Staff and facility look very modern. Our criticism is that 1 elevator being down is very inconvenient during busy times. The elevators are very small so some times we had to wait 10 minutes as we were on the 4th floor and had a disabled person.

The breakfast was nice,buffet but restaurant style,whereby the waitresses cleared your plates/cups when done. The pool wasn’t big and it was all one depth (3 feet) The jets weren’t working in the hot tub and one of the two elevators wasn’t working either. A guest mentioned the elevator had been down for a month!

Hotel is good. Swimming pool is 3ft only. Two elevators but one is out of order since months (I met a guy who told me he came 6 months ago to this hotel and the second elevator was broken down by then). Also, machine for waffers and pancakes broken down.

The property is quite good, although there has been an out of order elevator (1 of 2) for quite some time. That can make it difficult to get up and down a challenge at times. The breakfast is quite good and there is a gym, pool and spa. The room was quiet, even though there is a busy street at the front. There are a variety of restaurants within an approximate 10 minute walk. This is our second stay and we would book again.

Very nice Red Deer hotel. The room had a kitchenette, K-cup machine, mini fridge, annd enough dishes and cutlery for two people. It also had a nice spot to dine in thr room, a very nice desk and chair, a pull out sofa and a king size bed. We had a hot breakfast buffet included in our stay. The pool is nice and warm. Not very deep, but great for families. The hot tub and steam room were great. A full gym is available to guests. Great value and the hotel was very clean. We would recommend iHotel.

Breakfast is great. We asked the kitchen for pancakes and the chef made them the next day. Great cleaning staff. Love the pool area (sauna, hot tub too). Can mirror my phone to the tv. EV charger works for my ioniq5 (there's a fast charger 5min away as well). Around the corner has lots of fast food. Only one elevator was working at the time of my visit so there was a long wait.

It was our first time there and we loved it we liked being on the third floor and the bed was so comfortable I didn't even want to get out of it the gym is gorgeous definitely a 10 plus on that one the pool was nice but not very deep in the hot tub was just lovely but the sauna was broken so that was a bummer

It looks like this hotel has a large gym facility as part of the hotel but its actually separately operated from the hotel. While you can still use it for free, you are interrogated upon entry as to why you are using it and your gym attire is inspected. Very akward... as I am an avid gym user... The pool and spa facilties are not functioning properly either, the pool wasnt as bad as the hot tub. I only went into the hot tub to my knees before i realized that the water looked like it had been utilized as a communal bathtub for the day. Yuck.. Also, the bathroom in our hotel room also smelled so bad of cigarette smoke. Due to the smoke smell only being in the bathroom it seemed as though people were frequently using the bathroom to smoke in with the fan on as having the fan on made the smell so much worse. Happy that we were only booked for 1 night and I wont be going back anytime soon..

You can tell that at one time it was a higher end hotel. Unfortunately it seriously needs updating and cleanliness is not great. The pool area is shabby and the “rocks” around the hot tub had cobwebs and the coating of the rocks was flaking off. One of our beds had a sheet that was visibly stained, everything was outdated. I cut my finger on the screw of the switch plate in the bathroom. The breakfast was highly disappointing. We were there about 9:20 and breakfast didn’t end until 10 and there was no fruit to be seen, one muffin, cold eggs and hand browns, the sausages looked undercooked, there was no brown bread or bagels. We would not book this hotel again.

It is clearly an old hotel that has had some upgrades. The hallways have a smoking section door but it is non smoking. My room also smells like smoke. It’s a nicely laid out room but the smell is overwhelming.

Staff was great, very helpful and kind. Upon checking in, we were uninformed the wifi was not working. One of the elevators was out of service. The room was very spacious and had a nice lay out. Bathroom had a lot of room and was a nice size. Also had a 2 head shower, which was loose in the wall and calcified. 2 sinks, which was great! Cleaning staff needs to do better. Found a toe nail under one of the desks when unpacking luggage. Kind of off putting and made me wonder about the rest of the room. The room had a Jacuzzi tub which we were excited about. Sprayed down the tub to get rid of any hairs. Started to fill the tub and there were floaties and nasty stuff floating around. Dumped in a good amount of soap and turned on the jets. Let the tub drain, cleared the jets out and sprayed down the tub again. After all of that we filled it again and could enjoy the tub knowing it was cleaner. The Jacuzzi tub was a nice feature knowing we didn't have to worry about the pool/hot tub area being congested. Breakfast was alright, not many quick options to grab and go sit down. The waffle and pancake machines take up quite a bit of time. There were 3 families with kids running around grabbing food and occupying time on pancake and waffle machines which made it longer to get those items for breakfast. There were some other limited options like yogurt, cereal, apples and bananas. Not much for warm/hot food. The staff was on top of keeping all the other areas topped up.

