Novotel Perth Langley

The breakfast was great, gym was good, staff were good, the only thing that was bad but out of there control was the lifts did not work properly on the day we checked out, but they did their best to help.

No pool amenities.

I stayed on the 11th floor. Bathroom needs to be upgraded, shower wasnt great but ok. Also they charge you not only for room service which you expect but a $5 Tŕay service, which I had no idea what that was for, what do they expect it to be delivered to on , Hands! The bed was comfortable and I slept well, could hear the people in the other room at times. Also the bar shut early around 9pm or 9.30pm and the resturant and bar were closed on Sunday, its a hotel , it should be open for its guest. I was told one night that I could go to the Irish pub which was open but I was on my own and I didnt want to go to a pub. I found this really a bad mark on the hotel. I think that the after hours menu needs to have more snack type food on it. You cant order chips because the fryer gets turned off at 9.00pm should be able to get bread and dips. I don't think I'd stay there again but I'd recommend it. It was clean and staff pleasant.

Dated wth poor beds and shocking pillows. Add to that the squeaky door on the laundry room in action from 6:30am and I was ready to get the hell out of there. Oh and the hotel bar closed at 10pm… pick somewhere else

The hotel is a good spot, close to the waterfront and within walking distance of the CBD. Parking at the hotel is tight- not that many parks and what is there isnt big! Was worried about parking a small SUV! Rooms are a good size and clean and tidy. However, our room was tired and the bathroom was tired too! Would stay here again.

Wasn’t good, wasn’t bad just meh. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The lobby was ok, nothing special. The hallways and rooms felt quite outdated, the bathroom especially so felt very old. Most of the power plugs in the room didn’t work which was incredibly frustrating, and the TV felt like we were staying in a motel as there was only a handful of free to air TV channels which nobody wants to watch when you get back to the hotel at 10pm. There was a few Foxtel channels but none of them worked, time for an upgrade! $39 Chromecast would be a massive upgrade on its own. But the absolute worst thing was the air conditioning did not work no matter how much we tried to get it to work, the room was a complete sweat box all night so sleeping was almost impossible, both of us got up in the morning drenched in sweat and feeling completely unrested which is definitely not what we were hoping for on our “romantic” night away. As I said, not great. $35 for parking was also a bit of a joke

Room was very clean, Reception is excellent

The rooms were not completely cleaned and very filthy. I complained during my consecutive nights and there was no improvement at all. Even after cleaning was completed, trash and hair remained on the bedroom and bathroom floors and in the bathtub. Glasses, cups, and cutlery were not washed or replaced without my request. This time I had a 4 night reservation, and I complained to the front desk about the cleaning on the morning of the second day, but there was no improvement at all. In addition, the power outlet did not work on some days, which was very inconvenient. Filthy and ill-equipped, this hotel was the very worst. I would tell consumers who are reading this review to never use this hotel.

There was quite a bit of dust in the room, and the vent in the room was visibly dirty.

Room was cleaned and as described. The cleaning crew who cleaned the room everyday was very friendly and did a great job. Will be back.

Housekeeping here is very good she came in everyday topped up the sugar n coffer gave milk when needed.changed our sheets n towels when needed..staff are nice n friendly would gladly stay there again

Very tired for a Novotel. Mould in fridge and on bathroom tiles. Bath needed a good scrub.

Noisy and room not clean

Rediculous charging 35 a day for parking. Did not clean room for 4 days did get clean towels

This property is tired. Been staying here for past 20 years and little to no change to the rooms I’ve experienced. Chipped paint in bath (shower in bath), paint peeling and shower curtain about 3 feet to long so you stand on it whilst showering. More if a motel experience. Definitely better options at the price in Perth.

Just a hotel. Rooms are tired. Shower head in bath very low on wall. Need to step into Bath and crouch down to take a shower. Milk & Tea Bags not replaced every day. No sheer privacy curtains behind the main curtain. Breakfast Employees were lovely and very friendly, but the breakfast buffet was ordinary. Nice Hotel and you get what you pay for.

Felt they didnt help as much as they could of No air con in my room askedb3 times for a fan with no prevail... Couldnt even help with a room cause i was up all nite hot

The room was dated and one could hear the neighboring guests.

Very comfortable room with beautiful river view. Everything we needed plus more was provided. We enjoyed dining at the the restaurant and the buffet breakfast, delicious, excellent service and great options. Very helpful friendly staff. Convenient location to explore Perth CBD and the river side. One slight issue for us was that the air con setting for our room was cooler than we’d like on cold wintery days, and could not alter room temperature. However there was a small portable heater we could use provided in our room. Overall a delightful stay.

A nicely located hotel with views overlooking the Swan River. Close to centre of Perth. Comfortable rooms. Air conditioning didn't seem to be working when I arrived, but was fine for the following days. Breakfast was good value, but I would have welcomed more choice.

