El hotel tenia las cortinas rotas, la crema del café de la habitación estaba vieja, en el gimnasio solo funcionaba una maquina, el restaurante sirve el desayuno muy tarde 7:00 am y no es viable para personas que van de viaje y deben salir temprano a reuniones, al mismo tiempo cierran temprano 7:30 pm y no hay nada cerca para caminar hacia algún restaurante. No fué una buena experiencia en ningún sentido.

Los servicios son muy limitados. El jacuzzi habia que pedirlo con anticipación para que calentara (no lo dijeron al momento de checkin), el restaurante cierra a las 8pm (hay que comer afuera). Todo el personal fantástico, ubicación inmejorable, el chef del desayuno es increíble 5 estrellas a él, por su servicio, además del señor de seguridad muy atento, cordial y siempre a la orden, lastima no recuerdo los nombres. Lo único malo fue que reporte las baterías del control del TV en recepción y nunca las cambiaron, pero me las arreglé para poder utilizar la TV sin el control, no soy de recibir limpieza en mis estadías a menos que la solicite, igual ama de llaves fue muy amable y atenta, les sugiero el letrero de limpieza/ no molestar, les ayudaría muchísimo, el jacuzzi fantástico, muy relajante, volveré cuando me sea posible, me gusto mucho.

This worked well for my family of 5, since the small sofa in the room was a futon. We enjoyed the park that is across the street for walking/running. Parking at the parking garage next door was convenient and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and the included breakfast was tasty.

Rooms suspicious. Breakfast delicious. Bedrooms had bugs, spiders, bathroom had a lot of mold and the AC blew moldy air into the bedroom. The bed was dirty with bugs, dust, and human hair and beard. All the bed linens had yellow stains. The shower curtain was old. I recommend them actually cleaning the rooms and replacing the bed linens and shower curtains. Area was walkable to local restaurants and is safe.

The staff were excellent and breakfast was good, however, this is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The room needs upgrading and my AC, which was right next to the bed couldn't be adjusted to get the cold air out of my face, because one of the parts in the opening was missing. Overall, excellent service and food, but amenities need upgrading.

Good: Nice hot water and great location. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, and seemed like nice neighborhood. Bad: Eventhough I entered 3 guests at Hotels.com, the hotel was only aware of 2. Anyway..$28 upcharge. Cleanliness..One of the blankets was stained/dirty. A few strands of hair on blanket, a/c drips (filter needs cleaning). Found food wrappers from previous guest and an unidentifiable small bug on the floor. Upon check out..Clerk had difficulty providing receipt. Finally after enough pushing, got one. Also, the light in the downstairs ladies room does not work. Hopefully these items get addressed.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and it’s always been clean and a good value compared to some others in San Jose. But this time, after riding a motorcycle from Parrita through the mountains to Puriscal and finally to San Jose, I was hot, dusty and dirty. When I asked the lady at reception for the remote control for the A/C, I was told “sorry, you booked through Expedia and that rate does not include A/C for that room.” I went back and reviewed my Expedia reservation and it does not say the room has no A/C. So for this poor review, I blame Expedia’s lack of transparency more than the hotel.
