Lobby staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable- a good mattress and great pillows. Room was clean. Shower was great. The pool is small and beds always ran out, as everyone returned to the pool for the afternoons when it was hottest. The lobby restaurant was poor. Service very slow and we received a raw burger!

We stayed for 6 nights and the hotel was just what we needed. Friendly informative staff, large clean room, lovely outdoor pool. My only issue was some of the riles were coming loose in the pool. It juat leta the rest of the hotel down. Someone could injure themselves on these. Even with the only iasue i would recommend this hitel to anyone. The tram to the city was just over the road and its in such a friendly area Wie will be back.

Excellent stay! The property has its own parking garage which is really convenient. The rooms are very nice and so is the bathroom. The tram running through to the city centre is right outside the hotel. The metro and the bus stop is also right outside. The staff is very friendly and warm and super helpful! Definitely recommend!!

The pool is in desperate need of renovation, there was loose tiles all over the bottom of it which could pose a serious risk of injury if someone was to stand on one. Bed in the room was extremely creaky and needs replaced. Staff are very kind and considerate.

A 3 night stay in Seville over Easter as part of a longer visit to Spain. The hotel was easily located by road, and has excellent, secure underground parking facilities which were charged at 18 Euro per day. The hotel is bright, modern and clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Check-in and Check-out processes took only a few minutes and were very simple. My room was on the 2nd floor, and was exactly what I needed; clean and bright, good internet access, plenty of room for storage, and an excellent bathroom with a walk-in hot shower! I booked on a Room-only basis, and didn't use any of the leisure facilities, so I don't have any comments regarding those facilities. For me the hotel location was perfect for sightseeing. It is based close to University facilities, within a few moments walk of the main bus and tram lines, but it is also an easy and safe walk directly into the city centre. I chose to walk on most occasions, and from the hotel it took between 10 and 15 minutes to walk to the Plaza de Espana. Overall, this hotel location was a perfect choice for me.

Spacious, clean, modern rooms. Helpful and friendly staff, very willing to help with anything you need. Safe, secure underground parking. Easy 15-ish minute walk to central attractions, or a very quick tram ride, with a stop right outside the hotel. We had a wonderful stay - we’d happily stay again!

The hotel is extremely well located—just 5 minutes from the city center, with the Viapol metro, tramway, and taxi stand right across the street, making it very easy to get around. That said, it can be a bit noisy on weekends. The staff were genuinely kind and especially attentive with children, which made the stay feel welcoming and family-friendly. The suite was spacious and practical for a family. We just got back from a 3 day / night stay at this hotel. It's absolutely perfect for a city break stay. A clean, modern hotel with super friendly and very helpful team. It's situated perfectly for travel from the airport (airport bus stops right outside the hotel - 6 Euros, 20 mins). you can walk to the town centre and the cathedral area in a bout 15 mins, there's a bus and metro station right opposite. We took a train to Cadiz from the main railway station ( 20 min casual walk). Rooms are very comfortable and also quiet and impeccably clean. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice food and drink wise. All good. Definitely going back next year to use as a hub for exploring some more cities in that area of Spain. Top marks.

The problem was that the windows at the front of the hotel are poorly sound proofed. We were on the 4th floor overlooking the main road at the front of the hotel and were repeatedly woken by noisey drunken students from the university coming home during the early morning

The staff was very accommodating. The rooms were immaculate. Shower water pressure excellent. Matress and pillows comfortable. Went on a Saturday. Unfortunately my room faced the street. It got very noisy at around 2am. Moved rooms the next day and was upgraded. This made for a very comfortable stay. Location is right next to San Bernardo bus station. EA bus runs through Santa Justa train station and also the airport. The bus station is just steps away. If I knew this before hand I would not have spent money on the taxi to the hotel. I was able to catch the bus back to the airport smoothly. 25 min walk to the cathedral and alcazar, shorter to plaza de espana. 5 min walk to Mas the grocery store.

Location not in the centre but perfect if you are driving or don’t want to pay the higher prices. Tram right outside the hotel runs frequently & you are outside the cathedral in less than 10 minutes. Rooms are modern, clean & spacious. No a/c in winter so rooms can be hot - windows do open though.

Overall, it’s a good hotel. I marked it down as the extractor vent in the bathroom room fell off the wall twice, revealing an unsightly opening, and the safe in the room was faulty. Otherwise, can’t fault it. It’s the more ‘businessy’ area, which was good for us. Quite quiet, with great transport links. If you want the hustle and bustle of quintessential Seville, then Alfalfa or San Bartolomé areas are better for you. We were able to walk to these areas in 20 mins, whilst passing some great cafes. So worked out perfectly. Opposite the hotel is a tram station (€1.40 to get you to the centre in less than 10 mins), a metro station and a bus station (€5 to the airport in about 20-30 mins). So it’s well connected. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed them - which was also a big plus. If we go back to Seville, we would happily stay there again. ….oh and there is a McDonalds within 25 meters of the hotel, so if you find yourself in need of something more familiar, that’s covered too!

Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The staff was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help us, even with a complicated luggage shipping issue. They printed the necessary documents, patiently helped us organize our suitcase, and thanks to them the process was successful. Overall, the service was warm and professional. We had a lovely time here - the main attractions in Seville were within a 20 minute walk, and the local tram/train stations sit right outside the hotel too. The hotel itself was extremely clean and reasonably priced compared to the other hotels that we had considered. We would like to give a special shout-out to Sara at the front desk - she was extremely kind and helped plan out our trip while we were there. She also wished my partner a Happy Birthday as we were leaving in the morning to go sightseeing which was such a nice thing to do. On this, the hotel had also sent up cake to our room for my partner's birthday which was such a nice surprise! Would definitely recommend to stay here for those visiting Seville!

Location for transport was excellent 👍 we did have a problem on our first night with outside noise , but it was soon sorted & moved to a quieter room ! Food in the hotel was very good & as with drinks was reasonably priced ! The staff were great 😃 special mention of Angela & Sara on reception ❤️

The front desk staff were so helpful with recommendations for places to eat not only in Seville but also in Granada...our next stop on our trip. Buffet breakfast was very good. They delivered a tea kettle to my room after I commented on not having one.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Occidental during our 5 nights in Seville! The room was comfortable, tidy and quiet. The hotel is also very well located as it is right across the street from a major transport hub with airport bus and city tram connections. (Or a 20 minute or so walk into the old town). Staff were friendly and helpful and a good breakfast was on offer if required. Would recommend 👍

Good hotel for visiting Sevilla. Only 3 tram stops away of the old city center. Opposite of the hotel is the tram stop, bus stop and train. Also shuttle bus to the airport for 5 euro. Hotel itself has great breakfast with a good variety from bread, croissants to yoghurts and fruit. Coffiee is fine and they have fresh orange juice. Friendly and helpfull staff who speaks english. Keep your window closed as it can be noisy and matrass was for my back reasonable. Clean and good bathroom. Hardly no english channels on the TV.

The check-in was easy and the staff has been great. Also, the room was clean and spacious. The hotel is conveniently located to public transportation, which made it easy to visit Plaza de España y el Centro. The only minor thing, on the last day of our stay (Monday after the first weekend of La Feria) we went to get breakfast right after they opened at 7:30, and all the food that was supposed to be hot was cold. We asked the staff if they could warm up our plates, which they did. But they did not seem too concern about the food being cold, even after we told them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

The only thing you should change are the times of the breakfast. 7.30/8.00 is much too late. There are trains and tourist attractions to catch - and I couldn’t eat the “alternative” lunch bag because of food intolerances. And your breakfast (and restaurant) was of very good quality and choices.
