Code Samui Hotel

The room was beautiful and very clean. Benz and Lay took really good care of our WCA group. The entire staff at the property is excellent. The steps were tough when tired. An elevator would have been nice. Not handicap accessible.

Wir waren zu 4. im August in dieser Unterkunft, wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer mit 2 separaten Schlafzimmern und Bädern, einen großen Balkon mit wunderschönem Meerblick. Das Frühstück war lecker, jedoch für unseren Geschmack hätte es mehr Auswahl geben können, war aber dennoch vollkommen ausreichend. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ebenfalls gut. Man kann Billiard spielen, es gibt ein gutes Gym und einen Salzwasser Infitiypool. Das WLAN war gut. Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich. Es war sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir würden aufjedenfall wieder kommen! Man sollte sich einen Roller mieten, da das Hotel auf einem Berg ist.

Nice hotel, spacious room and a great pool. You are up in the mountains, so you are a bit isolated. No hotel shuttle into town or the main road… and it’s a hike. Also a lot of stairs… I wouldn’t stay on 3, 4 , or 5th floors.. too many stairs and NO elevator.

We’ve just had a fantastic 12 night stay at the CODE Samui hotel. The hotel itself was great with a spacious 1 bedroom room overlooking the infinity pool with views of the sea. The room was well equipped with kitchen including fridge/freezer, excellent air conditioning, tv with loads of international channels, separate sitting area with large sofa, a bathroom with rain fall shower and a big balcony with seats. As we were there to visit our son who is travelling, the hotel accommodated an additional bed for only 10000baht per day (~£25/day) so he could stay with us. The restaurant was reasonably priced compared to outside restaurants but when we wanted to venture out, the hotel offered a free shuttle to the road at the beach (as the hotel is up a hill) which was no more than 10 mins wait. The infinity pool was great and the fitness area was superb with gym, plunge pool, sauna & steam room. The one thing that makes a great hotel excellent is the people and all the staff (housekeepers, waiters/waitresses, reception etc) clearly take pride in their jobs and it made our guest experience even better. Special mention to Lay, Da, Som and Ben who looked after us every day from breakfast through to dinner. We’ll definitely be coming back to Koh Samui and the CODE hotel. Wir waren für eine Nacht im CODE und wechselten dann das Hotel. Die Lage ist sehr abgelegen auf einer Anhöhe, die per Fuß nur schwer unter großer Anstrengung zu erreichen ist. Deswegen ist man auf ein Taxi oder einen Motorroller zur Erkundung angewiesen. Positiv: die gigantische Aussicht auf das Meer, die Größe der Zimmer sowie der 24h-geöffnete Fitness- und Saunabereich. Negativ: Die Zimmer, die grundsätzlich gut ausgestattet sind und Potenzial zu mehr bieten, weisen deutliche Abnutzungsspuren auf. Löcher in den Fliesen, beschädigte Fronten in der Küche und abgeplatzte und aufgequollene Badmöbel. Zudem geringer Wasserdruck und kein heißes Wasser in der Dusche. Die Klimaanlage schafft es nicht, den Raum konstant runterzukühlen. Gerade nachts eine unerwartet heiße Angelegenheit. Zum Service, freundlicher aber kurz angebundener Empfang ohne Erfrischungsgetränk o.Ä. Aufgrund einer langen Anreise erreichten wir das Hotel erst am Abend. Wir wollten dann zu Abend im Hotel essen; das Restaurant hatte allerdings nur bis 21 Uhr geöffnet. Obwohl nur 5 Minuten zu spät und in der Küche noch Betrieb war, bekamen wir nichts mehr.. Das Wasser im einzigen Pool war grün, vermutlich veralgt bzw. gekippt, sodass wir ihn nicht nutzen wollten. Frühstück a la Carte und Auswahl sehr überschaubar, Preis -Leistung passt nicht. Für eine Nacht ok, aber im Gesamten eher 3*-Niveau und für uns kein Wohlfühlcharakter. Ziemlich internationalisiert, das thailändische Flair fehlt.

