On commence à s’installer, en remontant le deuxième tour de bagages, la même personne nous interpelle : je me suis trompé, vous devez changer de chambre. Toujours aussi froid. Pas génial quand même. Chambre de taille correcte, salle de bain, bain avec cheveux dans le siphon et pas de pression d’eau, lavabo qui s’écoulait très mal, fuite d’eau au sol, wc propre. Les fenêtres ne s’ouvraient que très peu, donc peu d’aération durant la nuit pour rafraîchir car il y avait une clim qui ne fonctionnait que très peu et vu la température de 30*. Oreillers pas très propre. Ascenseur peu sécuritaire, il s’est refermé sur le bras de mon épouse, résultat, gros bleu. Personnel très peu avenant et souriant. Room were clean and bunks were decent however unfortunately my charging socket in the bunk did not work. There was also only one tray under each bunk rather than 2 if you wanted to look your valuables away. Dorms had an en-suite shower and toilet which was clean and modern. They had luggage storage, WiFi was reasonable and they had a nice bar area at the front. It also has parking which a lot of hostels don’t have. Hostel is situated about an 5minute walk from the central station. It is about 10-15minute walk into the centre and another 10-15walk to the waterfront. Overall this is a good modern hostel.

Although staff were very helpful, the wi-fi did not work inside the room and only worked in a very specific part of the lobby. Laundry room and shared kitchen were also not available despite being in the advertisement. The room itself was not bad - you get what you pay for.

The room was tidy and had all basic necessities in place. The breakfast spread was also very nice, and had good variety. The community kitchen however, was not in the best of shape, with some amenities straight up not working. Really appropriate the luggage storage facilities provided, as we reached early and needed to drop our luggage for a few hours before we could check in. Staff was very helpful, thought being a hostel, they maybe not be available allt all times like a hotel, which is perfectly acceptable. The location is easily accessible from both Rotterdam centraal and Trams, though the area by itself doesn't have much to see or explore.

Es war alles sehr eng und extrem Laut. Wir haben kaum schlaf gefunden. Das Parken für das Auto kostet 20€ pro Tag und die Tiefgarage war ebenfals mega eng ( wir fahren nur einen Glof)

Das Parkhaus war schwer zu nutzen, da es sehr eng war und es schwer fiel darin zu navigieren man könnte auch schon sehen das einige andere Autofahrer daran gescheiter sind ihren Lack zu beschützen. Und die Sauberkeit des Badezimmers ließ zu wünschen übrig, sowie auch war der Staubgehalt im Zimmer Recht hoch.

What I did not like about my stay at A&O Rotterdam City was that the lock for the bathroom has a gap meaning anyone could be watched whilst showering and/or using the toilet. This is a breach of privacy. Secondly, I feel the room could've been kept better care of, it attracted bugs and I have received multiple bites because of it. Something extra I want to add is that the elevator to the 2nd and 3rd floors, inside the elevator sometimes the button can take a few presses to flash and take someone to the floor number they chose. This can cause some anxiety especially since the same applies to the button that opens the doors too. This hostel is very convenient, but I feel it does need to improve. I would probably come again if I visit Rotterdam again but things do need to change.

Not fancy but a nice play tonstay for a night. They have a bar where you can purchase drinks or food for a very cheap price. Ask for the pooltable. It is in a hidden room. I would go to this place again if I need a 1 night stay in Rotterdam. It is like 10-15 minute walking from the train station

En arrivant nous avons dû attendre plus de 30 minutes pour le check in. Une fois notre chambre attribuée, en ouvrant la chambre nous voyons qu’elle est déjà occupée. Il a donc fallu retourner à l’accueil pour faire le changement. Dans la nouvelle chambre, la literie était correct mais la salle de bain avait été nettoyé de manière bâclée. Il y avait des cheveux dans la baignoire, des éclats d’urine sur la cuvette…De plus, les murs sont fins et on entend tous les bruits que ce soit dans les autres chambres, le couloir ou la canalisation. Nous avons pris cet hôtel pour une nuit et nous avons été très déçu.

The room next door were smoking weed and it was coming through. I told reception, they sent security up and the problem was solved. Staff were great - I really have few complaints.

Near Rotterdam Centraal, you can walk and tram everywhere. There was no AC and no air circulation what so ever. The windows barely open. It was 30 degrees celcius in the room. Otherwise, the bedding and pillows were good for a hostel.

We had an ok night. We stayed on the 5th floor and had a nice view. Cozy with a small terrace. The room was nice, but the mattresses were very hard and no spring in the bed, so that part was a bit uncomfortable. The area was nice, and ok distance to most things. Hotel ist sauber, Personal wirklich nett 👍 Ein Bett hat gewischt, konnte aber behoben werden. Nervig waren die Gäste, dürfte eine Schulgruppe gewesen sein… bis 2-3 Uhr in die Nacht Lärm auf den Gängen 😠 Nervig war auch die Belüftung im Zimmer… obwohl sie aus war, hörte man immer ein brummen, wie wenn ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre 😠 Schläfen also nur mit Ohrstöpsel empfehlenswert.

Very close to centraal station (about 8 minute walk), plus a major tram line stop directly outside the hotel. Staff is great. There was a small (solvable) issue in my room and the staff fixed it within 10 minutes. Very much a no-frills European hotel room, but it’s clean and safe (security guard on site in the evening)

The staff were really friendly. Area is great, just 9 mins walk to Rotterdam Centraal. Tram station is near 1 min maybe. Rooms are clean, but u cant expect luxus. Its a hostel and very cheap. But gud for the price. Only negative there are so many people, if they are drunk its loud outside ur room. Otherwise it was gud.

Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. In die Innenstadt braucht man 15-20min zu Fuss, dass war sehr praktisch, jedoch ist die Gegend wo das Hostel ist nicht sicher. Die Zimmer müssten mal renoviert werden und es war sehr staubig in den Zimmern. Allgemein war es in Ordnung ich würde es aber nicht nochmal buchen.

The hotel is good at the price. It’s clean enough. The hotel is not allow smoking but when you open the window, the smokes around you 😂😂. But at the price, it is very good. Breakfast at price 10€ but it’s poor and crowded.

I booked single room. It was small, but cozy. Everything was clean and fresh. Breakfast was very nice like in classic hotels.
