We stayed for 3 nights, 4 days. Everything was far above our expectation. From check in to check out and everything in between was simply perfect. Staff was polite and wanted to make sure that you have the best holiday. Breakfast heathy with a lot of choise as well as diner. This was enjoyable with an amazing infinity pool having a panoramic view. Staff was available all the time, they even had buggys to take you to your room upside the hill. Rooms were big, clean, modern with each a balcony which made you feel at home with so mucht privacy. All together we can only say that this hotel was pure perfection. We’ll surely come back !

Utrolig opplevelse i høyden. Anbefales om man liker det litt rolig og vekk fra hovedveien. Det er lett å komme seg ned mot stranden ved booking av scooter eller bruk av deres shuttleservice. Bassenget og frokosten anbefales og er du en earlybird så kan du benytte deg av en yogatime i morgentimene.

Perfectly located hotel with stunning views :) We would definitely recommend this hotel. The pool/ restaurant area is very beautiful, they provide a great variety of food and serve amazing breakfast. The gym is good equipped, probably better than most hotel gyms. We had the ocean view room, which was huge and very comfortable. Be aware, that a scooter is needed, bc the hotel built in the mountains, so the way up there is steep. All in all the service and the staff was very nice :)

Chambre impeccable, rien à redire. La Navette est un vrai bonheur. La piscine était top aussi. En revanche le personnel de la restauration manquait énormément de solicitude envers nous. On nous a distribué les menus et jamais on est venu nous voir pour prendre la commande, on s’est servi au buffet qui était toujours bien garni au demeurant. La salle de sport impeccable. On reviendra.

Leider hat sich unser Eindruck vom Mantra Resort auf Koh Samui im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr stark verschlechtert. Während unser erster Aufenthalt noch perfekt war, mussten wir dieses Mal erhebliche Mängel feststellen, die einem 5-Sterne-Hotel nicht gerecht werden. Der wohl gravierendste Punkt war ein sicherheitsrelevanter Mangel: Offene Stromkabel im Pool machten diesen unbenutzbar – ein absolutes No-Go! Zudem waren die Pool-Handtücher fleckig und mit Löchern übersät, was den Komfort und die Hygiene erheblich beeinträchtigte. Auch das Restaurant hat an Qualität eingebüßt. Zwei defekte Regenblenden schränkten die Aussicht ein, sodass man nur noch durch Plastik schauen konnte – sehr schade. Das Frühstück ließ ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig, insbesondere die Gläser: milchig, beschädigt und in einem Zustand, den man in einem gehobenen Hotel nicht erwarten würde. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt dieses Mal eine Enttäuschung. Aufgrund dieser gravierenden Mängel werden wir leider nicht mehr wiederkommen. Sehr schade, denn wir hatten das Mantra Resort in bester Erinnerung.

Wow, we had such a great experience staying here. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and get the most out of our stay. The restaurant was fantastic and the pool offered amazing views. The gym was the best equipped that we had in our whole Thailand trip, they have all the equipment that you need to have a good workout. The resort itself is located up on a hill a little ways so it offers a nice quiet environment. The rooms were very clean and also offered amazing views and ice cold a/c. This is a great resort for couples wanting to stay somewhere away from the buzyness but yet still close enough to town to enjoy everything that koh samui has to offer. I highly recommend this resort.

Truly a world-class resort! My wife and I stayed here for a week last year and had an incredible time. Some of the friendliest staff we've encountered and our room was amazing. The gym is fully equipped with everything needed for a good workout. We will definitely miss the ocean views and infinity pool. Definitely plan on staying here again when we come back to Ko Samui. Highly recommended!

Min andra gå g jag bor på Mantra och hade nog stora förväntningar som nästa uppfylldes. Positivt att de numera har fri Shuttle till Fishermann Village och Chaweng. Fortfarande lika god frukost. Minuset är att det oftast är fullt vid piolen, då solsängarna i antal är för få. Jag lyckades få plats en dag. Trist när man upplever att det är ett charterhotell, där folk paxar sängar. Så jag föredrog stranden i stället.

Wir fanden die Lage des Hotels auf einem Hügel äußerst reizvoll. Die Aussicht auf die üppige Vegetation und das weite Meer war beeindruckend. Morgens, beim Aufwachen, hörte man nur das Zwitschern der Vögel – vom Bett aus bot sich uns der Anblick wunderschöner Bäume, Pflanzen und des Meeres. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig, und man saß draußen, wodurch man ebenfalls einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer genießen konnte. Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Wir blieben nur eine Nacht im Hotel, da es als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg zu unserem endgültigen Zielort diente. Unser großzügiges Zimmer umfasste ein Wohnzimmer mit zwei Sofas sowie ein separates Schlafzimmer. Das Bad war sehr sauber und ansprechend eingerichtet. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut und störte den Schlaf.

