The hotel is clearly the n the tail end of renovations. The hallways, areas and majority of the rooms are great. However the tub is still clearly the original as the calking marks and og faucets are still there. Makes it feel rundown still. Hot tub pool area under construction still being updated. The breakfest was 5/5 for what I’d expect from a free breakfest, and the host lady was very nice and friendly. Worth the money just not a 5/5 with the Reno’s still to be done.

It’s an older hotel needing some upgrade in which hot tub is currently closed for replacement. Rooms are not sound proofed well. Can hear people walking from upper level rooms. Not the greatest for light sleepers. Breakfast was good with attendants doing a great job keeping everything stocked.

The hot tub wasn’t working while we stayed. Only one elevator was working and we ended up taking the stairs several times because it took so long. Breakfast was great.

The breakfast had good choices and healthy but scrambled eggs did not have easy access to them. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful. This weekend was very noisy due to hockey team, parents were also noisy in breaskfast area durning evening and kids were constantly running down the halls till very late made it very hard for myself to relax. The hot tub was broken and not stated on app. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious for are group. The parking lot is small due to construction on it at this time. It is close to plenty of amenities.

Clean overall. Helpful staff and decent breakfast. Pool needs a renovation. Tiles coming off, uneven surfaces, and just generally grungy and dirty area. It was closed for maintenance for 1/3 our stay and I suspect that happens a lot.

The room had a strong musty smell, and some parts of the bedroom were dirty—not a big deal or impossible to deal with. There was a stained towel and a pillowcase with marks on it as well. Overall, the hotel was okay, but a bit neglected, with areas that clearly haven’t been well maintained. The parking lot is small. For a Holiday Inn & Suites, it was definitely below the quality they usually offer elsewhere.

The room was amazing! I did notice, however, that there was hair in the bathtub and sink when I checked in. There was only one bathrobe, and the room was not refreshed. Other than that I will be back! :)

Very clean rooms, comfy beds, beautiful lobby. Breakfast included hot items and healthy selections. The pool could use a bit of love and extension of the same cleanliness around the hotel - tiles fell off the walls, and carpenter ants were crawling around (likely the cause of the wall tiles instabilities). The water fountain and flooring needs concentrated attention for cleaning it appeared to be a while. Fitness centre is small but excellent equipment provided (24/7). The staff were exceptionally amazing. Hospitality was above and beyond, a standard others could learn from. I felt well taken care of as a guest here and undoubtedly will return. Thank you!

I really enjoyed our room, it was spacious and clean. When I first sat on the edge of the bed I was very concerned the bed would be very hard. However once I laid down it was very comfortable, not hard but not super soft.

Stayed 1 night, room was very clean. Was easy to get to our destinations in the city to and from the hotel. Breakfast was great with some hot food choices including pancakes, sausage and omelettes. Staff were friendly and efficient. Parking was limited, but it was about 8pm on a saturday, so i guess signs that the hotel was busy. Only downside is that the rooms are not very quiet/sound proof. Could hear all neighbours around us when they walked around and used the bathroom, as well as anytime someone was in the hallway. People werent noisy, its just that sound seemed to carry and almost sounded like they were in the room with us. If youre a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Also lots of light polution in the room from the digital thermostat and from streetlights outside. Didnt bother looking into if we could turn off the light of the thermostat display, maybe if we stayed more than one night. Overall, very nice stay at this hotel.

The staff was excellent. We had to stayed after my daughter had her tonsils removed, and they went above and beyond to make sure there was a room ready for us when we got there. They also had some cute gifts for my daughter to snuggle with as she recovered.

Upon arrival, the front desk only had one room when the reservation was for two. Then, after producing the reservation, the front desk agent said she found a room but it was going to stick us on to completely different floors, After, being a little persistent as I had booked these rooms months in advance for this weekend, she did have the ability to put us side-by-side. I asked what specifically would be pre-authorized on my credit card and she insured that only the room incidental would be charged. I asked her to leave a note on the account that I would be paying cash upon checkout. When she had me sign in the room costs were different and she told me that that would be fixed. In the morning when I woke up, I noticed that there had been three charges on my credit card….. for the room incidental, one for one room at a higher rate than our reservation quoted. and then another for the amount of the original quoted room …..which literally took up and used the balance on my card at that moment making it unusable for the remainder of my trip as I was advised that it would take 5 business days for it to be released. Upon trying to check out the front desk clerk fixed the amounts. I paid cash and left. Not a great first impression.

This building needs an upgrade. It does not meet the usual Holiday Inn standards. It's a bit rough around the edges. Front desk staff need some very basic customer service reminders. After driving for 10 hours, the welcome could be improved and more cordial.

Check-in experience was not that great. They messed up our reservation and told us there is no room available. But after 1 hours while i was talking to expedia support to find another accommodation they found out 2 rooms available it was 11pm in the night. after that , it was a great experience.

Checked in late and front desk is very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast buffet is refilled fast and staff is friendly and cleaning the tables as fast as she can to accommodate incoming new guests to dine. Room is very clean, we had a quiet stay.

The front desk lady seemed to be having a bad day as she was not friendly, nice, or hospitable in any way. The gentlemen at the desk the next day were quite friendly and easy to deal with. The rooms were ok. Would have hope that pet friendly room would have no carpet. We got what seemed to be a wheelchair accessible room as the sink was almost down to our knees.

Hotel itself was good, surrondings not so much. At around 4 Am there was a noisy fight by the parking lot and when the police car arrived, at least 2 persons from the fight run towards the hotel building. Did not feel safe at all, we were not sure if we were goinf to find our parked car in the same condition we left it. Staff is friendly, pool is good and breakfast is really good and varied.

The breakfast options were good. The parking spots are small and it's very difficult to see where to park when the spots in front of the hotel are filled. I liked the fact that the Keg was next door, within easy walking, as well as Earl's, Save-on Foods, and many other places within walking distance.

I had a very nice stay. Coffee was available all the time. Snacks available. Got to go bags at breakfast buffet, so you could take food and go. Breakfast was great including omelette, turkey sausages, bacon, beans, various cinnamon rolls and pastries, excellent choices
