A wonderful 3 day getaway. Sunsets from the deck were glorious. Love off season, we had the beach to ourselves. The best view from any kitchen sink I've seen.. We slept like logs on the comfy bed. Loved the security of the fenced yard for our pups.

Loved everything about this beautiful space! We were thrilled with the location right on the ocean. Also, the hot tub was so nice. Beds comfy and getting up to a a cozy fire was amazing. Daniel was very responsive. We hope to be back one day. ♥️

We just finished our 2nd stay at Sweet Cove and it was as equally amazing as the 1st visit last February. The house is well appointed, clean and as pictured. The view is sublime. What is hard to see in the pictures are all the different 'spots' to hang out whether it's inside the house, the hot tub, the yard, beach or bluff. We will be back again!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! The cozy fireplace was perfect for relaxing evenings, and the spacious hot tub offered stunning ocean views. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the cookware we needed, and the large dining room windows facing the cliffside and beach provided breathtaking scenery throughout our stay. Dan was a very helpful and accommodating host, though I recommend sending check-in details through the VRBO app in the future for ease of communication. Our family loves this property! The host Dan is very nice and responsive. The house is very clean and has the most amazing views. My husbands favorite thing is the hot tub. My favorite thing is the private picnic bench that overlooks the cliffs. I drank my coffee there every morning. Great beach access also! We will continue to have our annual family vacation there for years to come! I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

Our time at the Sweet Cottage was wonderful. We got to see the Milky Way a couple nights and a spectacular sunset one of the evenings. Beaches are close by and lovely to explore. We didn’t spend much time in the house but I would’ve like it to be cleaner. That being said we would stay again because of the uniqueness of the property. Thank you!

Very clean, well appointed with views that just can't be depicted in a photograph. With the views, walks on a virtually empty beach, wood burning stove and the hot tub on the deck for stargazing, we have found no better place to unwind. A bit out of the way, which is perfect for us. A beautiful, enjoyable drive about 30 minutes north of Fort Bragg. Make sure to stop at Cowlicks in Fort Bragg for some amazing ice cream!

Exactly as pictured and more. The view is beautiful, from dawn to dusk, and night sky is perfect for some stargazing, very far away from light pollution. Bring your own telescope or use the one from the rental. Fort Bragg is not too far, and the harbor seals at Laguna Point was the highlight for the kids. Place could use some updating, but is clean and organized. Understandable since they accept dogs, which why we picked this place. The huge backyard view of the pacific coast is fantastic.

Came to relax and unwind from a 4 month case of cabin fever following foot surgery.This is my third stay at Sweet Cove. I'll be returning again in August with my two sons. I am still recovering from foot surgery and currently have limited mobility. I'm using a knee scooter and this Cottage was so easy for me to get around. All one level except for one step down to the deck which I was able to easily manage.As usual, the kitchen is well appointed and the cottage is very clean. Since I was not able to walk on the beach this time, it was nice to have a lovely view of it. Dan is a wonderful host and gives you all the information you will need for a no hassle check-in and information regarding what is in the area. Can't wait to return in a couple of months!Anita

This cottage was absolutely amazing, and perfectly suited my need for a beautiful, comfortable environment in which to rest and dream. The house was clean and well kept, and I’m not sure there could be a better setting for a small VRBO on the entire California coast. The owner was responsive and caring. Wonderful!!!

It was exactly what we were looking for! Little house with views, smells and sounds of the ocean. The beach was walking distance, just a little hike. Remote, quiet, peaceful and lovely. Fenced in grounds for our dogs to play and then beautiful extended property to stroll and enjoy the scenery, sounds and smells of the beach.

Cottage was comfortable, view amazing. Traffic on the road to the campground below awful. Constant traffic right next to the house. Tuesday-Wednesday not to bad. Thursday increased. Friday constant traffic. Disappointed in that I asked about noise from the campground, told not an issue. Was not told about the traffic issue.

Our stay here was wonderful. The location is spectacularly beautiful. I enjoyed walking the bluff every day! The house was small but fucntional and we loved being able to go into Fort Bragg for food and fun. Looking forward to staying again in the future during whale season! Lookong forasrd to staying

We had a great time. Very relaxing. The view is amazing. We enjoyed cooking and seeing the beach. We loved the fog rolling in. The cottage is quiet and so comfortable. We will definitely make a return trip. The beach is gorgeous. Just an amazing time!

I believe this was our 6th trip to the cottage at Sweet Cove, and as always it never disappoints! My husband and my dog enjoyed 7 wonderful nights. The property is cozy, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. We enjoyed walks on the beach and nights by the fire. We always love cooking in the well equipped kitchen. And the views of the ocean create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere and lots of photo opportunities! Although the weather was a little wild due to the crazy atmospheric river storms that were hitting the coast during our trip. Dan is such a lovely and kind host. He checked in with us frequently to ensure we were safe and that the power had not been affected. He even offered to let us stay another night if the roads were unsafe to drive home at the end of our trip. The cottage is our favorite, Dan is the best host, and we look forward to many more stays at the cottage. Thank you, Dan!