We had such a nice time at this resort. The rooms are spacious and the huge balconies have a great view over the harbour to look at from the sun loungers. The pool is really nice and the restaurant also has great views. The staff are friendly and all the facilities are clean and modern. It's not super close to town, but a great choice if you want a quiet place to relax, and worth it for the views!

Magnifique hôtel La chambre magnifique La piscine un peu trop froide Par contre la distance jusqu'au restaurant de la ville nest pas a 5min mais plus à 20min Scooter ou taxi obligatoire

Wir fanden die Lage des Hotels auf einem Hügel äußerst reizvoll. Die Aussicht auf die üppige Vegetation und das weite Meer war beeindruckend. Morgens, beim Aufwachen, hörte man nur das Zwitschern der Vögel – vom Bett aus bot sich uns der Anblick wunderschöner Bäume, Pflanzen und des Meeres. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig, und man saß draußen, wodurch man ebenfalls einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer genießen konnte. Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Wir blieben nur eine Nacht im Hotel, da es als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg zu unserem endgültigen Zielort diente. Unser großzügiges Zimmer umfasste ein Wohnzimmer mit zwei Sofas sowie ein separates Schlafzimmer. Das Bad war sehr sauber und ansprechend eingerichtet. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut und störte den Schlaf.

Staff was polite and wanted to make sure that you have the best holiday. Breakfast heathy with a lot of choise as well as diner. This was enjoyable with an amazing infinity pool having a panoramic view. Staff was available all the time, they even had buggys to take you to your room upside the hill. Rooms were big, clean, modern with each a balcony which made you feel at home with so mucht privacy. All together we can only say that this hotel was pure perfection. We’ll surely come back !

Beautiful mountain resort overlooking the ocean with a clear view of Koh Phangan. Our second time here and we will definitely come back. Delicious restaurant. Clean comfortable views. Very kind and helpful staff. We will come back next year.

Service was ok, some staff were friendly, others not friendly nor helpful. The hotel is on a very steep hill and access to the rooms was a little bit of a workout, but provided privacy and breathtaking views from wherever you were. The bed was not very comfortable but the rooms were very spacious, beautiful, private (no walls shared between other rooms) and balcony was very nice. The vibe was very relaxing, the food was excellent, including vegan options upon advance request.

Truly a world-class resort! My wife and I stayed here for a week last year and had an incredible time. Some of the friendliest staff we've encountered and our room was amazing. The gym is fully equipped with everything needed for a good workout. We will definitely miss the ocean views and infinity pool. Definitely plan on staying here again when we come back to Ko Samui. Highly recommended!

We loved us stay at the mantra. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Dean was a wonderful host. Mary and Jay was so welcoming with their smiles. The food was delicious. The rooms were spacious. We can’t wait to return.

We liked the nice view on the bay as well as the very nice rooms. Everything was very clean and the staff at the reception was very helpful - they even offered an excellent WhatsApp service. The restaurant, where breakfast was served, also had a nice view. We were not fully convinced by the service here - from our perception this was not a 5* service.

Das Hotel ist einfach TOP! Das Personal ist super freundlich, das Frühstück klasse und die Aussicht einfach traumhaft. Unser Urlaub dort hat schon perfekt angefangen: angekommen am Hotel, boten mir die Damen am Empfang sofort an, mir meinen verletzten Fuß vom schnorcheln zu versorgen. Danach Check-In und wir wurden auf unser Zimmer gebracht. Hatten sogar ein Upgrade mit Meerblick erhalten. Das Restaurant liegt direkt neben dem Pool und hat den gleichen traumhaften Ausblick. Getränke kann man direkt vom Pool aus bestellen und sie im angenehmen Wasser genießen. Das Hotel bietet auch jeden Tag einen kostenlosen Shuttle z.B. ins Fisherman’s Village an. Dieser Service bietet sich perfekt an, um dort auf den Nightmarket oder auch mal in ein Restaurant zu gehen. Der Manager James ist sehr präsent und ist wirklich daran interessiert, von den Gästen zu erfahren, was ihnen gefällt und was nicht. Er ist ein sehr sympathischer Mensch. Alles in allem waren wir rundum zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder in das Hotel gehen.