This place was not worth what they are charging per a night was terribly dirty. The looks are honestly quite deceiving. The pool was filthy and disgusting fake eyelashes everywhere the pool lining needs to be redone it’s lifting the tile in the pool was filthy full of dirt. Me and friend were swimming in the pool and I picked my hand up and there was white and orange chunks on my hand. The hot tub didn’t have any chunks but then again the Little rocks where the water fall for the hot tub was dirty and so much dirt. The elevator was slow and sticky

Dried blood stains on the bed sheets. Rooms smelled bad. Breakfast food was abysmal, elevator broken, restaurant closed during its scheduled open hours. Met with front desk to request a 1/2 extra for check out from 11 to 11:30 am, they agreed and confirmed, then called the room interrupting a work meeting insisting we had to leave before 11:30. The spa is nice and the pool area is nice, but the hotel itself was pretty crappy overall.

Room was old and outdated. Carpet was separating. Couch was very uncomfortable to sit on. Not bags in the garbages and no face tissue in the bath room. Kitchenette only had setting for 2 and no towels to dry dishes. On floor 3 ice machine and guest laundry out of order. Felt like hotel is been run down and not takin care of

We arrived roughly at 3:40 pm, we had to wait for the room no big deal. There is a sign saying check in at 3 pm. ( probably should be removed on line says check in 4 pm). The TV didn't work in either room, we told front desk around 5 and said maintenance was not in. So we wait for the next day , they fix the living room, not the bedroom. We call again and the chrome cast had to be replaced in the bedroom. It worked for the night then never again. The mattress was terrible it had sunken in on left and right side of the mattress. We could only sleep in the middle not one good night sleep. We had 1 plate , no forks, just spoons and a knife, for the 2 of us. No towels to dry. The fridge is way to small, not ideal and it keep freezing everything inside. The receptionist should tell you that you need to use the key card in the elevator to get to your floor. Many people we talked to never new and ended up in the basement. The best part of the stay was the breakfast, a little different every morning. The ladies were nice.

The staff! Front desk was fantastic, she really stood out. She was delightful, and it really left an impression. The staff member in the breakfast buffet was polite, made meaningful conversation, and was quick to help or make suggestions. The room was clean, and spacious. My only conplaint was the toiletries were terrible! I would normally bring my own but forgot in this trip, and had to use the shapoo, conditioner and body wash... it was terrible.we would definitely stay at that location again, just remember the toilitries!

I didn't know I have VIP access as front desk never informed, when I arrived slightly earlier they said room not ready and need to head back in another hour. Upon returned, there was a long line up due to a number of guests arrived all at same time, took front desk staff very long time to process one guest booking. I was line up over 20 mins. Room amenities were ok but the shower head water is absolutely weak, the bed mattress coils were pretty much broken, there was no support of the entire back while sleeping.
I didn't know I have VIP access as front desk never informed, when I arrived slightly earlier they said room not ready and need to head back in another hour. Upon returned, there was a long line up due to a number of guests arrived all at same time, took front desk staff very long time to process one guest booking. I was line up over 20 mins. Room amenities were ok but the shower head water is absolutely weak, the bed mattress coils were pretty much broken, there was no support of the entire back while sleeping.

Overall good experience. Front desk was pleasant and efficient. Catering service was on point and even went out of their way to provide GF and vegan options when needed. Breakfast crew was friendly. Room itself, while not extraordinary, was in good standing condition. Bed was comfortable and bathroom had necessary equipments.

Great room, comfortable bed. Had a kitchenette with table. No local tv stations for news/weather which was odd but I was able to cast my Netflix which was nice. Water pressure was almost non existent in the shower but made it work. We did have to ask for bath towels as none were in the room on arrival. Overall though a good stay. The staff were exceptional.

