Stayed 4 nights

First the view is absolutely beautiful. The house was clean and comfortable. Owner was clear in directions. Plenty of parking. Location was great. View is amazing. We had elk come up to the house several times. Lots of extra pillows and blankets. It was very challenging to find the house. While the host did send the coordinates most of our group did not pay attention and drove up the wrong driveway. The surrounding neighbors all asked us to ask the owner to please put an address sign on the road, which seems like a reasonable request. When we arrived the alarm was not set and the house was extremely hot which was a little disconcerting. We were a party of 8 women there for 4 days and there were only 2 rolls of paper towels and less than 1 extra roll of toilet paper per bathroom. We were only allowed 3 bags of trash apparently regardless how long the stay was which was a challenge. What is listed as queen beds are clearly double beds. Thankfully only we only had to share one bed as it was a tight fit. The microwave did not seem to work correctly as could not get popcorn to pop correctly. WiFi and cell coverage was less than sufficient for our group. Highway noise was pretty loud even with the windows closed. It was hard to hear the ocean with the windows open even late at night with the traffic sounds. Plan on driving to the beach as you would have to walk across and down the highway not just down the driveway. Bring your own deck chairs if you want to sit outside on the decks

Additional towels in the bathrooms would insure that each guest that was registered has a towel.

Beautiful View, But Very Disappointing StayThe view from this home is absolutely incredible — truly the best part. Unfortunately, almost everything else fell far below what was advertised as a “luxury” rental.Security & Privacy The indoor alarm went off randomly while our whole group was together. No one touched it, yet the host blamed my son. There’s also an indoor security camera, which violates VRBO policy. The host says it isn’t monitored, but that doesn’t solve the privacy concern. One nearby bedroom even has a glass door.Cleanliness & Maintenance 🧼Several bathrooms were dirty. The downstairs shower ceiling was damaged and dropped debris. The master toilet handle was broken, so we had to flush manually inside the tank. One bed had sand in it, and we found spiders everywhere — more than ten on day one.Quality IssuesThe beds were so uncomfortable that one couple left for a hotel. The ping pong room was extremely dirty and full of bugs. Toiletries were very cheap, and listing photos were outdated.Host & VRBO Before arrival, the host asked me to Venmo an extra 1,000 for additional guests — I paid in good faith, which I regret. After the stay, he stopped responding and ignored VRBO’s attempts to reach him. VRBO eventually told me they can’t force a host to provide compensation.Final ThoughtAmazing view, but the issues outweighed it.

Views were incredible and kitchen and living room space was comfortable and accommodating for large families. Suggestions: The listing stated it sleeps fourteen people so we were expecting beds and hide a beds but not mattresses on the floor. Also, it would be nice to have patio furniture on the deck.

Really lovely panoramic view of the ocean, close to amenities and Cannon Beach. Spacious and great space layout for large families. Good privacy for each couple.