The staff were SO sweet and service-minded. The only drawback here is the language barriere. There were only a few who spoke English well, so it was difficult to get good answers if we had questions. The hotel is located far from the beach, (10 min of driving), but if you you have a scooter or book a taxi there is no problem.

L'hôtel est charmant et bénéficie d'une vue vraiment incroyable! Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. En retrait des commerces et au calme, vous disposez néanmoins d'une navette gratuite pour descendre et la possibilité de louer des scooters. Nous avons été un peu déçus par la restauration et le service. Nous nous attendions à mieux pour un 5 étoiles. Nous avons séjourné dans un hôtel 4 étoiles juste avant le Mantra, et la qualité est bien supérieure.

We absolutely loved our stay here for our honeymoon. Beautiful location with a stunning sea view. The hotel is on a very steep hill with the pool and restaurant at the top but you can request a buggy from reception to take you up and down. Staff are so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

When approac the Mantra it’s a big hill. I was hesitant. Don’t be the hotel is top drawer. The rooms are lovely clean modern good internet contemp design hot water good AC. Staff are superb nothing is too much of a trouble. You can get transport from hotel to main road plenty of taxis, use grab app for transport. Restaurant food highly recommended.

Die Unterkunft war ein Traum, das Frühstück war super lecker und der Service immer freundlich. Die Qualität des Essens im Hotel Restaurant war auch sehr gut und Preis Leistung hat ebenso gestimmt. Das einzige Manko des Hotels ist die Lage, die Umgebung ist sehr schön allerdings ist man doch relativ weit weg von Supermärkten etc und ist auf ein Auto / Roller / Grab / Taxi angewiesen.

Prachtige grote kamer met een heel mooi uitzicht. Het resort is wel heel hoog en ongeveer een halfuur lopen naar de weg. Een scooter huren is hierdoor wel nodig. Er is ook een shuttle die je naar beneden brengt maar naar boven niet. Verder was alles aanwezig en het personeel was heel behulpzaam.

Großzügige Räume, sehr schöner Pool mit genügend Liegen, traumhafte Aussicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super. Leider wurden während unseres aufenthaltes Renovierungsarbeiten durchgeführt mit Lärm und Geruchsbelästigung. Der Shuttle vom Berg runter könnte ebenso öfters fahren.

Mantra resort was truly a highlight on my trip to Thailand, I stayed for three nights and really wanted to extend my stay after that! I had the seaview room and it was absolutely beautiful and clean. All of the staff was very eager to help and provided excellent service. The pool area was a bit smaller than I thought, but there was always space in the loungers! What was the absolute best part for me was the breakfast! The buffet at itself was great but then you are able to order from the menu your hot dishes and as many as you wish! Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed for 3 nights, 4 days. Everything was far above our expectation. From check in to check out and everything in between was simply perfect. Staff was polite and wanted to make sure that you have the best holiday. Breakfast heathy with a lot of choise as well as diner. This was enjoyable with an amazing infinity pool having a panoramic view. Staff was available all the time, they even had buggys to take you to your room upside the hill. Rooms were big, clean, modern with each a balcony which made you feel at home with so mucht privacy. All together we can only say that this hotel was pure perfection. We’ll surely come back !

The hotel was very nice. Rooms were amazing, the restaurant and breakfast really good and the pool is also great. The surroundings were quiet and comfortable. The staff were SO sweet and service-minded. The only drawback here is the language barriere. There were only a few who spoke English well, so it was difficult to get good answers if we had questions. The hotel is located far from the beach, (10 min of driving), but if you you have a scooter or book a taxi there is no problem.

I had a lovely stay here, so much that I booked one more night. Good if you’re looking for a relaxing stay, up in the mountain but close to the fisherman city. Staff is incredibly helpful and nice. Would really recommend. Only small complaint is that tv only had cable channels and the breakfast buffet isn’t the tastiest and not a big buffet but you can order from the menu without extra charge which was very good. Overall loved my stay here and would definitely come back

Phenomenal hotel up top a hill in Koh Samui. Great if you are trying to stay put or want to wander out. Hotel provides a free shuttle to the hot spots. The cliff pool will be something i dream about for the next year it is stunning on a sunny day to lounge around. Hotel breakfast was also delicious with great specialty coffees! Would highly suggest if you are looking for a quiet and sexy getaway !

Everything about this resort is 5 star. Staff rooms pool restaurant. Amazing views and the pool is incredible. A lot of stairs and hills but the exercise doesn’t hurt!! Spa was great as well!