Positiv: - gratis shuttle bis 16.00 Uhr. - schöne Anlage besonders der Pool. - leckeres Frühstück. - sehr schönes Fitness Negativ: - für das Motorbike wie auch Airport Shuttle haben wir im Hotel mehr bezahlt als wen wir es im Zentrum gebucht hätten. - Personal was zum teil recht unfreundlich. - Frühstück eher zu wenig & man muss ansonsten für nachbestellungen drauf zahlen. - 17% steuern auf jedes Gericht was ich viel empfinde das die Preise der Speisekarte sonst schon sehr waren. - Dampfbad und Sauna waren Ausserbetrieb.

Sehr gepflegte und schöne Anlage um einfach mal abzuschalten. Hervorragender Service, Freundlicher Empfang und auch ein Fahrdienst in den Ort zum Supermarkt oder zum Strand steht kostenfrei auf Abruf zur Verfügung. Rundum ein perfekter Urlaub mit sehr zuvorkommendem Personal, hier vorrangig Lay zu erwähnen. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Auswahl des zur Verfügung stehendem Frühstück. Hier dürfte die a la Carte Auswahl etwas umfangreicher gestaltet sein. Qualitativ aber ist zu erwähnen das das gebotene Frühstück, die optional zu erwerbenden Snacks oder die Abendkarte sehr leckere und frische Produkte bieten.

The hotel was very nice tucked on the mountainside. The vibe of the hotel was fantastic. Not close to the beach but they were willing to shuttle back and forth. Lovely place outside any hustle and bistle.

I can’t express how nice were all the staff, stayed in several 5 star hotels in koh samui, this is the friendliest happiest and genuine staff I’ve seen, great view , clean rooms I only wish they had elevator . Thank you I’ll be back

We spent 6 wonderful days at the Code Samui Hotel and loved every minute of it. The rooms were lovely and clean and the location was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was really lovely and varied, catering for every taste but the best thing was the friendliness and excellent service from the staff. A thank you to Lay and Dada for looking after us so well and a special thank you to Benz who was the lovliest person and made us feel so welcome every time we ate at the restaurant. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday but still has easy access to the beachfront with regular shuttles between the hotel and beach. All in all a great hotel with fabulous staff.

Wir haben es hier absolut geliebt. Wir haben uns einen Roller gemietet und waren dadurch sehr flexibel. Das Hotel liegt ruhig. Alles ist sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich

Pool was nice and cold loved the pool!… Not much concierge help with assisting luggage up all those stairs. Would be nice to see workers at the door to meet and greet and farewell. Service was great! location nice and quiet. Hire of motorbike was great too!.. Lovely staff!

Just a hotel that needs renovation imo, property is quite old. Staff is very complacent and unprofessional (not everyone just a couple) for a 4 star hotel.

All as you would expect when paying this much for a hotel in Thailand. Place was spotless. Staff were all very polite friendly and efficient.

First, the kindness of the staff and the cleanliness of the environment. "The greenery of the trees and shrubs surrounding the hotel created a tranquil and refreshing atmosphere. It felt like a peaceful retreat from the bustling city."

Der Service und die Freundlichkeit des Personals waren absolut herausragend – hier fühlt man sich wirklich willkommen und bestens betreut. Leider konnten die Zimmer mit diesem hohen Standard nicht mithalten. Im ersten Zimmer funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht, was bei sommerlichen Temperaturen natürlich problematisch war. Das Hotel hat jedoch schnell reagiert und uns ein kostenloses Upgrade angeboten! Im zweiten Zimmer lief dann leider über Nacht literweise Wasser aus der Klimaanlage, was den Schlaf massiv gestört hat und natürlich auch ein Sicherheitsrisiko darstellt. Darüber hinaus war die Sauberkeit im Zimmer verbesserungswürdig – hier hatte ich mehr erwartet. Trotz der Zimmerprobleme kann ich das Hotel aufgrund des wirklich großartigen Personals eingeschränkt empfehlen – mit der Hoffnung, dass die technischen Mängel bald behoben werden.

