Employees shall smile to customer while serving vs just serve. If you advertise spa as part of facility, you can not ask for on top payment.. somewhere in the deep note it is mentioned that i told, but who reads all? It would be very disappointing for a family, not necessarily having budget for extra payment

De receptie van het hotel is permanent gesloten, als je voor 22 uur arriveert, kan je een zelf check-in doen, als je erna arriveert moet je in het ernaast gelegen hotel inchecken. De info die ik daarbij kreeg was minimaal, gelukkig zit er een sticker op de kaart om de kamer te open met de tijden van het ontbijt.

Molto comodo per chi arriva o parte in nave, ideale per un soggiorno di una o due notti. Vicino al centro storico e al quartiere Rotermann. Colazione varia e abbondante. Il punto forte è senza dubbio la possibilità di accedere al centro termale dell'adiacente Tallink Spa Hotel per 3h a soli 8 €. Check-in automatico semplice e rapido. Personale assente alla reception, bisogna rivolgersi al banco del vicino Tallink Spa, collegato con corridoio interno, spesso affollato. Il bagno andrebbe rinnovato e la pulizia in camera potrebbe essere più accurata.

The SPA in nearby hotel was good, although a bit crowded at the afternoon. Breakfast is decent. Room is small, but clean. Perhaps noise isolation could be better. The price was high although comparable with nearby hotels.

It's a kind of basic budget hotel conveniently located between the harbour and the old town, there's a bus from the stop Linnahall (200 meters from the property) connecting you directly from/to the railway station and the airport. Breakfast was more than satisfactory and the quality of the food was good. Staff is English speaking and very helpful, even if they encourage you to make the check-in and check-out via Internet (I did the check-in online, it was quick and easy). Laundry service was excellent: if you give your clothes in the morning before 8, you'll find them cleaned and ironed in your room the same evening. Hotellet ligger ca 10 min från ingången till gamla stan. Ca 5 minuter från spårvagnshållplats. Hotellrummen är rena och rymliga. I badrummet går inte dörren igen ordentligt - den har troligen skadats av fukt. Matsalen liknar en skolmatsal. Frukosten dock OK med något för alla. Hotellet har ingen mysfaktor men passar säkert barnfamiljer. Vi kom kl 11 på förmiddagen och incheckningstid var kl 15. De ville ha 10 EUR för förtida incheckning. Första gången jag varit med om liknande. Systerhotellet med spa ligger nära. Inträde då 10 EUR. Mina väninnor tyckte sängarna var dåliga. Ingen säkerhet på hotellet. Vem som helst kan ta hissen upp till våningarna. Tråkig reception. Personalen dock OK. Svarade på våra frågor. Talinncard kan köpas vid systerhotellet bredvid.

Rengøring på hotellet var mangelfuld. Højstolen til børn var fyldt med gamle indtørret madrester og så er der gulvtæpper på næsten hele hotellet, hvilket ikke er særlig hygiejnisk. Virkelig lydt, vi kunne høre alt fra de omkringliggende værelser og lastbiler der kørte frem og tilbage mod havnen hele aftenen/natten.

I stayed here overnight and took a ferry to Helsinki early the next morning. The hotel is only c. 5 minutes from the terminal and ideally located. The room and hotel overall were very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Easy to check in using the on line check in. The employees are polite and helpful. The only negatives are that while room itself was clean, the carpets are stained and it gives the impression that it’s dirty. The other issue is there’s no air conditioning and in summer… it’s very uncomfortable, even though you can open the windows. The location is perfectly situated to the old town as well as the ferry terminals. Good spot for budget travelers.

Hotel was basic and clean enough, well located for the ferry port and a short walk into the old city. Rooms are a little tired and getting hot water in the shower involved a bit of luck but for the cost of the stay it was all reasonable enough. There isn't much in the local area for food other than a couple of restaurants associated to the hotel. Nearest supermarket is about 5-10 minutes walk away. Breakfast buffet was 17 euros but could be booked in advance for 14 euros, I didn't partake as the cost felt a bit high for what it was.

Pros: Clean room, nice staff, and good water pressure in the shower. Cons: Bad isolation meaning you can hear people talking from the neighbour rooms. We had the dinner buffer at the hotel restaurant and it was terrible, uneatable. Everything had a chemical bad subtle background taste, like it had been stored without cover in the same smelly fridge, or contaminated with some cleaning product. The breakfast only had one coffee machine for the entire restaurant, meaning a long line of waiting. The scrambled egg were swimming in a lot of water, a bit weard.

Camera molto piccola. Il letto matrimoniale da un lato era attaccato al muro e dall'altro lato era attaccato al divano letto. Non potevamo quasi muoverci. Lo spazio andava bene solo per una doppia, non per una quadrupla. Colazione abbondante ma quasi esclusivamente con con cibo salato. Dolce quasi inesistente.

This is what it says on the tin it’s a budget hotel - if that’s what you expect then you won’t be disappointed. The room was clean but dated. The bed was comfy - small pillows but if you ask reception they will give you another. Shower Water pressure was good. Communal areas were really nice and updated. And the tv in our room had some English channels - nice way to wind down after 22k steps. 5 min walk to the ferry terminal for Helsinki. We paid €140 for 3 nights. My only flaw on this hotel was on the Saturday night most of the rooms on our Floor had 13 year olds staying in them, there wasn’t an adult in sight and from 9 - 11 pm they were running up and down the corridors banging on their friends doors and then slamming doors, the walls were thin so they shook everytime a door was slammed. We did ask them to stop several times and called reception however apparently the rules are they can make as much noise as they like until 11pm. Another thing to note is that there is no kettle in the room - hand wash and body wash in the bathroom. Also bolt eats deliver to the hotel.

We did ask them to stop several times and called reception however apparently the rules are they can make as much noise as they like until 11pm. Another thing to note is that there is no kettle in the room - hand wash and body wash in the bathroom. Also bolt eats deliver to the hotel.

It was just what we needed. Check-in and check-out were easy, staff was helpful and friendly, room was clean and everything worked. Good water pressure in the shower, old-town easily reached by foot (10mins). The spa was too expensive for us, but all in all it was exactly what we wanted in a hotel.

Péssimo atendimento. Atendente mal humorada, nem nos cumprimentou direito. Parecia não estar com a minima vontade de nos atender. Laundry service was excellent: if you give your clothes in the morning before 8, you'll find them cleaned and ironed in your room the same evening. I stayed here overnight and took a ferry to Helsinki early the next morning. The hotel is only c. 5 minutes from the terminal and ideally located. The room and hotel overall were very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Travel to Russia is currently difficult. As it is currently not possible to travel to Russia via Helsinki, we had to reschedule our trips, which we had booked well in advance. We have found a good and inexpensive place to stay for our purpose. We are grateful for this. The hotel is close to the harbor, which was the most important thing for us.

Pros: Clean room, nice staff, and good water pressure in the shower. Cons: Bad isolation meaning you can hear people talking from the neighbour rooms. We had the dinner buffer at the hotel restaurant and it was terrible, uneatable. Everything had a chemical bad subtle background taste, like it had been stored without cover in the same smelly fridge, or contaminated with some cleaning product. The breakfast only had one coffee machine for the entire restaurant, meaning a long line of waiting. The scrambled egg were swimming in a lot of water, a bit weard.

A renovated and cozy hotel! Some rooms come with a small refrigerator. There is a blackout cuttain for the window with the cord placed on the right side of the window. The location is excellent, close to the harbour and the old town!