Reception staff that didn’t seem to care - one young man in particular who never bothered lodging maintenance request for faulty phone reported soon after check in. Breakfast was very ordinary for the rate they charged. Website and page on Expedia advertise soundproof walls - that was the biggest joke - heard my neighbour on his conference call from 2-5am! Couldn’t even use phone to call anyone about it as it was never fixed deposits asking twice. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and the pillows were great! Event staff also great to work with. Pity about the front desk staff.

They had no empathy rude attitude and wont refund me o stalr

We had an issue with our room when we arrived however the manager Ellie was incredible with how quickly, friendly and professionally she resolved the situation. We were very impressed and meant our stay was very enjoyable.

The staff at the Novotel were fantastic. When ever I had a query they were more than happy to help. After check out we realised we left something in the room. They were more than happy to let us back up to get it. We will definitely stay there again.

Our arrival and check in was smooth however by the third day we were left quite unimpressed with the safety and service of the elevators and the subsequent reactions and assistance by the morning staff. On Saturday afternoon we observed two lifts out of three were unavailable to use and early Sunday morning around 6:30 am we found ALL three lifts out of action. Notwithstaning the safety concerns we had with this (we were on the 11th floor) the reception staff were both vague and unhelpful with how how long the lifts would be out of service and how we could leave the hotel with our bags. We rang the Front desk after an hour and a half to be informed that the Lift Technican had still not arrived??!!! The plans we had made for that morning had to be changed as we were given very little information or assurances that we would be able to leave and return to our rooms before we had to leave in time for our flight. Two hours after our first contact with REception we made the decision to carry our bags down the 11 flights of stairs to the Lobby. Upon arrival at Reception desk to check out - no apology or concern was shown to our discomfort from carrying our bags down or disrupted plans. In fact there was no mention of the out of service lifts at all. This was a very disappointing end to our stay which had been pleasant up to Saturday afternoon.

Even though i had paid and received confirmation. They didnt honour my booking leaving me straned at midnight in an unfamiliar city.. the teqm at Woyif were wondeful and set me up with wonderful alternate accommodation..

I was extremely disappointed with the way my staff member was treated at this hotel. He has severe claustrophobia and kindly requested to use the stairs to Level 1 instead of the elevator. Rather than accommodating his request with understanding, the staff responded dismissively, even laughing at him. Disclosing a legitimate phobia is already a vulnerable experience, and to be met with such a lack of empathy is completely unacceptable. I expect better from a professional hospitality establishment.

Nice and close to central Perth

Located close to Swan River. Easy access to public transport to King Park. Also close to Ferry and trains.

Good location, easy walk down to Elizabeth Quay and the associated restaurants and shops, plus downtown shopping a very quick walk away.

Excellent location, value for money

Good breakfast, good room cleaning service, however area at night a bit looks dangerous, but overall we love it

All of staff are so kind and the river view from I stayed room was amazing! Also,I really like the food this hotel served morning and room service as well.I will definetly stay Novotel again when I come Perth next time!

Nice hotel, a little dated but had a great stay. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and a nice breakfast buffet. Great location to Langley Park.

We particularly liked how easy it was to walk to Elizabeth Quay, which we needed to do for dinner one night and to join a tour one morning. Despite not using it, it was also helpful to know there was a bus stop nearby. Breakfast staff were welcoming and friendly. Despite being located on a busy road, our room was quiet.

Location is extremely convenient

When phoning room service or any options no answer. Rooms dont even have wine glasses a set of knife and forks. My uber eats breakfast arrived i needed a knife and fork phoned up and requested waited 20 min then went down to restaurant and got them from there myself.

We were a little disappointed to be honest -very outdated bathroom with no exhaust fan, shower curtain over a bath and no shower cap for use... aircon did not feel like it was on and the carpet was saturated outside our room. Fridge did not have a freezer section for ice and didn't get cold enough. I thought Novotel was an upmarket hotel, $32.00 for a buffet breakfast was a bit rich as well, we walked around the corner and found a fantastic little breakfast shop, this was our bonus for the stay.

Pathetic hotel. The rooms were so much worse than the advertised images. Breakfast sucked and was a waste of money. The worst part was a $5 delivery fee for room service for a water bottle - ridiculous. Never staying here again, not worth the money at all.

We arrived close to midnight the staff was very welcoming and informative. The views from our suite were picturesqueout over the Swan River . Easy to get around from there free bus less than 200m up the street or a lovely 10 min walk along the swan riverfront to Elizabeth Quay. The downside was only 1 lounge chair in the suite but 2 people would normally occupy that style of room so why only 1 easy chair ,the bed was very firm not real comfy . Breakfast was disappointing same food at buffet day in day out bacon well over cooked . Coffee machine only fills half a cup sad when you look forward to your morning coffee, Would advise people go to the bar and order a really nice coffee from the bar at least its a full cup. Staff definitely fantastic friendly and helpful.

Lifts weren't working, couldn't get hold of room service on the phone. Parking is only catered for small cars and beds were so uncomfortable.

Clean and comfy. Limited in room beverages - hot chocolate sachets would be nice- unable to get this on room service. Staff are all really lovely. Self service coffee machine at breakfast is very average. Cafe service coffee is excellent so worth paying extra for.
