We had a short but excellent stay at Santiburi. The pool is huge, comfortable loungers aplenty and the beach area is also lovely with hammocks, bean bags and loungers. Nice touches are the complementary daily ice cream on the beach and complementary afternoon tea in the lounge bar. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast… nothing to complain about at all.

What a special and beautiful resort. From the moment the staff met us at the lobby to the moment we left, we were blown away with this hotel. The room 2 bed duplex was stunning and suited us perfectly. The pool area was perfect and staffed all day offering drinks and food on demand. Beach front massages were brilliant and a very special experience and the dinner at the restaurant on the beach at night was fantastic as well. There was free ice cream every day, as well as free water sports. Breakfast in the morning was very good, with a great selection of food and freshly cooked eggs, crepes, juices and more. Combine that with great service from the team (especially Lek) made a great start to every day we were there. Wish we could have stayed longer and for us, this is the only place to stay when visiting Koh Samui.

We’re writing this first as if like us you won’t read the whole review 🙂 The staff at Santiburi are like something we have never experienced. ALL the people are so nice, not forced but very genuine. Not once calling reception, room service, spa or housekeeping did we receive anything other than a friendly and happy response. I am disabled, the hotel supplied me with a wheelchair within 10 minutes, I or staff could ring reception for a buggy to take me anywhere within the hotel grounds it would arrive to me within minutes. The gate, housekeeping, bar, restaurant, beach, spa and garden staff looked after us over and above anything we have ever received done with a smile or a laugh. We feel so lucky to have found Santiburi. We spent 2 weeks in a Grand Deluxe Pool Villa and what a wonderful 2 weeks it was The villa was immaculate when we arrived and stayed that way for the next two weeks. The villa smelt gorgeous all the time an oil burner was lit morning and evening when the room was cleaned and when the beds were turned down, an anti mosquito burner was lit out in the garden every evening. The pool and gazebo were the cherries on top, floating around the pool then lying on the gazebo bed with the fan blowing a soft cool breeze blowing down. We only ate breakfast in the hotel as we like to go out and eat local food. Breakfast had a great choice of food and drinks, freshly cooked, baked and prepared. Rather than piling up the food on display they were constantly replenishing it

Wir waren im Juni für 10 Tage in einer Grand Reserve Pool Villa. Sehr zu empfehlen!! Die gesamte Hotelanlage inklusive Strand ist top gepflegt. Wir machen 1-2x im Jahr Urlaub in Thailand und buchen immer 5* Resorts. Warum ist uns dieses Hotel vorher nie aufgefallen? Das wird sich jetzt ändern. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Santiburi in Koh Samui is one of the best hotels we have stayed. The staff are super friedly and helpful, the manager present and helpful, the hotel is in an amazing state and the rooms were wide and spacious. The food selection at the 2 restaurants was good, but the quality and the taste of the food was fantastic! The pool could be a bit cooler but that's also a symptom of the weather conditions. Highly highly recommended

We spent 2 weeks in a Grand Deluxe Pool Villa and what a wonderful 2 weeks it was The villa was immaculate when we arrived and stayed that way for the next two weeks. The villa smelt gorgeous all the time an oil burner was lit morning and evening when the room was cleaned and when the beds were turned down, an anti mosquito burner was lit out in the garden every evening. The pool and gazebo were the cherries on top, floating around the pool then lying on the gazebo bed with the fan blowing a soft cool breeze blowing down. We only ate breakfast in the hotel as we like to go out and eat local food. Breakfast had a great choice of food and drinks, freshly cooked, baked and prepared. Rather than piling up the food on display they were constantly replenishing it

Die Mitarbeiter sind von der Reinigungskraft, das Servicepersonal, die Gärtner und der Manager einfach nur TOP. Uns hat gestört, dass die Preise so übertrieben teuer sind. Wir haben für eine Portion trockenen Reis und 1x Mango Sticky Reis, mehr bezahlt, was dort ein Mitarbeiter am Tag verdient. Ausserdem hat uns extrem gestört, dass Raucher wenig Platz in dem Hotel haben. Dort ist einer der größten Pool der Insel, mit abständen zwischen den Liegen von teilweise 10-20m und man hat dort nur eine Bank in der Ecke, wo man rauchen kann. Selbst am Strand muss man an einen kleinen Tisch zum rauchen. Beim Frühstücken ist genug Platz und auch „räumliche“ Trennung, dass man einen Raucher und einen Nichtraucherbereich machen könnte.. wären die total übertriebene Preise nicht und es gäbe mehr Möglichkeiten zum rauchen, wären wir wieder gekommen..

We had a most luxurious vacation at your resort. The staff and accommodations were excellent. My favorite part was the beautiful secluded beach. I also loved the authentic style of the building, especially the hotel entrance/lobby/lounge, and the way the property was spread out. My only critique was the cheap flooring in the villa which was noisy and slippery to walk on. I also think it would be a lovely idea to have a shuttle to go wander into town at the fisherman's village rather than having to take a taxi each time.

Perfect place for a calm and luxurious beach holiday. Friendly and helpful staff, extraordinary breakfast buffet, huge pool (for the ones who don't like to lay on the comfy sunbeds at the beach for any reason) - superb place. The only thing we did not find just perfect was the surrounding area; it's not too fancy at this part of Samui's main road and you will rather take a 10min car/taxi ride to reach the neat areas. We will come back!

True definition of paradise. A wonderful resort. No need to search for any other property of where to stay in Koh Samui. The staff, grounds, private beach, everything is wonderful. Only complaint is the food at the restaurant/bar is a little pricey for what it is.

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Internet ist sehr gut ausgebaut, so reicht es immer auch zum streamen abends. Das Frühstück ist leider nur ausreichend. Hier wünsche ich mir mehr Auswahl und einen geschmackvollere Anrichtung bzw Darstellung.