It wasn't bad and it wasn't great! However, Ryan at the front desk was AMAZING! He was super kind and genuine and did whatever it took to make our situation right, which we greatly appreciated! He deserves a raise! The lounge was ok. Free pool which was nice and the food was surprisingly good there and the breakfast lounge. We had the Burger & Beer and I had the quasadilla 1st night and the new york strip, rice and veggies and a Clubhouse the 2nd night. Mohammed was good but could have been better. He seemed to service everyone else but never checked up on us. We always had to go to him for another drink, or condiments. I understand he was the only 1 there but if you can attend to others, make sure you do everyone! The drink menu he said they never use. I like trying new cocktails, so maybe they need to showcase it on every table and use it. He did make me this cherry rum drink which was good but the 2nd night they had no cherry liquor and opted for the raspberry. It wasnt quite as good. Please get some oj or pineapple juice. There was no ketchup for breakfast the 1st night. Smh! Everything is under lock and key including the elevator. Also, i recommend bringing your own room towel to the pool as they don't allow you to leave with a pool towel. The pool is the same depth as the hot tub 3ft with no jets but a nice waterfall. The staff! Front desk was fantastic, she really stood out. She was delightful, and it really left an impression. The staff member in the breakfast buffet was polite, made meaningful conversation, and was quick to help or make suggestions. The room was clean, and spacious. My only conplaint was the toiletries were terrible! I would normally bring my own but forgot in this trip, and had to use the shapoo, conditioner and body wash... it was terrible.we would definitely stay at that location again, just remember the toilitries!

I feel that the price versus what you get for the price was not worth it. The hotel was full because of the trade show in town, they had one elevator not in service, and the other elevator was not working correctly by myself got stuck in it as the other guests not for a very long periods of time but enough to make you wonder why you’re paying almost $400 a night. The restaurant on site, my first day there was not busy there was myself and maybe five other patrons at the time that I was eating it took almost an hour and a half for my food to come out, the server brought my food and did not come to see me again for the next 45 minutes. I had to go find somebody else to get my bill. I travel a ton for work, and I do not make a lot of reviews unless the service is really good or the service is really bad. I’m sure you can guess which way I’m leaning here. I did mention my issues to the management and they did adjust my bill a little bit, but in the future, I just don’t see myself wanting to give them a second chance for a 20% discount and a free dessert. Hotel was nice, but they only had one working elevator and shut the water off before check out. I also asked the front desk to switch credit cards for me when I checked in, and they said they did it. However, the wrong card was charged. I called to ask for them to switch it, and was told a manager would return my call. We are more than a week since then and I still have not heard from a manager.

Check in was good. Room was clean. The lounge was the only place open to eat. The waiter/ Bartender paid attention to the people sitting right at the bar. I had to go ask for menus. When he finally came over to take our order the beer taps were not working properly and the selection of other beers was limited. We could have ordered something else, but we were in the mood for a beer and a burger. The place seemed under staffed and inexperienced. Morning check out ladies were not much help. Overall terrible experience. When checking in, they tried to make me pay ($50 more than the room even was) even though I had paid on Expedia. Once they figured that out they told me they were not able to get me a room key and they would let me in and out as I please. When I told them I wanted a key to my room I was immediately made to feel like I was doing something wrong. As for VIP? Nothing at this property is VIP and it desperately needs an update. I’ve taken pictures and will update a review on Google. This should not be a property on Expedia.

Generally this hotel was good and the price was very reasonable. The hallways could definitely be brighter though and sometimes the elevator had a mind of its own! Also while the breakfast was good, a number of us had to wait as the food trays were empty and took quite a while to refill. All in all though i would recommend it to others!

When checking in the staff member didn’t mention the pool, the games room, and only briefly described breakfast. When my husband went down for breakfast on 1 of our 2 mornings there, the eggs were so runny a watery liquid ran off them and the spoon. It was so busy food was running out and staff seemed stressed. We tried to watch some playoff hockey in the restaurant but all tables were full except a couple with dishes left on them. No server in sight to clean up. Patrons cleaning it up themselves just to get a table. Won’t stay there again.
