We booked this hotel for the pool/hot tub and lounge. After we checked in we went down to the pool area and the hot tub was out of order. Next we wanted to watch the hockey game so went down to lounge…. Told it was not opening tonight….. we ended up walking to a pub. So overall not a very satisfying stay.

This hotel is in a convenient location and bonus having heated underground parking. It is old and needs updating and upgrading. The ladies bathroom in the pool area was dirty and had feces on the floor for the two days we were there proving it hadn\'t been cleaned. My husband and children got stuck in the elevator for over an hour. Staff said "it is always elevator #1" indicating this is a reoccurring problem yet the hotel has not stopped guests from using that elevator that keeps causing problems. we wont be staying here again.

Pool was extremely cloudy, big chunks of chlorine pucks were at the bottom of the Pool. Hot Tub non-functional. Location of the hotel isn't the greatest. Witnessed 2 women get their bags stolen less than a block away from the front entrance of the hotel the night we were there.... people doing drugs in the parkade..... out of all the choices of Hotels in the area we wouldn't stay here again.

I booked this hotel for the pool and hot tub and was not told upon arrival that they were not working, so I got all suited up and headed down to find that they were closed. Then, the vending machine ate my money and the staff weren’t able to do anything to help… they said they weren’t sure what to do about it and to maybe look for a number on the machine. Then, our tv remote was missing, the staff came upstairs to check when I called, confirmed it was missing but wasn’t sure where to locate another, so we couldn’t use the tv. All this being said, I cancelled my second night and moved to a different hotel. Not super impressed at all.

Room wasn’t very clean. Other peoples garbage under the bed, toilet and shower weren’t clean, bathroom sink was clogged, bedding was dirty. Pool was good except it was smelly like it needed some treatment. Hot tub jets didn’t work. Location was seedy and a lot of rif raff around

The mattress was old and dirty. Very small bathroom and awkward layout. The supplied toiletries were almost empty when we arrived. Light fixtures and switches were dirty. In room menu was sticky and crusty. The gym was in the pool area and VERY hot and humid. Positives - we all slept well! We could hear everything in the hall and next door room, but fortunately everyone was quiet after 10.

Absolutely disgusting rooms. First room had hair all over and the headboards weren’t cleaned. Gave us another room that was supposed to be better….it was worse. Dried pop sprayed on the walls and the smell in that room was unbearable. Got a refund and left. Will never return or recommend.

The Wi-Fi and television was terrible. Only worked half my stay and needs an upgrade. There’s three choices for food. They all have the same menu and that was terrible. The bathtub has a very high wall and getting in and out of it to take a shower is unsafe for a fit 55 yr old male No room safe , and my room key constantly needed to be reprogrammed. Two out of three times it needed to be reprogrammed they never even asked for my name just the room number. That’s not very secure.

Like how close it is to where I go for training the only problem is the last couple of times I have stayed I have ended up right infront of the elevators and it is very noisy you can hear the elevator noise and unfortunately anyone who is going up and down the hallway just need better doors to insulate from the noise out in the hallway. Or possibly change the dinging of the elevator to just lights flashing so you know your elevator is arriving. Otherwise everything was great staff always nice and it was clean and the room i stayed in had a lot of room.

The first night I stayed in a room with no AC, no airflow, the window doesn’t open. The second night, the air worked but the tub was coming out in a trickle. Staff were great, very accommodating. There is security in hotel and parking lot. Felt safer.

I was pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded to the Victoria Manor, a king sized one bedroom suite!! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with a great view of the city! Morning sunrise views were lovely!! The staff at the Ramada were very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Property is in good shape and well taken care of, parking was also very convenient. Staff seemed like they could care less about guests, took numerous phone calls to front desk and almost 4 hours to get extra pillows and a blanket to the room. Would leave you on hold and not pick up again. No hot water in the room either. If you don’t have to deal with front desk, it’s a good stay

The front desk staff Olha/Olga (not 100% on her name) was by far and away one of the best hotel staff I have ever dealt with. She heard my concern on an issue, presented a solution, and treated me and my wife with care, concern and professionalism. She made the stay so much better for us!

Location was a plus for me. However, we paid close to $200 for one night at this hotel. Money doesn't get you as much as it used to. One of the guys working the front desk was rude and the other one had hygeine issues. They didn't communicate with us nicely. They seemed to seriously lack training in customer service.

The young lady at the desk at check-in was awesome as well as the staff at breakfast but the floor we were put on smelled of burning plastic, it was actually nauseating. I understand there are renovations taking place but if they are affecting the quality of air or of the actual comfort of guests than maybe noone should be placed on the affected floors, i also witnessed multiple other guests complaining of the same issue to staff in the lobby. Upon checkout in the morning we were informed of an outstanding fee of roughly $40 when i asked what it was for, the girl at the desk was uninterested or unwilling to take the time to look into it or in explaining it to me and dismissing it as fee for parking or something she said! When i said i was told extra parking was roughly $20, she told me it was probably taxes or something that werent charged previously? As i work hard for the money i earn, i am not in the habit of throwing it away. So when i said to her, well i dont plan on paying for something that you cant tell me what it was for, she ignorantly told me she was printing out the bill which didn't show what it was for just that it wasnt paid? I ended up just just paying the amount she said was owing, but would never stay at this hotel again and have already warned co-workers to look for a different place to stay as our work involves alot of travel between Alberta and Ontario we will not be giving our business to this Ramada location again

We arrived at around 11pm and the girl at the desk was texting someone. She said I did not have a reservation. After about 29 minutes she said I did have one but that your company screwed it up. She continued texting. After about 30 minutes she asked for my credit card and driver’s license. Again I waited as nothings was happening from her side of the counter. Downtown area has too many undesirable people hanging around. Not even nice to walk around outside. Narrow staircase from parade to lobby is a bit inconvenient Otherwise everything else was really good. We would stay there again

This hotel is in a convenient location, however it’s not the safest feeling at night, as there were several intoxicated people and the smell of weed everywhere (this may be due to the Rider game and the Ex). The hotel is run down, and quite dirty, it is in need of an overhaul. My kids loved the pool and hot tub area. The air conditioning in the room was great and I had a great comfortable sleep. The hot water didn’t work in our shower, the pool was out of towels, and the elevators were slow, however when I mentioned this at check out the man at the front desk discounted me a bit, which was nice. Overall, I survived and my kids had fun!

When booking, try to get a room that doesn’t face the Main Street/front of the hotel. It’s very noisy unfortunately. Although our stay was nice, we didn’t know parking wasn’t included and it cost us over and above the price to stay. Convenient 20min to Mosaic Stadium which was good.

Great property and very convenient access to everything, the stadium, downtown, The Diplomat restaurant as well as shoppers drug mart. Very very convenient location. The lounge is very nice and the food is great. The staff in the lounge is outstanding. She always had a smile on her face and was very attentive. We did get a larger room because we had extra baggage from an expo to bring up. But the room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable the sheets were amazingly soft. The sofa was incredible uncomfortable so we pulles it out into a bed and it was better to relax on. Was a little surprised that the towels weren't whiter but maybe they have hard water. Overall it was a nice stay other than the motorcycle with the loud pipes going up and down the streets revving his engine at 2 am. lol. It was a great visit.