We had a lovely stay at Code for a week. The hotel was in great condition, and I can’t fault the room at all - spacious, lots of areas for lounging during the October rain, and a great covered balcony. The view of the sea and neighbouring Koh Pahngan was outstanding. It was an added bonus to have a small kitchen area and full sized fridge. The hotel was going through some low-season/Covid renovations - the restaurant terrace was unfortunately closed the majority of our stay which was a shame as it’s a really nice spot. However, they took 20% of our total food bill for this and the Thai food especially was great. The staff were friendly and the massages at the spa were also good. Overall it feels like we found a little gem in the hills of Koh Samui. Only things to improve would be more drinking water/re-fill tap provided. This wasn’t too much of an issue as there is a 7-11 close by. In addition, be prepared for a steep walk down to/back from the beach. Most other guests seemed to have their own transportation whereas we were on foot. It was fine for us, but be prepared for the walk and being relatively secluded during your time here if you don’t have/rent a scooter or car (we got the impression that during the non low/Covid-season there is a more regular shuttle service provided so we may have just been unlucky!). Overall an amazing value and excellent stay.

Not a great location. Showers didn’t work. Aircon leaked constantly and was very difficult to set temp.

This is a beautifully designed hotel...modern architecture, beautiful plants and small gardens/pools integrated to make up the indoor-outdoor feel of the place. Horizon swimming pools and amazing views to the sea and islands beyond add to a great experience. Staff were wonderful, even by 5* hotel standards. Its a very boutique hotel. Only one very minor issue...booked a "penthouse" room...but it was not the top floor as the name would suggest. Wth though...the stay was brilliant.

It's a more secluded part of the island but a 20 min walk down or free hotel drop-off takes you to a wonderful little pocket of restaurants/beach bars/cafes - honestly hidden gems. Really great quality for the food. We spent 8 nights here and have now moved to Lamai Beach (packed with tourist) and we honestly wished we were still in the North. The food was better, and the streets were quieter. The downside is that taxi/Grabs are expensive if you want to visit other parts of the island. The only negative thing I would mention is that the shower water temperature is very difficult to control in both rooms we were in, it's either cold or boiling hot.

Super accueil dans un hôtel bien entretenu, service aux petits soins, nous avons mangé le soir au restaurant, Lay le serveur est un monument de sympathie ! Nous n'hésiterons pas à retourner dans cet hôtel lors de notre prochain passage à koh Samui.

Sehr zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite frau an der Reception . Sie hat für mich die Fähre und transfer zum pier organisiert . Und die rückführung meines Gepäckstückes .Einfach super

We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday but still has easy access to the beachfront with regular shuttles between the hotel and beach. All in all a great hotel with fabulous staff.

Positiv: - gratis shuttle bis 16.00 Uhr. - schöne Anlage besonders der Pool. - leckeres Frühstück. - sehr schönes Fitness Negativ: - für das Motorbike wie auch Airport Shuttle haben wir im Hotel mehr bezahlt als wen wir es im Zentrum gebucht hätten. - Personal was zum teil recht unfreundlich. - Frühstück eher zu wenig & man muss ansonsten für nachbestellungen drauf zahlen. - 17% steuern auf jedes Gericht was ich viel empfinde das die Preise der Speisekarte sonst schon sehr waren. - Dampfbad und Sauna waren Ausserbetrieb.

Sehr gepflegte und schöne Anlage um einfach mal abzuschalten. Hervorragender Service, Freundlicher Empfang und auch ein Fahrdienst in den Ort zum Supermarkt oder zum Strand steht kostenfrei auf Abruf zur Verfügung. Rundum ein perfekter Urlaub mit sehr zuvorkommendem Personal, hier vorrangig Lay zu erwähnen. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Auswahl des zur Verfügung stehendem Frühstück. Hier dürfte die a la Carte Auswahl etwas umfangreicher gestaltet sein. Qualitativ aber ist zu erwähnen das das gebotene Frühstück, die optional zu erwerbenden Snacks oder die Abendkarte sehr leckere und frische Produkte bieten.
