ottawa parliment. In our room, air conditioning directly on the bed (impossible to direct anywhere else). Breakfast included is kind of joke : small muffin / little juice in a box and a small yogourt in a paper bag !!

Room was small but fine. Bed wasn't super comfortable and noises from the neighbouring rooms kept waking me up, but I managed. Would’ve been nice to have been advised of the 200$ security deposit before I got there.

The bed was surprisingly very comfy and had a nice sleep every day for an economic suite, easy parking and safe, disappointed for winter no continental breakfast, but I had a to go bag. Will definitely come back.

Room had no window to the outside. The window overlooked an interior hallway. The hallway overlooked the parking area but you could not leave your room blinds open as everyone walked by your window. The room window was wired glass.

The property was a little old. The surroundings are very loud. You cant get a decent sleep since you can hear a loud noise from the neighboring houses until morning

When i booked this room days ago i called to ensure i could pay at the property. My boyfriend would be putting it on his credit card. The morning of the reservation I recieved a voicemail stating that my card.has been declined and if I didnt pay by 130PM (2 hours before checkin) my reservation would be cancelled. So I called again explained the situation and i was advised that I was required to pay by credit card while on the call, and my boyfriend wasnt here yet so.after telling this again i finally gave upandn told them to cancel the booking. We ended up going to another hotel and having an amazing time.

The contact with the cards may be finnacky because of the cold, but I hope it's just that. It took me various tries to get into my room because the doors wouldn't recognize the key, but that aside. it was a lovely stay and I had a wonderful time.

Staff are very pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, responsible and great services!

In addition to noise (people with baby next to my room inclding tows music around), L have been charged 10$ more than what agreed with expedia. (311.5)

We had booked a room with 2 queen beds and ended up with 2 double beds. They also charged us more money at check out vs what we paid on hotels.com, apparently due to taxes. Finally, picture of breakfast and breakfast room are false advertising: no access to the room and breakfast given in a take out brown bag with a juice box, a bagged muffin and a yogurt. Will not go back again.

All the receptionist and staff are respectful and nice, they are very accommodating

Location was close proximity to many fabulous restaurants and stores. Clean room and friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely stay again!

The staff were really nice. The room was clean, a great deal for the budget with great location and easy transportation. The parking was free and easy. Will visit again.

Great location for walking Ottawa

Location was great, 10 minutes walking distance from the Parliament Buildings and the Rideau Centre. Parking was free.

Super clean and very friendly staff. Walking distance from Rideau Hall and Parliament buildings. A lot of restaurants nearby, and an awesome little movie theatre just up the street. Very close to Byward market. Quite a few street people, but it doesn’t feel unsafe.

Great location only a few minutes from parliament hill area.