Dan was such a helpful and quick responding host. The house is set perfectly to gaze at the Pacific for hours. The property is massive and allows for walks to the beach through the adjacent campground. You can park there too if it is too far to walk. The kitchen is well stocked along with all bedrooms. We will be back in the years to come for sure.

My family had the most amazing time! The property and house were excellent! My husband loved the hot tub and the kids and I loved sitting at the picnic table over looking the bluffs. I loved sitting at the kitchen table and enjoying the wonderful views! We have definitely found our forever summer vacation rental! A friend and I wanted to relax. This little home was perfect. The walk to the beach (if getting sand in your toes is what you’re after) is relatively short. Nobody was around, though maybe it’s just that time of year. The view of the ocean is completely unobstructed, and the sunsets were beautiful. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen is stocked with all of the normal things you’d expect to see in a kitchen. The beds are comfortable. And it was very quiet. The one thing I did not prepare for, though, is the closest fully-stocked grocery store is about 20 minutes away. There is a tiny store in the campground below (you can get bottled water and some first aid items), and there is a community store about a mile away. It has some basic groceries, canned goods, beer/wine. Anyway, not an issue if you plan ahead. Dan is super responsive. I highly recommend this little gem on the bluff.

This cottage was absolutely amazing, and perfectly suited my need for a beautiful, comfortable environment in which to rest and dream. The house was clean and well kept, and I’m not sure there could be a better setting for a small VRBO on the entire California coast. The owner was responsive and caring. Wonderful!!!

With the views, walks on a virtually empty beach, wood burning stove and the hot tub on the deck for stargazing, we have found no better place to unwind. A bit out of the way, which is perfect for us. A beautiful, enjoyable drive about 30 minutes north of Fort Bragg. Make sure to stop at Cowlicks in Fort Bragg for some amazing ice cream!

This was my family’s 3rd time staying and had wonderful trip. The views and property is our favorite. I love to drink my coffee in the morning at the picnic table overlooking the bluff. The beach is amazing too! I never want to leave. It’s our home away from home and we hope to continue having our annual family vacations there.

Exactly as pictured and more. The view is beautiful, from dawn to dusk, and night sky is perfect for some stargazing, very far away from light pollution. Bring your own telescope or use the one from the rental. Fort Bragg is not too far, and the harbor seals at Laguna Point was the highlight for the kids. Place could use some updating, but is clean and organized. Understandable since they accept dogs, which why we picked this place. The huge backyard view of the pacific coast is fantastic.

Enjoyed the house and the back deck for watching the sunset. Walked out the the edge of the bluff in the morning with my coffee. Great quiet spot above a pretty busy campground and beach.

This property is exactly as shown in the pictures. The views are amazing. It is much closer to Ft Bragg than we anticipated - easy access to groceries/pharmacies. If you are looking for a place to sit and relax with a spectacular view - perfect. If you want space and nature with day trips - great. (We enjoyed Glass Beach and the Sea Glass Museum and spent a day driving up to the Avenue of the Giants and checking out the many beach stops along Coast Hwy.) The house is very well equipped and comfortable inside and out. The fireplace inside and the picnic table and spa outside were icing on the cake. Don't let the presence of the campground deter you. We were surprised at how little impact it had on our stay. The sound of the waves is all we heard. The host has given more thought than most VRBO owners at providing a homey environment and was very accessible without being intrusive. We highly recommend!

This place is amazing! From the views to the location and the property it’s just perfect. We stayed from Thursday to Monday and only left one time to get a sandwich from the General Store in Westport. The sandwiches were great and definitely recommended. I can’t say enough about the place and we enjoyed every second! Thanks!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! The cozy fireplace was perfect for relaxing evenings, and the spacious hot tub offered stunning ocean views. Our stay here was wonderful. The location is spectacularly beautiful. I enjoyed walking the bluff every day! The house was small but fucntional and we loved being able to go into Fort Bragg for food and fun. Looking forward to staying again in the future during whale season! Lookong forasrd to staying

The cottage was very comfortable, had everything you could need and the views, couldn't ask for better. The kitchen was perfect, as we cooked daily, and ate at the table on the deck most days. The beds were very comfortable. We were fortunate to see wildlife like deer and fawn and adorable baby fox frolicking in the grass. The jacuzzi was fantastic, great place to wind down the evening listening to the ocean waves. The beach is just a short 2 minute drive away down the hill.
